‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’ is your basic good movie of its type. The previews are honest about what it is, but leave room for a few surprises. The plot, special effects, and acting all went a little off-track a couple of times, but over-all are very good. The scenery shots were good enough that I was distracted from the story a couple of times. I really didn’t see anything majorly wrong with this movie. It held my attention from beginning to end. It may not be the best movie ever, but it's worth seeing.

It was alright. It didn't make a lasting impression since I saw it last weekend and don't quite remember it. I did like Gambit but he had such a small part, it seems like I've seen the last of him already.

I was very disappointed in this film since I am a fan of Hugh Jackman as an actor/performer (he made a great MC at the Oscars). However, none of the charm that saved his previous film "Australia", instead we are shown how his humorless character achieved his status as a killer. Practically all of the characters are written as one note and even the usually excellent Lynn Collins (superb in "Merchant of Venice") are reduced to caricatures. I was so bored that I was relieved when this film was over!!

If you do not know jack about wolvie or actually missed all three previous x-men movies. Then this one is for you. Some of the sub plots seemed very tacked on. All around this would make a great matinee just do not pay ten bucks for it.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine very obviously tells of the origin of Marvel Comics mega-star mutant. As with most movies about comic book heroes, movie makers do not follow the comic book story of the hero as in this movie. Does that hurt this movie? No, but it doesn’t help a lot either. Overall the movie is “okay” it’s not great, but “okay.” The rest of the family enjoyed the movie, so I think it is okay for the kids too.

If you're looking for an action packed big screen eye opener this is a great movie for you. Don't look for cohesive dialogue or well delivered lines. That's not what this movie is about. Just go to enjoy the almost non stop action.

i thoroughly enjoyed it! the action was perfect and the big fight at the end was very well-done ;) if u enjoyed the x-men movies, im sure u'd enjoy this one too.
of course as an x-fan, i expected to at least see maverick as a teammate along with sabretooth n all them, but still... the liberties taken were still enjoyable. i'll definitely pick it up on dvd when it comes out =D

First, this movie is the perfect length. Not long like the latest Batman or Watchmen movies. The special effects are good. This movie explains how Wolverine gets his metalic skeleton inserted in his body. But doesnt explain how him and his brother were able to live through so many wars, including WWI, WWII, Korean, Vietnam, etc. But then again, they're mutants. If I had to rate the best X Men movies from best to worst, I'd say X Men I, II, Origins, and finally III. This movie is definitly worth seeing in the theaters.

The movie was full of action and fun just sit there and enjoy the ride. Summer movies are all about action and this movie did not disappoint. Hugh was amazing and he looked good!! I also really enjoyed Taylor Kitsch as Gambit he is too cute.

Excellent from start to finish. Love Liev as Sabertooth. Hugh was great as usual. Can't wait to see the next origins.. Hope its Magneto or Professor X. I would ask for Aurora...but Halle Berry is horrible as Storm.

As far as superhero origin movies goes, this is one of the better ones. The action was tight and the acting was superb.
Why do we love superheroes? Because we wish to be like them! And this movie doesn't disappoint. Who doesn't want to either be Hugh Jackman or be with him? Add adamantium claws, a healing factor, and a bada$$ attitude and this movie is a winner. If you're into chick flicks this movie might not be for you, but I bet chicks will be flocking to see this movie just to see HuJack's barea$$. And dudes will be happy to bring them. Go see this movie... especially cuz the critics didn't love it.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine was an action-packed, special effects bonanza that was very entertaining and kept the viewers attention well. It was, however the first time that I ever seen anyone depict ANY of the X-Men as immortal beings. I don't recall any of the X-Men "literature" portraying them as such. So here we have Wolverine and Sabertooth (suddenly brothers, too) romping thru the CivilWar, WWI, WWII, and Viet Nam. Just a bit too much "artistic license" on a well-established story line for my tastes
All-in -all, if I ignored that, it was a good movie.

This origins movie didn't drag on. It was action-packed from beginning to end and it helped to explain not just the origin of Wolverine but also other X-Men. I liked the connection between Wolverine and Sabretooth and the battle scenes were amazing! This is a must see in the theaters and a must purchase on DVD when it comes out!

I would have to say this was the worst of the 4 movies but it wasn't far below them. It was just ok. Plenty of action sequences but i felt a little let down especially by the end fight. It is a possibility you might be disappointed to, but you may not be. See for yourself.

Interesting treatment of "the Early Years" of Wolverine, fun and satisfying for fans. Jackman is great at breathing life and complexity into a cartoon character, without overdoing it. Special effects and numerous fight/suspense scenes are adrenaline-pumping, and everyone looks forward to more Deadpool in the next movie.
Saw the movie with boys 10, 11 and 12 -- all enjoyed it a lot, but it took them hours to "come down" -- a testosterone festival!

This movie was so hyped and I was looking so forward to seeing it. I was however, sadly disappointed. The special effects in some places looked soooo cheezy and was obviously green screened and badly so. The script and dialogue was also so weak and predictable that it was distracting. Good thing it did well on the opening weekend because that's all the money it's gonna make. Hugh was good but those movies are better in an ensemble.
