LOVED the movie.....strong story line, great action scenes, suspenseful but.......didn't care for the ending! Clearly written to give way for a sequel. Still, I give it 5 stars! So worth the time and money especially if you need a 2 hour escape. Enjoy!

This was an interesting spin on Wolverine's past. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Gambit on screen and I hope Marvel will bring him out of the woodwork more often. When you watch this film you will learn and understand why Wolverine is such a jerk and that you would be too if you had lived his life.
My only gripe about this film is what they did to Dead Pool, that irked my nerves. Other than that, most folks will really enjoy this story.

This was a great movie. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it - it's a great origins story and it had both humor and a tremendous amount of action with great special effects. I have already recommended it to my friends! Definitely a must see if you are an X-Men and Wolverine fan! I hope they make more Origins movies!!!

I absolutely love it!. I am definitely buying the DVD when it comes out... I am hoping that they will have few more of the Origins films with some of other characters to show more background like Xavier and others.

My boyfriend who wanted to see this movie thought the story was predictably weak. I thought it had some scenes that really worked and other scenes that were cliche/cheesy. They tried a little too hard to weak a romance story into an action movie. Some of the scenes looked really fake. I think if you can't make special effects look real, it's best to leave them out. Of course Jackman and Shrieber are great actors as well as newcomer Will i am. It could've been a great movie, but it just missed the mark.

WOW!!! Oh my!...Talk about a great movie! The action, the story, THE BODY!
This movie lets you know how Wolverine came into who he is. We all wanted to know how Wolverine got his claws and now we know.
From the start to the end, I was immersed in the movie. I did not fidget at all. There are movies I have watched, and told my husband that I was bored. This is NOT one of those movies.
Hugh Jackman made the movie, and his body was rock solid beautiful...
One thing you must do when you watch the movie....STAY THROUGH the entire CREDITS!

Excellent - left you wanting more. Can't wait for the next!! Finally an explanation of how it all started. Enjoyed being able to concentrate on Wolverine. Hope we don't have to wait too long for the next X-Men, especially Wolverine. He is what makes them more than interesting.

This was a great movie if you want to see Wolverine do what Wolverine does - fighting, action, swinging his blades, etc. But if you know the comic book series and the previous three movies, then this movie will frustrate you. But, if you like action and are willing to turn your brain off regarding comic book/character accuracy, then you may enjoy this movie.

Maybe I'm just a little too critical, but for a movie to have a sizable budget and a history of decent special effects within the rest of the franchise, this movie was sorely lacking. The CGI looked as if it had been outsourced to a middle-school computer class, and the superimposing of certain scenes (not going to reveal anything about the movie for spoiler's sake) were so blatant that the movie lost depth at times. I'm not one to talk during a movie, but several times I found myself mumbling, "are you serious?" and "so much for quality control". The storyline was decent enough, and the cast was great. I just fear that everything combined wasn't enough to immerse me in the movie.

Best movie in the series. Excellent special effects, great scenery, wonderful acting and Hugh Jackman has never looked better. My husband and I can't wait until the next sequel. When we returned home my son had also gone to see it and highly recommended that we go. He didn't know we were at the movies!

Wow! My family and I really enjoyed this movie. It left me wanting to go home and watch the X-Men series all over again. Great beginning to the Wolverine's story. The action was awesome! The storyline was amazing! Great start to the summer movie battle!

The action scenes in this movie were great, that being said- I would have liked to see some type of chase or action scene involving the "logging" period in the movie. They should have had more explanation in the relationship between the relationship between Victor and Jim. More depth was needed, if they were trying to tell the back story they should have answered more questions. Ryan Reynolds should have had a bigger role in the movie- he was great in the beginning and could have added much needed comic relief... when we see him at the end of the movie his mouth is SEWN SHUT!!!

Absolutely way too violent. We had to get up and leave. I've seen every other movie in the X-Men series and had no problem with the action or violence as it seemed to have a purpose but this movie was just the opposite. Don't take your kids to this one.

I was pleasantly surprised at this movie. I was expecting the usual X-Men setup, which I really enjoy, but this movie was better. This expands on Wolverine's character, has a genuine plot and lots of action. I would recommend this to anyone over the age of 13!
