I loved how this movie wrapped up Wolverine's story. There were some not so interesting parts, and I was not impressed with Wil.I.AM's acting abilities. But Hugh Jackman was great and I'm so glad I went to the midnight showing.

This movie was just bad. Most, if not all, of the stunts in the movie were unbelievable even by "mutant" standards and that's probably due to not-so-good FX. I wouldn't even call them special FX. I don't believe this movie even follows the comic book series. It's like they just tried to piece a story up that would explain the first xmen but that didn't even really work because you have some characters in this movie that don't show in the first xmen.Oh, and how about those 20 seconds of fame for Gambit?That was so hyped and then buzz killed because he was hardly shown in this movie.This movie wasn't worth seeing at midnight. If you're a comic fan don't waste your time but I'm sure you already did.not knowing that it would turn out like this.

dont expect accurate retelling of the comic storyline. action was good, effects were decent. only problem for me was at certain points the cg for his claws were really bad. aside from that, it entertained me and had my attention. so it achieved its purpose. oh, and wait til after the credits.

It was really good. Had some great one liners. Got a little slow in places but it was necessary for the story. Had some great action sequences and the graphics were awesome. I highly recommend the movie.

I knew this movie was going to be bad from the opening scenes with the kids, I just didn't know it was going to be horrible.
For all the grief Republicans and Conservatives give Obama for spending money, the studio execs who greenlit this flick should be dragged out to the studio gates, hung from the ankles and cane whipped by Sean Hannity and Laura Ingram. This was such an egregious waste of money for them to make and for me to spend, that I almost don't believe this country is in a recession.
If you want to see Hugh Jackman give a much better performance, watch the opening sequence for this year's Academy Awards Show.
I just hope that with time and therapy, I will be able to forget about this nightmare...

Tip: Avoid reviews that start with "X-men Origins Wolverine is probably the biggest waste of time I have ever had the mistake to see."
First Off I review this as an action movie, its action scenes are very well done with colorful detail and surrealism that give you the feel your watching the comic in real life. Now You cannot place a fan ship and blame them for story changes, however the action is as close as to comic books as your going to get, to expect more is selfish and unrealistic. For all those who hate on Hugh Jackman, he really takes on the "animal" aspect of wolverine and gives the audience a long waited seriousness not seen in the series.

The movie was excellent. Great action flick. If your a die-hard comic fan, they make the movie enjoyable enough to where you wont complain if its dead on to the comic. Its a lot better than than the third x-men movie. The ending could be a little better but they made it work with the existing storyline. They make the movie suitable for kids and still make it enjoyable for adults alike.

Saw this @ midnight and it was a great ride. Hugh Jackman played the character well--and brought the character to a new level. Sure there were some over the top moments requiring you to suspend belief, but what great action movie doesn't. Our theater was energized and was totally into the movie and responded as the film makers intended--laughing when it was funny and gasping when suspense and fight scenes pushed that response.

Went to the midnight showing... I was disappointed. It was toooo slow at times. Too much unnecessary and non-interesting downtime in between action scenes during the movie, that made it kinda boring. It was just 'OKay' , it should have been better, much much better.

I'll keep it short. This movie was worth the loss of sleep to go to the midnight showing. Great action, great special effects. It really ties the story together and everything about wolverine makes more sense. I wish they would have had more scenes with the special task force that Snyder put together. Overall, this was a great movie.

I thought the film was good. It told Logan's story in a interesing fashion. The film was funnny, had good action, and pretty people to 'ooo & ahh' over. I thought it was better than the last one. it did not feel rushed. Although, I do not think i would see it again in the theater. Its one of those films that seeing for the first time in the theater is okay but you would rather not pay to see it again. Hope you enjoy!

We went to a midnight showing of Wolverine last night. My husband loved the action, and I loved the plot line. We both agreed that the movie went by too fast and we had a lot of lingering questions afterward. When we got home he even looked up most of the things that weren't answered by the movie. If you don't know the X-Men series very well, you'll be left wondering a lot about his relationships and other characters in the movie. Other than that the acting was great. Hugh Jackman looked incredible, and his love interest was one of the most beautiful movie girls I've ever seen. It was a fun night out, very LOUD movie, but worth seeing.

this movie follwed none of the basic comic story lines. It was terrible, there is just so many different reasons why this movie doesnt work if you have ever read a comic. I dont see why it is so hard to just follow the story line of the comics. and they ruined dead pool they basically made him that weird guy from hellboy. Just wait for this to come out on dvd please

BUT if you take it as it is, and dont expect Marvel canon it is a really fantastic movie. Special effects are top notch and the acting is really good too.

Honestly, I was so disappointed with the movie. I thought about walking out in the middle of it. Although, Shriebers persona was good the whole movie was missing something. The only decent scene is when Strikers teams head to the diamond factory other than that everything was just meh!

First off great background, i would have liked to see a little more background other than the opening credits, he wentt from little kid to wolverine. The actions sequences we spectacular, very good. The CGI was horrible in some portions of the movie, especially in the bathroom! I thought the admantium looked way to shiny and fake, but action sequences were great and Deadpool is AWESOME!!

As typical with Hollywood these days they moved the material of this movie to target a more general audience and also provide maximum merchandising saturation. Simply put the story is not horrible but is like the trying to compress Lord of the Rings into one movie. The ORIGIN plot of this should have been more of the meat of the movie, at least a good 1/4 of it instead of being this 3 minute intro peice blending into a montage of James and Victor's crazy adventures.
The effects as expected were absolutely brillant but it was a case of attempting to make up for substance with flash and pizzaz.
Bottom line is the story is good if you are not a fan, If you are a Wolverine fan you are going be really upset with this.

Since I have not seen any of the previous films I did not have any expectations. This is not exactly my kind of movie but it was very well made and the story was good. I especially liked the 'medical developments" part of the movie. I would certainly recommend it for anyone who liked the previous films. My friends did seem to enjoy it and they are fans of the films.

This movie was awful. The CGI was horrid. Half the time his claws looked like they were floating around his hand. The dialogue was sub-par and filled with terrible one liners. The opening scene with the kids was the cheesiest thing ive ever seen. And the rest of the movie was just repeated shots of Jackman growling and flexing his shoulders. I hated it
