Enjoyed the movie. Thought it was what it was supposed to be...entertaining, action-filled popcorn movie to start the Summer off with a bang. Hugh was great as Wolvie, and really liked Gambit as well. Probably would rank this the second best X-Men movie. Better than the third, more entertaining than the first, not up to the story quality of the second. If you like the genre of comic-book based, action flicks, it's definitely worth a see.

Victor is NOT Wolverines brother They teamed up way in the future not by choice
They never refered to wolverine rumnning w C. America in WW2. While being chased he ran into ALPH FLYTE They never once mentioned Victor is Sabretooth It was Sabretooth that assaulted and Killed Silverfox. Dead pool did not have all those powers and doesn't die. Deadpool also had granades and gadgets. Blob was always fat and liquidy and Wolverine never beat him in 2 min.. Gambit is australian not caucasian doesn't say his catch prhrase moneme. Logan does not loose his memory w/ a bullet he loses it during the operation hence causing the flashbacks. The ending at the end credits was the worst of them all. There's alot more but I don't think I can list them all.

Well worth the wait! This movie ties in very well with the other X-Men movies, and does a very good job explaining Wolverine's origin. However, it doesn't follow the comic book version, just like the previous X-Men movies. But, overall, very well done. Great action!!!

I loved the movie. It had enough action and yet helped provide the background about Wolverine that we never got from the 3 X-Men movies.
I simply didn't want it to end. When it ended, particularly with the cliff-hanger, I wanted to turn around, sit down and watch the next installment.
One thing I don't get -- Taylor Kitsch has not seemed to get as much notice as Ryan Reynolds in the preludes to this movie and he is absolutely beautiful and a very fun character. I hope we see more of him!

I loved the special effects. The story was not very original with it's "revenge of a loved one's death" storyline, but it wasn't terrible either. There was a weird thing going on at the very end with Patrick Stewart's face. Kind of bizarre.

This was truly a great movie in terms of action, however what it lacked it seemed to make up for in bad cgi, wait, what? That's right, most of the Cgi, wasn't presentable. There were times in the movie were it was too noticeable, where I almost had to look away. This film was darker than the previous trilogy, however I don't know who to blame, Gavin Hood for his directing, or the unnecessary scenes, i.e. how he gets his "lucky" motorcycle jacket. I'll give this a 3/5 or 6/10 for action, Liev Schreiber's great acting, and the irritable blending of video.

I'm surprised the ratings are so good on here. I can't believe these people saw the same movie I did. I had really high hopes for this movie and I'm a fan of the previous X-men movies except for Last Stand really.
In this instance, I feel like they continued the franchise not because they had a good story to tell but because it would just make money. Too many cliches, incredibly bad CGI (the helicopter sequence looked like a bad SCIFI channel movie), and characters doing things that just didn't make sense. The only way to get studios to stop making movies that extort fans just to make money is by not paying to see movies of this quality.

I give this movie 2 thumbs up. I was afraid that this movie was going to be overly cheesed up but it was not. The plot was easy to follow even if you haven't seen the other X-Men movies and the special cameos in the movies were good too. I was pleased with Gambit (although I was expecting him to be more "cool" in the movie). Other than that, there was not love story to kill the movie and no t&a as in the Watchmen so kids can watch this movie too.

It was a backstory film so if you know anything about Wolverine, then you are just there for the excitement. I thought it was good...but that the ending felt incomplete. I agree with another reviewer in that some characters served no purpose in moving the plot along...just there for the effects. Oh well, There were a couple of things I lauged at although I don't think they were meant to be funny.

I was really excited to see that they stuck with the story in the cartoons. I was thinking that they were changing the story by not making Wolverine lose his memory. That was the whole point of the cartoon, of him trying to find out who he was and where he had come from. The action scenes were great. I will buy this movie when it comes out on DVD. I liked this movie better than the last two of X-Men...can't wait to see what story they tell next.

You will not be disappointed, full of action. Hugh Jackman did an excellent job in portraying Wolverine. In watching the trailers I thought the other characters where going to over shadow the movie, but they didn't. I would of chosen a different person to play Gambit, but that's the only thing that I would change. Great movie!

The movie was entertaining but mediocre at the same time, predictable and it never fully pulled you in. There are a few points where you identify with Wolverine and his plight but they're a bit rare and they don't drive a concern for his character. It's a well made movie, no overly cheesy parts and no botched effects. If your expectations are reasonable you won't be disappointed.
