the movie was okay. my little brother enjoyed it. the ending could have been better and they could have done a better job with editing. in the fight sequences you can clearly see that its not hugh jackman. though i know the truth about filmmaking i would like it if the movie was believeable, especially if i'm going to spend $14. 50 on the ticket alone. i do hope they contiune the story line.

The action was good the story line was lacking. I dont know why the recent movies based on Marvel comics always have the hero fighting some juiced up version of themselves.
Time for the scriptwriters to get more creative.

The beginning was very interesting and informative and explains Wolverine's childhood. For the most part the movie was good but the last part seemed like it was not as well-thought out as the rest of the movie.

In a lot of ways it felt like the producers went through a list of bullet points they had to cover to make it a 'Wolverine movie', then added random story elements until they had filled out the rest of the required running time. A few good moments floating in a sea of meh.

It was a great movie with a lot of action and explained everything I wanted to know about Wolverine. If you don't know anything about X-men its not worth seeing. However, if you think Hugh Jackman is hot, see it.

I don't like the direction this super hero movie takes. By overly humanizing the back story of Wolverine and delving into his emotional psychology and genesis (military program run amok) detracts from the escapism which is the reason I go to these movies. Frankly I don't want to know too much about my super hero, or be reminded how military programs are mismanaged. I say: Skip it unless your a fan of the stars or series.

Ok, so to start this of this best part of this movie was the origin part learning about the origin of some of the xmen including Cyclops was a great plot. With that said there was not the feel of Xmen that the originals had this had more of a drama feel to it. There was not that big of a bad guy type situation to solve in this. Instead... Bad guy kills girl, man go nuts and kill bad guys, kill alive, then dead again. Really no excitement to it no fear of what is going to happen next.

I went to this movie with my wife, and we both loved this movie. it was filled with action that we expected from x-men, and filled in on wolverines original powers, but it did stray a little from how he was made. if you watch the cartoons and payed attention, they strayed a little, and used liquid instead of blocks of antimantium. and the professor said they found him at the other laboratory instead of the island, but it was a really good movie, and i was happy to see gambit.

This movie rocked with a lot of action from start to finish. It's more intense than all the previous X-men movies and gives more of a background into Wolverine and how he came into being. It also answered a lot of questions about his memory. There is some adult content and the scenes where he is injected with the metal is very intense. It's definately not for children. There is something interesting after the credits, so stick around til the very end. I loved it!

Having seen all of the X-Men movies, I found this one to be a bit boring. Sure it had moments of excitement but it just didn't jump out at me. Even my 11 year old son felt that it wasn't as exciting as he would have wanted it to be.

I agree with other reviews in that mr jackman had a wonderful performance and the story answered a lot of questions about wolverine keeping in line with the other movies with the exception of sabertooth's storyline. However I did notice that as with the other movies it didn't quite follow the original comic book storyline in that there was no mention of his Japan interaction, His relationship with Yuriko (deathstrike) or the time he worked with steve rodgers during wwII. You could say that this movie only covered the basic history and didn't go in depth of the character. It did easily explain the memory loss, but that also left more questions unanswered.

I enjoy all of the X-Men movies. I thought Hugh Jackman did a wonderful job as Wolverine, even better than the previous ones. The storyline was pretty much in line with the comics except for SaberTooth. It was okay, but I was expecting a little more. There was a lot of action but I think it could have been better.

Lots of questions answered from the previous versions. Great storyline. Fantastic special effects. Cant wait for the DVD so that I can watch it again and catch all the little things that I probably missed that were hidden in the storyline or characters.

Well, it sorta stuck to the comics and sorta didn't. That being said, I thought some of the action sequences were good, but it was inconsistent with the first movie as far as Sabretooth's character and the story seemed rather disconnected at times and some of the other actors in the movie did not give great performances.
Hugh Jackman has always been the best choice for Wolverine, I just thought the movie could have been much more.

It was okay, I like some of the story line, it was drawn out. I like the first two X- Men movies better. Something was missing, maybe Magneto :) I will continue to support the trilogy and Hugh Jackmen was excellent.

Hugh Jackman's portrayal of Wolverine is right in line with his previous films. This time he's even more "in shape". The story line fills in some, but not all, of the gaps from the previous films such as how he became Wolverine infused with Adamantium with a surprising twist to what was actually expected.
Overall a solid 4 Star rating out of a possible 5 Stars.
