I'd give it an 8/10. That being said, I thought the movie was as good as it could be within the limitations of a PG-13 movie, but it needed to be rated R. There needed to be a bit more "graphic content" in my opinion. Another thing i noticed was that Wolverine's claws were a bit too fake looking. Also, "Weapon XI" (don't want to spoil much) should have been more like he was in the comics. And Sabertooth should have become more and more animalistic as the movie went on. I don't know, maybe I'm being a bit picky.

I saw this movie with my daughter and son a few days ago. The action was great. The back-story really adds to the whole series. The cinematography was crisp. We loved the film and walked away with lots to compare and talk about.

Loved this movie. The action scenes were excellent but the actual story of his beginings and how it all ties into the X-Men trilogy was exceptional.

the whole movie was a non-stop thrill ride!!. it revealed logan's true past and how he forgets it. the effects were ofcourse GREAT!!. never would have thought that Wolverine and Sabertooth were...well you'll find out. i would truly recommend this movie to any marvel fans..especially the x-men fans and die hard wolverine fans

It was helpful to find out wolverine's background since i never read the comic books based on his origin. Alot of action, of course. It will be fun to see what's coming up in the next installments of xmen.

This is was great. The action, new characters, it works. I truly enjoy watching the beginning of Wolverine legend. The story answered a lot of unanswered questions. I am now looking forward to the up coming trilogies. If you are a true X-men fans you will enjoy this.

This was a very good blending of both the movie universe and the comic book universe. I found many elements to be easily recognizable from the Weapon X series that came out in Marvel Comics Presents in the 80's. It was also easy to follow if you had only seen the movies, and not read the comics.

It's not the best X-Men movie ever, and in fact it's kind of hollow, but it is entertaining. Liev Scrieber's Sabretooth is worth seeing the movie for alone. As a Deadpool fan I'm not happy with how he was portrayed in this film, but they can always make up for it later on. Great action, some cool effects, make this movie the perfect way to kick off the summer movie season.

The story is a departure from the comics, so some hard core fans might be disappointed. However, I was pleased with the story and even more pleased with the selection of sexy men to look at. I enjoyed the drama between Wolverine and his brother Victor. However, I found the story with Stryker and the special military ops to be very predictable. The movie starts strong but loses me with the whole ultimate weapon thing.
Despite my qualms with the story, the action scenes are AWESOME and again the men look super hot. I would reccommend checking it out in the theater just for that.

Very well done, Hugh jackman proves to be the best wolverine we could ask for, Ryan renolds was beyond great (wish we had seen him more), Gambit was everything we could have hoped (except his accent was'nt often herd), and even sabertooth was amazing (I liked him more than logan by the end of it). I'm glad the director didn't mess this one up like the last x-men movie. Seeing well choriagraphed fights, fun characters, and a great story, which were all familiar with, left me begging for more.

The laws of physics don't apply in this film. You will see Wolverine cutting through an armored vehicle and helicopter blades with his metal claws. So what? That's what we paid for and it delivers. The story is light, but it moves and I was interested throughout the movie. However, in retrospect, it was hogwash. Oink.

Wolverine was not the best of the X-Men movies. However, it does not disappoint. It is an action packed thrill ride. If you can get over some of the cheezier moments(does Logan really need to scream into the sky when he discovers Kayla?), then it is well worth watching. If you happen to be a lady that isn't into comics or X-men in general. Don't fear, there is enough eye candy and love story to make you happy as well.

If you're looking for a comic book action movie, this one has it. If you're looking for an original comic book movie, this one doesn't have it. It's definitely a good movie, but it doesn't seem to have the punch that Iron Man or the Dark Knight had. I'd put it at the same level as the most recent Incredible Hulk… worth seeing, but I probably won't rush out for the DVD.

It was pretty good the action in the beginning and at the very end were good. Some of the story in the middle was a little draggy but the action was awesome and I kinda like the theory that there was so much more to Wolverine than just metal and cigars.

I thought the plot needed more work, but the movie did have some good scenes. Loved deadpool, seeing professor x at the end was entertaining as well. Honestly think the other movies had better CGI than this one. Hopefully the next one will be done better and do magneto justice.

People are too critical of this movie I wanted to have fun, I had fun watching this movie I found it more entertaining than the other X-man movies. So what if they changed some of the backround big deal. The action scenes were good the movie didnt drag really and there wern't corny parts. Hugh Jackman did a bang up job. The movie was good overall, however the pace was not consistent. It lacked the energy to keep you on the edge of your seat as an action film should. The slower story line parts were too slow and long without enough action to keep you interested. Also I'm not sure who was the special effects company but some parts were not done well and looked like he was in front of a green screen. A person into comics and the X-men story will probably not be satsfied with the film, but someone without any knowledge of the characters would be ok with it. Finally, Wolverine needs to be more angry and violent than what was shown.

After reading some poor reviews, I went in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. I'm not a Marvel Comics purist -- my sole requirement is to be entertained, and that I was, from start to finish. The movie never dragged and it also had a nice touch of humor in spots.
