This movie answered all the unanswered questions about Logan/Wolverine. Very cool special effects and plot twists that kept you watching. The partial nudity (Hugh's behind) was not bad either :)

The story line was good and Hugh was fantastic again as wolverine. It was great to see all the other X-men characters we haven't seen in the previous movies. The down side was it was awful CG. His claws didn't move when his hands did and the bath room scene was one of the worst special effects scenes I've seen for a blockbuster movie. It feels like they were rushed to get it ready for the release date. Again, good movie but awful effects!

My wife and I were excited enough about this movie's concept that we decided it was "date worthy" (while the neighbors watched the kids). We weren't disappointed. Hugh Jackman was good, as always. The plot could have provided a little more character development (vs action)but overall seemed to take a balanced approach that showed us how "Wolverine" came to be. We're looking forward to more.

I was a bit worried going into see this movie. I thought the movie was great but a bit rushed. Its funny, has some good action sequences, and the extra characters are a plus. Everyone in this is great, just wish they had expanded a bit more on some of the extra characters. Oh well, that's what X-Men Origins: Gambit or X-Men Origins: Deadpool are for.

Hugh was nice to look at...through the WHOLE movie. The overall movie was okay. The special affects were a bit much and I wouldn't pay to watch it again in the theatres. I liked it though if that makes sense.

If anyone was a fan of the first 3 x-men movies, then you're guaranteed to be dissapointed. Terrible graphics, terrible story, terrible/pointless scenes. biggest letdown for the biggest fans. Not gonna lie though, it gave me and my friends something to make fun of all weekend. Would see it again just to point out even more rediculous scenes. I really hope any sequel to this is done by different people. Seriously not a good movie!

X-Men Origins: Wolverine attempted to do what few movies can: justify the reason the hero behaves the way he does. In this case, they're actually trying to justify the actions of two iconic Marvel characters: Wolverine and Sabretooth. I'm not sure they fully succeeded, but it was awfully fun to watch them try.
The acting was great all around, including Hugh Jackman as Wolverine who’s got the furrowed brow down to a science. The movie delivered some action, although one sequence suffered from shoddy CGI work, which is surprising. Movies like this rely on CGI to fill in the gaps.
Overall, the movie is strong and a welcome addition to the X-Men canon. It's worth seeing if only to know why Wolverine wears that ugly motorcycle jacket.

I love action movies and this was one that makes it to my list. This movie summed it up showing us where Wolverine got started. I purely enjoyed this movie. It ended right where the first X-men movie started. Loved it. Go and see it.

I was super excited about this movie for months but I'm glad I waited a few days before seeing it. Hearing all the bad reviews made me lower my expectations and I think I was able to enjoy it more. I'm glad I saw it in the theater but I'm also glad I didn't go out of my way to see the midnight showing.

Most of the other reviewers and I agree that they tried to put to much into the movie. However to me it also seemed a little forced into tying in with the other movies and the end of the movie left me with the remark "is that it". There seemed to be a lot that they left out to make it a movie and instead it felt more like watching a series of short stories. On the lighter side it was a good movie to watch if you like x-men and wolverine and I would watch it again. The action sequences were great and the effects were superb. I also do agree with others that Gambit should have had more appearances during the movie. For a big character film I feel it was kind of lacking in effect, although it did turn out to be a decent film.

I didn't think this movie was all that bad, it just didn't pull me in like I thought it would. I thought some of the special effects were not as good as they could have been. I expected so much more and felt a little let down. If you are a fan of the X-Men series you probably will enjoy it otherwise just wait for the DVD.

The action was ill placed peaking in the beginning and dragging in a lot of places. It was Good don't get me wrong but it was not a SUMMER BLOCKBUSTER. I wish it had come out at a different time, sometime were i would not have expected the edge of my seat action that i love about the comics and the previous movies.

Awesome film. Great tie-in to the rest of the X-men movies.
The special effects were top-notch as well as the characters.
I do wish that Ryan Reynolds had a bigger role in the film as I like his sense of humor and his actions sequences (remember Blade Trinity).
Again, a must see if you like action and the X-men saga.

I'll start by saying I'm not a comic book aficionado, but I do enjoy movies such as Batman Begins, Dark Knight, Sin City, X-Men, etc... I'm even looking forward to the new Star Trek movie even though I never really watched the show.
I thought Wolverine was very entertaining, but they could have done a lot more with it. I mean, the good parts were very cool (i.e. the fight scenes, special effects, Wolverine's transformation...) but it seemed like there weren't enough of them, and the movie was pretty anticlimactic. Like, when it ended, I wasn't sure what was happening next... And Gambit's an awesome character - why the heck didn't we get to see more of him / Tim Riggins? Hopefully in the next installment...

Since Wolverine is my favorite X-Men character, this is by far the best X-Men movie. The storyline does divert from the comic book on a few things but all in all a great film with amazing effects and fight scenes.

The big problem was they tried to fit too much into the time they had...the brother's looking out for each other and yet wanting to kill each other was well done...more time with the team on missions would have made this movie great, a true stand-out I think if there is a way to make a wolverine sequel there is great potential for that being an amazing movie. All said this is a must see!

The movie was real good, but they could have done other things that would have made it great. The story line could have gone a little more into Wolverine and Sabertooth's lives. The next movie I think should continue from where this one left off.

i loved it. i acually saw it twice this weekend. the action was great. the relationship between logan and victor was loaded and intense. there were several scenes of surprise and the bits of comic relief were well placed. my son (12)enjoyed it and my daughter (13) wants to see it too.

I'm a big Wolverine fan, and his excellent portrayal of the character in the X-Men movies thus far has made me very happy.
This movie also did not disappoint. They did an outstanding job of helping those unfamiliar with the character understand better why he is the way he is. GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!
