The graphics were great, the storyline was true to the book and what we all know it to be. However, I thought because Jim Carrey played this character it would have been lighter, I thought the kids in the movie were a little frightened. My son kept jumping and covering his eyes at some points. It was just too dark for my liking espeacially geared towards kids for the holiday season

I think I've seen every version of this tale and seeing it in 3D is by far the best. Kind of went off track on the story, but all-in-all, a very good movie. Loved the snow falling and it looked like you could just put your hand out and let it fall on your palm. It also felt like you were actually flying over London during the flying scenes. Loved it!!

From start to finish this "A Christmas Carol" was a true telling of the Dickens' story with an overall old world look and superb performances. It is an absolute feast for the eyes and ears, especially in 3D. In the past Jim Carrey had not impressed me but after his incredibly passionate performance as the miser Scrooge I am quite impressed. I believe this is a must see for the holidays.

The 3D technology is the best I have ever seen, particularly the wide panoramic shots of a 19th century London. Since the story faithfully follows past movies, I feel the only way to truly appreciate what this movie has to offer is by seeing it in a theater; stadium seating preferred, or even better iMax.

Went and saw this movie with my boyfriend. The 3D special effects were amazing!! Did a great job following the book. Only problem I had with it was that it was dark. Even during the Christmas past during the good times in Scroodge's life, it was dark. Truly recommend it!!

My son and I went to see this 11-15 in 3-D after it was recommended to us by my parents who saw it on a recent Disney Cruise. Excellent retelling of a classic story done only the way Disney can. You must see it in 3-D to enjoy the entire movie.

I loved the movie! It was not the feel good Christmas movie I expected, but a wonderful version of the original story by Charles Dickens. However, I think its a bit heavy for the younger viewers and would not recommend taking anyone under 7 or 8 to see it.

Jim Carrey in Dickens 'A Christmas Carol' was just pure awesome. The effects done by Disney (probably Pixar) were so authenic it seem like we were back in Old England. the level of detail in the animation was the best i have ever seen. the street scenes and the buildings were amazingly lifelike. This is my favorite christmas movie of all time so i was not disappointed. the 3D was awesome. the only thing i can say negatively about this movie is to be careful with young children watching this movie. the ghost of Jacob Marley and the ghost of Christmas Future scared my six year old. Besides that it gets an A+.

I like this story, and have the 1951 version on DVD and watch it every year. This movie followed the conventional story pretty closely. I really enjoyed the 3-D, and thought it was well done. I didnt like the Ghost of Christmas future sequence, it seemed rather ridiculous.

I have read the book every year since I was a child, so naturally when it came out I wanted to take my grandchildren to see it. They loved it as much as I did and we saw it in 3D which make it even better. I don't think I've been to a movie that I've enjoyed this much in years. The 3D effects were used judiciously, not overpowering the story itself. The tapestry of mid nineteenth century London set the mood from the very beginning. The voice characterizations of Carrey, Oldman, Firth , et. al., make this a truly marvelous piece of art for the whole family .

My 8 and 10 year olds thoroughly enjoyed this movie. This particular version, although modern in its technology, remained faithful to the story (which I've read) and the many lessons it has to offer.The acting was delicate and insightful. Note: I would ABSOLUTELY recommend seeing this in 3D. I'd also read a version of the story to your kids/give them a rundown so they can better understand and appreciate the movie.

Took my 6 year old daughter along with my lady friend. All three of us enjoyed it very much. My daughter was so into the movie that she was talking out loud as the movie progressed. I thought it was well done with the 3-D special effects. Great show!!!
