I own all previous versions of Dicken's classic "A Christmas Carol." I am excited to add this new interpretation to my collection! It was Jim Carrey, but not the "too over the top" Jim Carrey. Visually wonderful and detailed with plenty of action. Enjoyed it immensely!

I thought this movie was very good. Though it would be scary for younger viewers. The ghosts could be very scary, there was a 7 year old boy sitting in front of me crying. The affects where great.

Well done and entertaining throughout. The 3-D effects were captivating and consistent the entire movie. We took our 7 and 9 year old kids and they loved it! Although I would recommend getting kids familiar with the story prior to seeing the movie as there were lots of questions from them as to what's going on and why but nonetheless they stood up and clapped at the end. Loved it!

I enjoyed this movie; however, my 4 year old hated it, my 7 year old was scared, and my 10 year old thought it was weird. It was very dark. They could have gone with a fun version but they chose to stick with the book - which was fine for me - but a little dark for kids . . . .

After reading less than flattering reviews in the newspaper, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this movie. The writers stuck with the Dickensian dialogue and were true to the original story. Yes, there was a little Disney twist here and there, which elicited some chuckles from the audience and added some light-heartedness to what really is a sombre plot. Some parts may be a little intense for small children but nothing is terribly frightening. Overall, it was a good introduction to the Christmas season. I recommended seeing it in 3D because that added a little extra sparkle to the experience.

A great classic story done with great imagination. The detail and movement was done very well. I loved every minute of the movie. I suggest seeing it in 3d. If you have small children there are parts that may scare them. However, they do a decent job at diluting the scary expereience when the parts come to past. I would no doubt see this movie over and over but to save money I'll wait for the DVD to be released and buy it for myself and others. Do see this movie if you are a fan of this great Dickens classic.

Saw it in 3D with my wife and we were thrilled from the start. The story was classic with true Christmas meanings. The graphics were the best every and simply overwhelming. Imagemovers Digital showed off their skills for 90 minutes.
