Ok.So im not the biggest fan of scary movies because i get scared easily, but this movie made my nights even more difficult, I had to sleep with my light on that night. It was scaryyy, I was holding on to my boyfriends shoulder and covering my face at the end of the movie. Loved the movie, Loved the suspension, Loved the ending it was creepy. Watch out for Katie cause shes out in the loose in San Diego! Overall i would definetely recommend this movie, perfect for Halloween Night.

It freaked me right the **** out!!!! I went into "Kenny Mode" With my hoodie all zipped up. It was amusing at parts in the beginning, but then it quickly moved into frightening. I'm glad I saw it, but I am still freaking out. All those sounds I heard before that seemed so normal now give me chills. I don't know if I could see this again because I'd probably lose more sleep because of it. EXCELLENT MOVIE.

Coming from a guy who takes a lot to get scared in movies I must say this is an exception. Starts off slow but only to get you sucked in the story but as soon as those nights start, I swear everyone in the theatre was huddled together holding their breath until you saw daylight which meant to exhale. The last half of the movie is bone-chilling, goosebump inducing, hair-rising freaky scary asss shiit! it will stay with you for a while. Its been a long time since a movie made me want to just look away from the screen, just couldn't believe what was happening. I recommend it to everyone who is looking for a good example of a horror movie and for those who plan on having trouble sleeping lol. Must see!

I have watched all types of horror movies for over 30 years, and I can say that this movie is something special. Very scary, very suspenseful, very terrifying! I actually was seeing the images when I laid down to go to sleep! The scariest movie of all time is, of course, The Exorcist, however, Paranormal Activity is definitely in the top ten. Unique, engaging, and riveting. I can't stop thinking about this movie! I really want to see it again. I got chills several times. Not for those easily spooked, but well worth the hype and wait. This movie was tons of fun. The sheer low budget makes it a make or break film, and it makes it. The found footage approach helps the audience to relate to the couple whose house is haunted by unknown forces.
The house itself is a character, we see it in the day and night and we dread every corner that is shrouded in darkness. This film is a fun time at the movies and a suspenseful roller coaster. Highly recommended.

Whoa! This movie is genuinely scary. I thuroughally enjoyed every second of the film. Connection with the characters, no music dubbs or screeching sound effects, just the camera, the charaters, the demon, the house, and you completely brought into the eyes of the camera and into the house with the haunting. Thrilling and nerve-racking, my wife couldn't have me leave her side for the whole next day because she was scared to be alone in any room of our home. This is worth seeing as many times as possible with huge theater crowds. True blue horror movie. Not a lot of these in this class. Perfect film!

Seriously if you get the ooportunity to see this film, don't mis out! It's an experience that will leave you talking about if for days, as I was and everyone in the nyc subway train heading home. Just goes to show that the interest in paranormal subjects will always be there. I believe in it and after this movie, you will too. Thanks Paramount, the best movie I've seen in a while, I hope you rake it all in and give the actors a raise seriously! Gabe

It has really been a long time since i have seen a horror movie that has made me cover my eyes or let alone make my palms sweat. Come to think of it, before this movie i had never seen a horror movie that made my palms sweat. The experience of watching this movie in a theater with a audience was truly a treat. The tension and anticipation could be felt throughout the whole auditorium. I consider myself a horror movie buff, this one is a def. must see.....it really will keep u up at night....it definitely did for me...
