A movie that can make me jump so hard that a trickle of p goes down my leg definitely gets 5 stars and an A+ on my book. Holy smokes! This movie really gets into your head without you even noticing and plays on your most inner fears. Never have I been so into a movie like this one. You could hear a pin drop in the theater! Never has a movie made me physically shake once it was over. I'm rarely ever unnerved by a "horror" movie, but this movie made me afraid to fall asleep the night I watched it. It's gotta be the scariest movie I've seen over my entire life span, and I'm a huge horror fan so that says a lot. This movie is a definite MUST watch, 100% highly recommended. I suggest getting there atleast an hour early though, the line tends to get very long. :D

In all honesty, I have NEVER been scared of any movie growing up as a child to this day at 19 yrs old. My little sister said she wanted to watch it, so I bought tickets for her and I. Not thinking it was going to be that good. I was definitely wrong. This movie is the scariest movie I've ever seen. I highly recommend this movie to anyone and everyone. IF any other movie has scared you, this one will top it.

I believe the movie all in all was good. The ending made the movie,to me, not so believable. Definitely had some scary parts. On a scale of 1-10. I will easily give it a 8 on the scary. Nightmares? No... But you will definitely be looking over your shoulders for a while. Trying to figure out what the differents noises, sounds, and shadows( movements) are...LoL Go See It. You WILL Enjoy!

This was a great movie! HIghly recommend it to anyone out there if you love scary movies. I was on the edge of my seat. The only thing that I didn't like was getting dizzy from all the movement of the camera. Must see!

It's all in the realism, that is what scares the most; not for one minute you stop believing that it is a real couple in that strange situation. I love the fact that it took very little to create such an eerie atmosphere, meaning that there was no gore, no mind-blowing special effects at all and no graphic or detailed visuals of any type of creature, but it still managed to drive us all crazy. It left me absolutely scarred. I saw it last night and I was only able to sleep 3 hours because at the minimum peep I was already imagining a thousand things.
It was greatly done! Great actors, great script and great ending!

Wow! can I just say this was the scariest film of all time! I still can't sleep right. Suspense and Horror! I speak for everyone when I say I was at the edge of my seat the entire movie! The guy next to me said OMG like 20 times. The actors were great they didn't seem fake at all. I was thinking the whole time... I have to go home alone. I ended up sleeping at my friends house of how scared I was to be home alone. And I make sure my feet are covered when I go to sleep. I had chills all over my body the entire movie. Everyone has got to see this movie! I'm not sure I would see it again but I highly recommend.

This movie made me soo scared at the end I didnt want to look anymore cause I didnt want to know what was gonna happen. I like that it was scary due to what you where seeing and not getting scared because of any loud volumed music or thump, It was because the actual movie was scary! Great actors, though people said it started off slow (which it did) I actually liked it because it made the movie more real I think this movie was just crazy, IT WAS REALLY SCARY AND WORTH YOUR MONEY, But trust me I will NEVER in my life see this movie EVER AGAIN it freaked me out too much and thats to say I dont scare easily, The only cons are motion sickness from cam and not being able to sleep at night.

This film was worth every bit of mileage I put on my car and the extra $3 I paid to see it. Of all the horror films I've seen in the past 10 years, this one has got to be the most frightening one I have seen. They just don't make them like this anymore. The director knew how to build suspense and get the audience to listen. The entire theatre was feeling the same terror I was at the moments the film intended. The actors are very believable and the activities occuring during the film are so unpredictable. It reminded me why we are afraid of the dark...

I stood in line for over an hour, stayed up until Midnight to see it, dealt with a mob to get inside the theater, and would do it all over again! Nothing close to Blair Witch. After the slow start, a suspense packed thriller! Can't wait to see it again.

I stood in line for an hour to see this. I usually don't like horror movies but this one was awesome! No blood and gore, just intense suspense and very real. The camera motion gave me a headache but it was worth it. Definately worth going to see.

I drove two hours to see this movie. It was worth every bit of effort I put in to see it.
I LOVED it. it was scary and usually I think horror movies now aren't scary. This movie honestly scared the mess out of me, I haven't been able to sleep without the tv being on since I've seen it.
the camera work made me sick, but I think it was from where I was sitting in the theater. I tell everyone I know to go see this, and I hope they release it on DVD. =]

Started off a little slow, and aside from the camera movement, (motion sickness) it be awesome. But for what its worth, the actors seemed real, felt like there was no script, a natural sense of reality....It had comedy, suspense, and of course edge of your seat horror. Could the movie have been better yes, but for the fact that this was just a film that was just being made at home with no real editing just sort of raw footage it was Excellent! This is what you call real natural suspenful horror.....I would so see it again, but i still dont thik id be able to watch it alone, at home nor in the dark....So if you want chills up and down your spine, and left wondering if your home may be haunted...then you have to watch this movie..

This film was fantastic, it was also incredibly terrifying. The depiction of the paranormal physical happenings were horrifying. Both believers and non-believers alike seem to find common ground with this mind bender. This movie was excellent. I was so excited when I heard the move was coming to Houston after I and many others demanded it. Everyone should see this movie! Genuinely scary movies are sadly hard to come by these days, but this film is the real deal. The whole theater screamed at the top or our lungs at the end. Go see it!

I'm a horror film fanatic! So when I saw the trailer I was very excited to see it. I was very disappointed. The trailer was very deceiving and all their scariest moments were in the trailer itself and I felt like I was just watching and waiting for those scary scenes to pop up.
Maybe I have a high standards for horror movies, but nonetheless I know what's scary and this was't it. The ending was predictable and yes it was a little freaky but definitely did not leave any impression on me.
I would be embarrassed to recommend this movie to my friends. The ending was the best part of the movie, but I'm sure you can find that ending somewhere on the internet and get your fix for this movie that way.

This was a great movie! i love horror movies and really never get affected by them- until i saw Paranormal Activity. it plays on mind on the fact that you cant actually see who or what is doing this. very scary- and very good movie! only downfall was feeling a little sick from all the moving around of the camera. other that that- one of the best!!

Movie was long and slow and the unstill hand of the camera and the shaking throughout the movie made 2 of my friends sick.If your going to sit in the front rows and you get motion sickness GOOD LUCK!! The movie could have been alot shorter. It did have some good scary parts but for the most part its was was over hyped.
