While I didn't think this was the "scariest movie made in the last 10 years," it certainly had everything that makes a fantastic film. It doesn't give in to the Hollywood bunk of uber-violence, too many "jump out" moments, or cliche dialogue. It was smart about how it scares you, which was impressive. By the last hour, you pretty much remain intensely on edge. Four people puked in our theater...I'm not kidding. I strongly recommend this film.

The couple in this movie had great chemistry which made it all the more realistic. I've read reviews that compared it to "The Blair Witch Project," but there is no comparison. This was very well thought out from beginning to end. Go see it!

Compared to Blair Witch since it's release...I see nothing Blair Witch about it...nice concept but that movie was not put together well...Now this one...yeah I was impressed, put together meticulously...the detail, the fear, the thoughts you had drifting in your mind as you headed home afterwards...yeah they did the job they set out to do....Creepy and the scariest part is...it's possible. Creapiest movies so far. The intense of this movie has you holding on to your chair. It just gets more intriguing as the movie goes along. Things that maybe you do not believe they exist, well they do. Too bad she waited too long to consult a demoniologist. All in all I loved this movie I dont know if I would be able to watch it again thats how creaped out I am but I will definitely reccomend it. This movie for being so short felt like it was over 2 hours. It is boring and the characters are both annoying, you really don't care what happens to either one. I have to say I was really afraid to see the movie based on the reviews. Unfortunately I was disappointed it wasn't scary I kept preparing myself to keep from screaming but nothing "screamable" ever happened.

This may be the scariest movie out in a long time! I actually screamed out loud at the end and didn't sleep at all afterwards!!!! Although it is a lot of footage, when you get to the scary it pays off! The acting was great and there was allot of witty dialog. Great movie!

This is definitely one of the best scary movies in a long time. It's not blood and guts that look faker than barney it's psychological intenseness that has you on the edge of your seat the entire time. Very rarely is there a "horror" movie that freaks me out or makes me jump any more. Blood and gore was the standard for scary movies...until now. Not only did I jump out of my seat several times, I couldn't sleep a wink after we got home. I spent a lot of the movie with my eyes wide and my mouth hanging open in shock, not to mention the funny factor. The main characters were funny in their day-to-day banter...the boyfriend was a riot! One word to describe it? Dread is a word that comes to mind. Despite the sometimes shaky cam, this movie was AWESOME! I would recommend this movie to anyone looking for a serious fright!

This movie uses "Found film" very well in it's favor, it isn't laden with heavy cgi effects and offers a convincing experience. The slow build up of events provides the viewer with suspense and somewhat feeling of urgency, you are forced into a impatient state and become anxious to learn what is too come. With this movie they took something we most all experience and exploit it. I suggest an optimistic mind when going to see this movie. Your own fears is what makes the best out of it.

This film has set a new expectation for fear. We no longer dabble in monsters and goblins. It just doesn't scare us because of the lack of realism. But, ghosts and demons are a new fear, as it taps into the possibility of reality. I've never been so scared in my life because of a movie. The initial slowness keeps you longing for the next big fright, and soon enough you start to think...man, I'm not ready for this! It was a well played card by the director. Frightfests now have a new standard to adhere to.

I STILL can't sleep at night after watching this movie! I could barely watch the last 15 minutes of it I was soo scared! It is a low budget movie but for a good reason...it blew me away! It seems so real and it has funny parts too! I have lived in a haunted house before and this portrays a lot of the stuff that actually happened to me but not to this extent. A DEFINITE must see for scary movie goers! There was even a girl crying in the theater at the end of the movie she was so scared! NO JOKE!

ok i looved the movie..it was seriously freaky..but do not watch it with a huge crowd if you can avoid it..the movie is at its best with the quiet tension and spooky atmosphere..which cannot be held onto when there are ppl giggling and screaming for no reason..excellent movie..but i would have preferred to watch it at home with my hubby in the dark..where are the theatre attendants is what i wanna know!

I thought this movie was so good. It was so real, original, and just great!!!! I haven't seen a movie this good for years that I actually jumped out of my seat.. The best part about the movie besides being so realistic, is that this movie didn't need any type of nudity to make it good. Now and days you can't see a movie without nudity and all i have to say is this movie was great!!!! I came home and i couln't even sleep. I would love to go see it again and I would definitly reccommend this to anybody I know as I'm doing now. I cant wait to buy this movie....... overall rating if possible 10 stars!

This movie is just what I was waiting for. The scary movies that have been made in the last couple years have been pretty lame. Paranormal Activity is the scariest movie with an ending that will blow your mind......

This movie had me hunched in my seat hands over the mouth intrigued the entire movie...the end is the best and most scariest. Had nightmares was wellworth it! Would so see it again!
