I wanted to like this movie & was very excited to watch it, but I was so bored during it. The girl was too over dramatic & not a very good actress at all, & the boy made ya hate him way to early in to it. So it wasn't fun to watch when you can't stand the people acting in it. Okay so it wasnt the best movie ever nor was it scary, but I couldnt believe it had been the whole hour and 39mins when I left the theater. It was very Blair Witch-ish but they pretty much tell you that in the previews. I definitely wouldnt recommend to a friend looking for scary, but for a okay movie ... have at it.

I am a huge horror/scary movie buff & I'm always looking for something to scare me, but this definitely didn't do it. The movie was interesting but I felt like walking out in the first half of the movie cuz it's a waste of time. last half of the movie was ok & last few minutes were great. If only the whole movie was that way. *sighs* I went with a friend of the family who is 14-15 & he was scared, but it just didn't do it for me. If you're a horror/scary movie fan looking for a good scare, then no, this movie is not for you, but if you are an average person who gets scared easily & you have a vivid imagination, then yes, this is for you. They really should've & could've done a lot more to really scare people even with a small budget.

I thought that this was not your typical scary movie. It plays with your mind especially if you believe in the paranormal. It has moments where it can get slow but the scenes at night make the movie. I would totally go see it again and again!

I wasn't expecting much from this "movie" and I got much less. I give it no stars but that rating is not available. What an utter disgrace for this trash to be shown in theaters. I guess there is no shame. Amateurish seesaw-like camera work, poor edits, barely discernible audio and pure boredom waiting for something to happen. This was not the typical "horror movie" type of scary. It was, in my opinion, more of a reality-creepy kind of scary. Anyone who has seen or at least entertains the possibility of demonic activity will easily enjoy the spirit of this film. Obviously low budget, but very well done.

I'm 54 and have seen many horror movies. Even Blair Witch Project is better than this and I didn't think that was scary. I could have made this move with a camera, a house, some heavy shoes for stomping sounds, a computer with appropriate software, a mannequin, an air puffer to blow the sheets, and some creative marketing. If this movie cost 15,000 to make, I don't know where. If you really want to watch it wait til it hits blockbuster and rent it for $2. There were 8 people in the audience and it was quiet as a church the whole time. Nothing. Even on a big screen this wasn't scary.

I have always loved a good scary movie. I have not seen a good one in so long I almost forgot that they exist! Tonight I sat in a theater with a good freind and had the scare of a lifetime. I jumped, I crouched, I even hid my face. But the true tell is that I actually screamed out twice! I HAVE NEVER DONE THAT! I left the theater feeling my skin crawl and my back was killing me for how stressed out I was. Only annoying quality: the two girls in the the front of the threater who were reduced to tears! i couldn't wait to see it ......i have been watching scary movies since i was born my first vhs movie was poltergiest .... so i couldnt wait to see this one i do have to say that i almost walked out .......very slow start and the camera work that keeps me on the edge of my seat was not that great but then something changed and the movie rocked my world .....i love low budget films that just nail it i was shook when i got home my boyfriend and i had trouble sleeping!!!!!! i never get that spooked (well it takes alot to spook me like that ) also when the movie ended everyone in the theater just sat there until they came to clean the theater ....awesome movie keep em coming

Overall I was quite pleased with this film. The two main characters were very believable. The two supporting characters were awful. I would have suggested using a psychologist rather than a psychic and maybe delving a bit deeper into the "relationship" between Katie and the "unseen visitor". I was happily surprised by the special effects considering the movie's budget. I would like to have seen this film expanded a bit more, but overall, I was pleased. I haven't slept well since I saw it.

The commercials and previews claimed it to be the scariest movie ever. It could have been if there was such a thing. I don't scare easy but i did jump and get startled when I was supposed to. They were great with the build up and the effects were nearly flawless. The home movie shooting aspect was great which added to the thrill. I would definately own this movie but my husband would never see it agian in the theatre... motion sickness lol. I am still left on the quest to find the ultimate scarey movie that will keep me up with the lights on. I was disappointed that this wasn't the one but happy that I can search some more :)

This movie was great, up until the end. Throughout the whole movie you are intrigued, but then it all comes to a sudden hault and you are questioning it all. What you have seen and was it all worth your time.

0 STARS. If you want to waste your money on this movie go for it. Acting sucks also. You can see the girl almost laughing in certain scenes where she's supposed to be really scared. Really predictable and NOT SCARY !
Watch any other movie except this one!!!

This is an example of how you can make a great film without lots of money and stardom by following basic fundanemtals. A great story great imagination and using simple film techniques to make and awesome suspenseful film. I agree that it starts out a little slow but that just contributes to the films tension and scare factor later. This is the best scary film I have ever seen.

Inane, boring, repetitive, and so NOT scary. Big whoop, so the doors open/close and some fat chick has been "haunted by a demon" all her life. Totally unbelievable, especially the casting, her cute b.f. would go for a much hotter girl in real life. Oh yeah, and the gaggle of girls sitting behind us talking/laughing non-stop through the movie didn't help either.
Its no wonder I rarely go to movies anymore. This is the best hollywood can do? UGH!

I was so looking forward to a good scare on Halloween this year but I didn't get it here instead I got a good laugh! The only scary thing about this flick is how much $ it is making! Ridiculous!
