My friend really wanted to see this, "everyone says it's great!" I'd read the reviews panning it. Whoever was right got to say, "I told you so." At least I didn't rub it in...
the good - the special effects.
the bad - just about everything else. no plot (umm...like the border guard doesn't notice nobody is driving the twins??). bad dialogue. corny and racist jokes.
someone dropped the ball - there were some ideas that could have been explored, like an ancient decepticon choosing to switch sides.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

They tried too hard to make this movie funny. Way too many forced jokes and one liners. The unneeded swear words were very out of place. Some of the transforming scenes were hard to watch due to cameras spinning and lights in the back round. And the lines were muffled by the sound effects also. It was amazing how Megan Fox's lip gloss never got smudged either. I need to know what brand that was! Of course the fights were awesome. And Optimus looked incredible.

This was an awesome sequel!! Usually I find that sequels always come up short when there is a great first movie. Not so with this one. It is just as good, if not better than the original! I love that they were able to use the original cast. That just makes it so much better. Can't wait for the next one!!!

I really enjoyed this movie. There was a LOT more action than in the 1st. The only drawback for me was Miss Fox seems to have had lip injections. I could be wrong, but it looked to me like she had fish lips. It was a little distracting. I found myself looking at her lips anytime she was in the shot & missed a few other things that were happening because I was so distracted by them.

This was an action packed and thrilling movie with plenty of great comic relief. This movie shows us that Megan Fox is aptly named but she is by no means the center of attention. The only negative part of the movie is their choice of language in some parts. In my opinion, it was not at all necessary. Overall it was an exciting movie to watch and I am actually considering watching it again at the theaters.

I have two boys 1 is 30 and the other is 7. The movie was good however I would not have taken my 7 year old if I had previous knowledge of the language. The choice of obsenities was rather harsh for a PG13 rating and did not make the movie better!!!!!! I was disappointed with Hasbro and the ratings committee. Good movie for older teens and the big boys in your life.

Very Fun Movie, not for the preteens though.
Has tons of action, which is what really makes the guys in my family happy. I love the whole thing, the special effects are my favorite. The critics don't pick winners that's for sure.

The movie overall was good. However, for children under 13 please be aware that the adult comic content is up there. There are a lot of scenes using words that most parents would find offensive. Regardless of the action, the movie would have been just as good without all the language and adult innuendos.
My only complaint is that they went too far with the language. I would recommend this film to my adult friends, not to my adult friends with children under 14 yrs old.

this movie was really good i recomend going if you have an open sppot in your day with your teen or pre teen go and see it. anyone younger would not understand the movie. Also they had way to much cusing the movie schould be rated r due to all of the cusing it says almost everything except the f bomb. If the they cut off the first hour of this movie i would give it 5 stars. They tried tto throw in random bits to get cheap loughs. so ya if you have time in your day i would definently go see it

The first Transformers movie was fantastic -- honestly, I'd put it at the top of my list for the genre. I was very excited to see the second, but unfortunately, it fell flat. There was an overload of action and it was difficult to follow, it had more of a cartoon feel to it, there was too much language and everything felt way too calculated. There were good parts, but overall, it left me feeling disappointed. I would definitely not recommend this movie to anyone.

I took my grands (boys ages 9 and 12) to see this moview. they loved it--their second time viewing. They gave it high marks. Lots of action, handsome young man lead, pretty girl love interest, humor, language that was funny and common to their age group, and heroes--everything tweens look for in a movie. Granny, me, wanted a little less action, more story, and less noise. Too loud for granny, just right for tween boys. Nice way to spend afternoon with grands. Overall I thought it entertaining, though noisy. I would recommend it for youngsters between 9 and 16 and others who were transformer fans as children. I did not like this as much as the movie "H e-double hockey sticks Boy."

This movie rocked for 2 solid hours! Non stop deceptacon/autobot action. At times during the battle scenes it was a bit confusing which was which.. Despite the occasional confusion the story line was solid. The action scenes were sensational. The cast was solid. This was a fast 2 hours!
