Me and my buddy saw it at midnight and still can't believe it. He's been a transformer junkie since the old school toons and the toys (he has a lot of them) And as for me, i have never seend so much military hardware in my life and i'm in the marine corps!
Its the best of both worlds in this movie, with new transformers and some old ones you loved. The old actors from the first movie kickin-@$$ again in all four branches of our U.S. Military. All this plus Megan Fox, could you ask for more?
See this movie....like right now.

It was good. I didnt like the length of the movie. It seemed to drag on a bit. Also, the final battle lasted like 2 minutes and megatron didnt even fight by himself he had help which was stupid. But other than that the graphics and everything are great. The mother in the movie is halirious!

The problem with Trans2 is the same as the first one...only amplified. Decent action scenes. However, in both movies, the camera shoots so close to the action that it is difficult to distinguish what is going on. This technique worked well in the "Bourne" movies - not here. These are massive battles with huge machines. Zoom out and give us some perspective. Second problem - but more important - horrible script. There really isn't one, making the story line hard to follow. There is another huge lull in the middle of the movie, filled with bad attempts at humor, though Shia LaBeouf is better in this one. At least Megan Fox still looks amazing. If you want action, the new Terminator movie is far superior.

Anyone against this movie should be banned from action movies for life. This movie is one of the best films I have seen in years. You have got to give it to Micheal Bay, he has done the original justice. Hopefully he will keep taking it to the next level. This one is the movie others will be judged by for years!

So there are some reviews that he acting is bad and story line is a bit sketchy. That is definitely a possible discussion but by far the action and the graphics detail in this film are just great. It's Transformers not a golden globe nomination so enjoy it, I am looking forward to seeing this in IMAX.

Great movie from start to finish. It didn't feel like it was 2 1/2 hours long. Excellent CGI, and LOADS of explosions. It had a decent enough plot that wasn't too hard to follow. My only negative about this movie was the language - I know it is PG-13, but my younger sons would LOVE to see it - but I won't take them with all the profanity.

What Michael Bay has managed to do is meld incredible effects with solid characterization. There are some crass, juvenile, and obvious jokes here and there, but overall the humor and tone is more hit than miss. The pace is frenetic but fun. And Megan Fox's introduction in the film is worth the price of admission. Definitely better than the first one, which is quite rare, especially this summer.

Watching Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen is like being an unmedicated child with ADD walking around FAO Schwarz; there's just too much to take in and it makes the whole experience a little confusing & disappointing. The story line was less than clear. There were random, cheesy one liners sprinkled in including one which was obviously haphazardly dubbed in at the last minute about swine flu. Bumble Bee, who had a functional voice at the end of the first movie, is back to his use of the radio to communicate. The CGI effects were pretty flawless so at the least the movie has that going for it! The fight scenes are a little overdramatic and overwhelming but it was one of the few saving graces for this less than average movie.

I enjoyed the first one a lot. Being I grew up during the time Transformers was on tv as a cartoon series. (Hey what happened to Voltron? :) ) This movie was AWESOME. Great action and story line. Read some "professionals'" reviews saying it was no good. (Yeah and they are the same ones that probably said Out of Africa was the best movie ever.) Please see it. I am hurting now for getting only three hours sleep but well worth it. AWESOME MOVIE!! May have to see it again.

Pay attention to the warnings in the rating. Sure the movie has action, and plenty of humor.
But there is more than a little crude humor, inappropriate behavior, and foul language - all of which are completely uneccassary. Not one bit of it moved the plot along . When you remind yourself that transformers were toys for young boys under the age of 10, the plot is easier to accept. To be fair, the action is so constant and overwhelming that it masks the loosely knitted plot. Keep the action, keep the good looking stars, but lose the adolescent perversion.

This movie bored the heck out of me. You didn't really have a chance to get to know any additional auto-bots and once again the product placement made me want to puke. Nothing really made this movie stand out except when the transformers where transforming. Other than that all of the auto-bots had horrible tiny cars and the Decepticons had huge vehicles and were freakin awesome. I regret going through the hassle of ordering tickets from THIS SITE and ending up with two tickets at a theater fifty miles away that are going to be a HASSLE to get refunded. This movie was not one to see at midnight. Get some sleep and see it on a weekend or at a dollar theater.

The previews clearly hyped up the release of this film, and the final project definitely lived up to the hype. All the best parts of the first film were brought back in the second- whether you enjoyed the witty banter of Shia LaBeouf, his character's crazy parents, the jaw-dropping quality of visual effects, or simply staring at Megan Fox- viewers can look forward to all of that and more. New characters are added and old ones are brought back in Revenge of the Fallen.
If the characters and plot lines don't meet your expectations, at least you will have two and a half hours of ridiculous visual effects and action sequences ranging from the streets of NYC to the deserts in Egypt.
Job well done.

Transformers was AWESOME! Action packed, progressive plot & climax, beautifully made!! Only negative marks I'd give the movie are really linked to the twin autobot characters that were a little over the top in their attempt to bring come comedic relief to the long film. If you were a childhood fan of the Transformers cartoon you will still love this movie.

Fans from back in the day, you definitely need to see this. It doesn't follow the original series to a T, but it's close enough. The character designs are interesting and you can see Michael Bay's fingerprint on everything. If you bring a die hard fan that will not stand for even the tiniest alteration or deviation, you'll here nonstop chatter from the seat next to you, then again in the car, and probably the next time you see them...as well as for the rest of the week Those of you who usually stay til the end of the movie looking for the usual goodie, don't bother. There was nothing there. But overall, I'd probably go see it again. It's still a great movie, even with its little flaws and worth buying once it comes out on DVD.

More action, more humor, more decepticons! Visually this movie is amazing...but, storyline, script and some acting leave you a tad disappointed. At times, the fight sequences will leave your senses feeling almost assaulted, but if you don't have high expectations you can totally enjoy it for what it is (:
