LOVED seeing this at the midnight showing ... My sons and I thought Michael Bay is doing a great job of staying true to the series ... And the continuing character development is great. Beautiful scenery and phenomenal action/fighting scenes! Our one snarky comment would be that Megan Fox's lips should be listed as supporting cast! :) Looking forward to the third installment!

I must admit, this movie had everything. I think Michael Bay has done the cartoon series justice with both Transformer movies. And of course, Megan Fox really took the movie to the next level.

beside what I have been hear from critics on the internet. I thbink it was a great movie. i like the effects and i think it was well written. it was action and comedy in one. i would tell friends and family to go see it. One of my friends was watching transformers at one movie house and i was watching at another. they got two ticket sales from us last night.

Filled with lots of action and even a little drama. Also, filled with some comedy as well! It was action filled the whole time and even though it was a long movie, it did not feel like as if it was dragging on! I got excited at many parts and I think this was a better movie than the first!

Likes: Sam's college roomate scenario- hilarious. The kitchen coming to life and Sams reaction appealed to all who knew Shia as Louis in Even Stevens. Green brownies! More backgound on the Primes. Learning about Megatron as an apprentice. John Turturro, period. Even MSN liked him! The " I'm so excited" clip of Bumblbee. An even badder Optimus Prime at the end! More power than he had ever known is great movie stuff!!!
Dislikes: The twins, but ok aside from the stereotype raking over the coals that this movie will receive. Tyrese Gibson's character was not as lively, vibrant this time around this time. My 25 minute wait in line at the concession stand- Boy are they going to here about that!

I thought that the fight scenes were really good. There was alot of action that kept you interested. Shia's mom is extremely funny. The last battle is a little short for how long the movie is but it is still a great movie.

Transformers 2 was a good movie, Michael bay did live up to his expectations of being a big, high, impact film, but still wasn't great. 1) There are an ton of new transformers, it was hard to keep up with them all. 2) Megan Fox had a longer role, but she wasn't this hot bad-rump chick like she was in the first one, she was more of a "GIRL." 3) The humor was off the charts, I believe it could have been kept down a bit. 4) The commandos were not as fierce and hard core as the first one. If I had to compare the first one to this one, then I believe the first one was much better. The movie did have its bonuses, but it meet up with any other sequel as being just that. Not very man sequels that would be better than the first.

It puzzles me that they advertise this to kids and have the action figures and makes the kids want to see it. A LOT of the language is not for kids to hear. I took my 3 nephews age ranges 13-17 and even they were kinda disturbed by all the foul language. If a 13 yr old can say this is not a good movie for kids then that explains that. It was a great action flick but some of the story drags and did we really need to see a guy in a jock strap!!!

As most seconds go - it was over done in several areas. S*xual elements added in where not necessary - and the over all length was too long. Some fight scenes were extra long and others seriously too short for the character.
Shia great and the humor is good.

The movie was fantastic as expected. Plenty of action, and humor. There are sometimes when it seemed to bog down with unnecessary material. With a movie of that length you should always keep it moving. And Megan Fox, don't get me wrong, looked incredible but they kinda went overboard with some of her "hotness". Could have toned it down a little. She didn't seem as normal as she did in the last movie. That was a little disappointing. I mean this is Transformers. Anyway, I thought it was a great movie, worth seeing again if you're a true fan. I'm going again tonight.

You get to see optimus as a complete bamf in this one unlike the last. Its funnier than the original. There's more megan fox provocativity. You even see bumblebee get down in this one. Whoever says there was no plot obviously can't pay attention, but there is a ton of action, ill give it that. I think the story of the origins of their race holds up very well to the intense action sequences.
The only bad thing I can say is that around the middle, the action sequences can get a bit lengthy but I'll tell you what, that was the quickest 2.5hr movie I've seen in a long time. Best movie since Iron Man!

The movie really does suck. It's loud and nothing but yelling and two and a half hours of stuff blowing up. There's a few really tight fight seens but and awful movie all together. It's amazing how someone could underutilize the constructocons so much. I'd pay eleventy billion dollars to have my childhood back. I'm just glad I didn't see this thing in IMAX

This is a decent movie. If you liked the first one, this one will not disappoint you. Very action-packed, and all the fight scenes are very well done (optimus prime is even cooler in this one than the last). However, the movie does get a little long, and I felt there were too many characters that provided "comic relief." (I really don't know why the even introduced "the twins" at all. Over-the-top and not very funny, really served no purpose to the story). But still, these complaints are overshadowed by the rest of the movie, and I still highly recommend going and seeing it.

We know we have to wait between movies and Transformers 2 was definately worth the wait. I loved the first movie and this follow up has better fight scenes, more action, a better story line, and funny. Delivers on all levels. Fun and enjoyable, I recommend it to anyone who enjoys a night out at the movies. I highly recommend seeing it on the big screen.
