Anyone who says this movie wasn't good does not know movies. Very well directed, great special effects, excellent acting, very funny and intense with action. Now there were a couple of cheezy parts but there is no perfect movie. I thought the sequel was a little better than the first although they were both good. The story line was great and I was never bored once during this 2 and a half hour movie. A must see!

I really really liked it. It was amazing and defiantly one of the films of the year! The graphics were awesome, the story was amazing and the battle scenes were epic! The only thing that I was dissapointed in was that they used a lot more language in this one compared to the first one. Granted, there is not that much compared to many other movies, but I would have to seriously consider taking a child to this movie because of that. Otherwise, epic movie, and I will be buying it when it comes out on dvd!

This movie was gripping and had you on the edge of your seat almost throughout the whole thing. I didn't think it was possible to top the first one but, WOW!!!
This is a summer must see, and see, and see again.

I enjoyed the movie overall, but was a little dissapointed with some of the "magic." I thought the effects were amazing and I was not ready for the movie to end. I would not go see it again, and I saw the first one twice in theatres. Like I said, just a little dissapointed.

Saw the original movie 5 times IN THE THEATER - loved it! Bought the midnight tix for the sequel, couldn't have been more excited.
"Urban" robots, HORRIBLE one-liners, gratuitous romantic moments, Turturro's butt...really? REALLY?! Too bad Tyrese went to the trouble of losing 35 lbs for this role. Saw him for 10 min total and he was pretty much reduced to one-liners as well.
On the upside, robots/visuals were still amazing. The movie LOOKED beautiful. High five to whoever kept Megan dewey and dirt-free in all the shots.
Overall though, super disappointing. I can't believe I lost sleep over Revenge of The Fallen.

Just got back from watching the 12:01 show. All I can say is that I just sat there with my mouth open like a little kid the whole time. Then again, I've been obsessed with Transformers for as far back as I remember so I was going to like it no matter what it was. Everyone else in the theater I was in went nuts during most of the fight sequences and especially at the end. Then again, they were mostly, if not all, fanatics like me. I thoroughly enjoyed it obviously. Pretty much, if you liked the first one, you'll more than likely enjoy this one as well.

The action sequences and special effects were great. So Fox is smokin' hot, but since when did that mean that her character had to be dumbed down? Parts of the movie were funny, others were cheesy and distracting. The beauty of the first movie was that it was funny when you didn't expect it- this one attempted humor constantly. Overall, I liked it, but definitely doesn't compare to original.

Tons of explosions, absolutely no intelligence to speak of. Normally I wouldn't care that much, since I loved the first one and it wasn't exactly the smartest movie ever, but they tried so hard to give this one a huge backstory and intricate plot and it ended up falling flat on its face. They try to pull off these big emotional scenes, but since they never bother infusing the characters with any personality those end up failing, too. The fight scenes are awesome though, even if they do get a bit tiresome by the end of it. It was about a half hour too long.

When i saw the first one, i had basically the best movie experience ever. Then this one came out earlier today and wow. As usual you'll hear a lot of mixed review, however this movie was amazing. I am most definitely going to go see it again, how can i not. This movie deserves it. There's a whole lot more interactions between the Transformers, the fight scenes where taken to a whole new level, there was some plot, be it cheesy at time but if you like the first you'll love the second. I mean it was amazing, If i could I'd give it 10 stars. Its just so awesome and is a must see movie for the summer. Ignore the critics who are just mad they couldn't do better, and just go enjoy a well made action movie with some humor.

the movie was good. all the cool cars and the different types of Autobots and Decepticons were sooo cool. wow. it felt kinda too long though, 2 hrs of seating :p but overall GOOD movie! oh and the parents are funny lol

Transformers Revenge of the Fallen popped with incredible visuals. The robots fight more, they talk more and they do more. Everything I expected, some good humor and some references to 80's animated movie- ie "the matrix of leadership". Some things went unexplained, but this is a popcorn movie and it delievered on what it promises: Robot but whopping action!

Loved seeing more of the Autobots and Decepticons, thought the acting and action was really good all around. I was hoping to be able to share this movie with my elementary aged son, because that's when I watch Transformers growing up.
However I was really disappointed with the trashy humor and amount of cussing throughout the movie. Skids and Mudflap just weren't funny and did we need the dog humping joke the third time? Action and story was classy, but the dialogue was trashy. Makes it a So-so movie in my books and would not reccomend to parents with young children...

I watched this movie and I was excited that it had more action than the first. Everytime you think it is about to go a slow scene more action jumps out at you. Not to give away the movie but Optimus Prime is THE MAN in this movie. Even Bubble Bee had more action scenes to keep me wanting more. I would really recommend all TRANSFORMER FANS to go see this movie. I wish it was made in 3-D and playing in theatres NOW!!!!

Loved the sequel. I liked how the Autobots and Decepticons are as flawed as the humans in this movie. I read several reviews that most didn't like the twins. Our audience found them hilarious. More Megan Fox next time (or less clothing). Shia did well, but for another sequel, you have to bring the parents back. Lose Leo. Too much the whinner. Simmons was good. More of the human troops next time too. Most died like redshirts in an old Star Trek episode.

This movie was RIDICULOUSLY awesome. Michael Bay really has a gift. There is not one single dull moment in this movie. Something is happening every minute and it all has good flow. I'll admit, some things were a little cheesy like "oh yeah right, no way they survived that," but it's fantasy so it's easy to get over it. I can't wait for the next one, and for this one to come out on DVD. I wish Bay was good enough to do like 5 movies at a time....cause I don't think anyone can touch him right now.

It was about cars that turn into robots. Then the robots fight. Yay - fighing robots. Making a movie about transformers is like making a movie about beyblades. On the other hand, Megan Fox, Megan Fox, Megan Fox. On a serious note, this movie follows the pattern of "I, Robot" where the good robot is the blue-eyed robot. I'm surprised they didn't put blond hair on the good robot. The theater was at least 50% minority patrons. And the groups of friends were mostly integrated. It was a beautiful thing. Sad to see that Hollywood thinks we always need blue-eyed heroes. Not that there's anything wrong with blue eyes. Megan's are very nice.

This film is remarkably mediocre. The visuals and sound design are great but the pacing makes Akira Kurosawa movies look like MTV music videos. And the racist stereotype robots called "The Twins" are so cringe-worthy they'll make you hate Jar Jar Binks less.

I hope people appreciate the length in time the creators took to make this movie look stunning, all the characters were entertaining to watch again while some of the dialogue as mentioned by others, could have used a little more work.Definitely worth the hour and half wait in line and I am definitely seeing this again, lol probably just to see Optimus combine again ;)
