The second installement of Transformers was up to par as expected and then surpassed it. Optimus Prime and Bumble Bee had some great fight scenes. Megan Fox....enough said. The new Auto Bots were full of energy and pretty funny at times. Michael Bay hit another one out the park with the effects and the action packed car scenes. A+++ movie....it delivers what you had been waiting for all year...and leaves you wanting more.

Sick movie, great plot, great acting. Transformers 2 brought together all that is good in film and even left the door open for a third (which will probably happen, i mean look at the gross profit of the first two). Great job Michael Bay, you nailed it.

This movie was excellent.... I mean I loved the first one but thismovie beat it hands down....... If Transformer: Revenge of the Fallen doesnt make movie of the year on all the awards.... then America has some dumb retards rating these films because whoever did the effects and directing in this movie, they are worthy of every single award in history regarding films.

The Bad:
There were way too many comedic scenes in the movie. They could have easily cut the movie down to 2 hrs if they deleted about 30 mins of unnecessary comedy. The twin autobots were not necessary. I guess they were there for comic relief, but there was comedy throughout the movie that they were really not needed. They could have also done without the roommate tech guy. He was so annoying and not funny at all. The comic scenes with the parents were also overly contrived and could have been toned down.
The good:
The movie as a whole was great. The action and fighting scenes were awesome! Michael Bay is genius! The storyline was also really great. I really liked the movie and will see it again.

While this was not the Transformers I watched with my son as he was growing up, it was an excellent movie. The language could be a little strong at times. The addition of the "twins" was brilliant. They were smart mouthed and course, but two comedy highlights in the film. Fight scenes were very well done, very fluid like something you'd expect from a Jet Li movie.
I would think twice about taking small kids under 12 to see it, but I’d go again in a heartbeat. There was so much action, I think you need to see it 2 or 3 times to be able to catch everything.
The mom was very funny. Megan Fox… need I say more? Shia pulled it off again.
One of the rare sequels that lived up to the standard we expected after the original.

Yes, obviously this was a good movie. But to all the haters. If there wasn't comedy in it it would just drone on completely serious. And yes I wouldn't take a kid there, hense PG-13. I will give you this that he didn't focus to much on the new and some old robots. Jolt is never even mentioned at all. So over shut up and just watch the movie, don't nit pick it to death over little things. Sit back and enjoy it.

This movie is the best of my lifetime and amazingly it was a sequel. From beginning to end you are on the edge of your seat. I was exhausted at the end of the movie and left wanting more. I wonder if I was even breathing at times. It is full of action, humor, and drama. Everything works in this movie. The actors are great, Megan is unbelievably hot, graphics spectacular, and the sound extraordinary. This is a movie you must see on the big screen; do not wait for it come out on DVD/BlueRay.

In almost all regards, I felt Revenge of the Fallen fell far short of the movie it could have been. All the human characters reprise their roles and we are treated to a slew of new Transformers, who, sadly, are never given a chance to develop into memorable characters. The acting was on par with the first film and, as always, my hat is off to Industrial Light & Magic,who did an amazing job bringing the Transformers and other special effects, to life. The writing on Revenge of the Fallen felt less tight than the first film, and the writers seemed to shoehorn in comedy where they could, mostly, to ill timed effect. As a whole, I wanted to like this film, but found it fell short of what could have been one of the better movies this summer.

This next step in the series was awesome! But I do have to say the attempt at humor was a bit overdone. It took away from the storyline and the intensity. But that wouldn't keep me from seeing it again or buying it when it comes out on DVD.

We went to the midnight showing. The special effects and the scenes dealing with the transformers were well done and lived up to high action expectations. Extremely disappointed in the high profile crude language and hihly suggestive comments and scenes. As a mom there with my teenage sons, it made me uncomfortable, but it solicited the desired amount of howls from the male audience. I also didn't think turning mom's character into a buffoon was nesscessary. It cheapened te whole relationship between Sam's character and his mom. The comic part could have been handled much better. Overall I will take the first movie.

I was originally impressed with the turn out at the midnight showing at our local theater. The sold tickets for three screens, they opened a fourth, and at just about thirty minutes to showtime, they opened their FIFTH screen!
No one was unhappy or disappointed after the movie... it was pushing 3am and no one looked tired either!
Great action, Great movie!
ps: May not be suitable for children
