If you love hot girls and amazing robots you should see this movie. I would have loved it if the animation and creativity found in the robots was half as good as it actually turned out to be, and Bay goes far beyond the spectacular effects of the first Transformers. However, character development could be stronger, the plot is predictable and cliche, and the script is as terribly cheesy as the original Transformers cartoon.
All in all, stuff gets blown up and giant robots beat each other up repeatedly. Megan Fox and other random extras are all stunning, much like a James Bond flick. If you need anything more in a movie, look elsewhere. If not, go see this now.

It's a typical hollywood film with an all-star cast along with a good amount of thrills and comic relief. Unlike many sequels, Transformers 2 used the same actors from the first movie which was definitely a positive (I would have liked to see Jon Voigt in this one though). If you can get past the nonchalant, overall poor acting of Megan Fox and the complete change of character by LaBeouf's parents in the movie, then no doubt you will enjoy Transformers 2. To conclude on an upbeat note, Rainn Wilson was the perfect cast for his character, and essentially the reason I was so excited to see the film opening night!

Being that I have never seen the first movie I went into the movie with little anticipation. Within the first minute my attention was pretty much glued to the screen. It was an awesome movie and I have no complaints on it what so ever. Great action filled movie with hilarious scenes too! If you haven't seen it...It is worth the trip..go see!

Very well done! There was a lot more action in this one and more robots, which I was anxious to see; I wasn't expecting a lot of talking from the robots, so I thought that was interesting to see them communicate and interact more. I liked the bit of comedy in there. Comparing the first and second movie, the first one had a more serious tone throughout the whole thing. In this new one, I felt that seriousness kind of slip away cause of the many comical relief. But the action, explosions, chasing, and fighting made the movie really intense. I love that feeling of intensity. So definitely, go see it!

I love Transformers but I have never been so bored watching so much awesome CGI.
This movie is filled with lots of vulgar language and references that detract from the movie and embarrass parents who brought their kids (I don’t want my 13 year old using slang words describing female genitalia and I don’t think it belongs in a movie about toys).
Additionally it resorts to using Nater-like ghetto speaking econobox twin Autobots to deliver the majority of the films explicit back and forth banter. It really degrades the Transformer image.
I thought this movie stunk. Bad.

I really enjoyed this movie. It was full of action and really kept me on the edge of my seat. The overall movie lasted 2 1/2 hours and it really didn't seem that long. I loved the new transformers. I enjoyed taking my children but I would not recommend for children under 12 due to the graphic language. Overall I really enjoyed seeing this movie in the theatre.

Robot fights, hot chicks, explosions, special effects... these all characterize TFRF, but you can also add foul language, crummy dialogue, and weak comic relief to this list... The movie was stellar, until people started talking. Because of this it drew out into a 2 1/2 hour movie. Don't get me wrong, those are the only bad things I could muster up! The engrossing plot reveals new transformers on both sides, as well as a new main character, Sam's (Shia Lebeouf) college roommate. We even see a cameo from The Office's Dwight (Rainn Wilson). Bay's camera work and use of visual effects is stunning, often making the first movie look like it uses Hasbro's plastic toy counterparts. Just chill out and go watch it... it's epic!

The movie was good. The transformations were so quick in some cases that you need to buy the DVD to be able to slow it down. At times it was like machines spinning so quickly, it was hard to separate friends from foe.

I was pleasantly surprised that the second was as good, if not, better than the first. Having small children, I was a little disappointed that they added more adult content. But we all enjoyed this action packed movie.

This movie was fantastic! Great action, good plot. The only thing I would say is there was a lot of cursing-much more than the first one. So if you're one of those parents that do not want your kids "sensitive" ears to here such language, then go by yourself. Will see it again. This time in IMAX.

Impressive CGI, a fun flick to watch - but doesn't leave the viewer with anything meaningful. Megan Fox is played for all she is worth. Shia actually does a decent job acting. But for overall message and meaning, all the viewer comes away with is the fact that there are giant robots in heaven.

I am a geek and i love these movies, but when i saw this movie last night i could not wait for the movie to be over. the "twins" auto bots were no help to the movie as well as a humping toy car. starscream never came down to earth there was to much filler. Action scenes were not great i will see the 3rd movie (if there is one) and i hope they can fixed what they messed up on. i like what this one article said and a quot " if you liked this movie than you cant tell what is good and bad from movies and you are willing to settle for cheap thrills".

This movie was completely amazing. I went to the midnight showing, and it was definitely worth the eleven dollars I had to pay for it. I, myself, thought it was better than the first Transformers. The action in this one was so intense, and I loved the humor-- I didn't see it as overplayed. This movie kept you on your toes the entire two and a half hours. Most definitely will see it again. Anyone who speaks negatively on this movie, does not know good movies.

Revenge of the Fallen was a fantastic movie! Great special effects, direction, plot was easy to understand. Transformers are great movies for everyone because of the superhero, comedic, and romantic aspects all tied into one. I would definitely recommend this movie to all!
