I definetly liked how they made it more adult, however would still be fine for kids. unless, of course your onee of those parents who dont want your kids to hear naughty words, cause thier is ALOT of swearing. Crazy action almost nonstop, except for the occasional 10 min. plot forwarding scenes. guys and girls will like the movie about equal. it had enouph romance/drama and humor to keep girls happy. as far as guys go... giant robots and megan foxx, need i say more?

Let's start with the good: The Autobots were a lot more intense and hardcore this movie. The fight scenes were fantastic. To see Optimus kick butt like he does is every Transformer fan's dream. The human characters held strong in this movie and as always, Shia Labeouf was brilliant!
The bad: The ghetto twin autobots completely shame the Transformer image. We don't need idiotic, incompetent, ebonic speaking autobots for comic relief...SHIA LABEOUF GIVES ALL THE HUMOR THE MOVIE NEEDS!!
Hint for the 3rd movie oh wise producers and writers...ALL WE WANT IS KICK BUTT ROBOT FIGHT SCENES, DECENT ENOUGH STORY LINE, AND A GOOD SCRIPT FOR THE TALENTED ACTORS TO WORK THEIR MAGIC WITH!!

One of the most visually creative movies i've ever seen. Excellent plot, good acting and Megan Fox isn't too bad to look at either...lol Seriously though without telling the movie, the bar has been raised and there's a new standard for Sci-fi action thrillers. This one blows the first one away and that says a lot, seeing how the first Transformers was pretty good. There's a little something for everyone in this movie...funny moments, romance, drama and some of the best action scenes ever created!!! Needless to say i'll be seeing it again! Oh yea also the midnight showings were sold out at the lux level theater we went to last night and it was showing on 4 screens. NUFF SAID!!!!

There's no denying that the special effect are great. That's basically what the movie is about. If you're looking for a plot that isn't cheesy or something deeper than a straight-up action film, you're best served by something else.
However, if you like seeing giant robots fight (and who doesn't?), you'll enjoy this movie for all its 2.5 hours worth.

This movie has all you can ask for. I can honestly say I was on edge the entire time. Not only that, but I was laughing for most the movie. The twins were HILARIOUS. Not many movies provide humor, action, and a little romance. By far the best movie I've seen in awhile.

the movie had me interested when i saw the teaser, and i was hopping that it would live up to the first one. when the movie was over i would say it lived up to the first one. it's still disappointing to me knowing that this was still very big with product placement. even with that i was still satisfied with the movie.

Overall, I thought the movie was decent. There was a lot of action scenes, the story line was good, and I was pleasantly surprised by the acting in the movie. On the downside, they upped the humor in this movie compared to the first one. There were a lot of lines that I thought were unnecessary in order for the movie to be a good one. Also, there were Auto bots as main characters that were there mainly for comic relief with both their looks and personalities. Though some comic relief is needed in a movie like this, I thought they overdid it in that area. Other than that though, it was a good movie and I would recommend it.

Pure Entertainment.I read a review(cnn) that complained about the "lack of recognizable human characters"??First of all,don't go see a Transformers movie with a Jane Austen need for human character developement,Second, you complain about "dismal comic relief".Sorry,but people,don't believe it.This stone jawed reviewer must have taken 1 too many Vicodin before he reluctantly sat down to review this, purely entertaining movie.You will laugh,be shocked,and enjoy yourself at the movie.C'mon,we know what Michael Bay does by now!! The best movie of the year. there was great action with great placed comedic relief through out the who who movie. The great parts keep me on the edge of your set and at some moments not able to breath. It was great movie all around. This is one of those movies where you can see over and over again. Went and saw the midnight screening with a couple of people from work. wasn't too packed but it was in pensacola regardless.. sold out in 3 theatres at one movie theatre. Good plot alot more comedy in this one then the first transformers, and alot more action packed sequences that keeps you going from beginning to end. I thought it was better than the first because of the fact that more transformers were brought in and alot more elaborate ones too!

I really couldn't wait for this movie to come out. I'm so glad to get up on the crowd,being on of the first to catch the midnight showing. The FX was amazing and jumped out of the screen. The movie was filled with action and laughs!!

I have never in my life seen such an amazing movie. It was action packed, hilarious and the plot was amazing. There was plenty of new Transformers including hilarious twins that did use the occasional cuss word. And yes there was some cussing but it was all in good fun. This movie was so good that after the movie my friend and I decided that it was better than Dark Knight. Please go see this movie. I am going to see it again.

I'm a known sequal hater. I've watched movies all my life and haven't seen but maybe three movies sequals that I liked. This is another to add to that very short list. It's rare when I see a sequal better than the first movie. This movie had great action and you see the fight scenes among the robots much better than the last. CGI is also quite excellent. I will admit it was a bit long because there was moments when I wanted the movie to hurry but it quickly goes away. Awesome sequel. Awesome action! Greta dialogue but the sidekick in this movie got on my nerves! Other than the sidekick, get ready for one heck of a ride!
