The plot is very simple and some of the dialogue is very corny. While it does attempt some emotional development--providing adequate conclusions to the so-called evolution of the characters--it fails because there is nothing to conclude. I was very surprised that the director tried to "tie up" the loose ends when he only made one storyline apparent. In the end I was left with some questions unanswered.

Total let down. I had been looking to see this movie for some time now but was disappointed thorougly all 2 hrs. 30 min. If you want to hear and see several unecessary se_xual inuendos and be confronted with the most predicatable plotline than this might be the movie for you. Terrible use of language when more intelligent things could have been written in.
Two new characters deem to be equivalent to the annoyance of Jar Jar Binx in Episode I of Star Wars except in Transformers there are 2. Really corny at the beginning, not as intricately written as the first movie.
It was still a "somewhat interesting" movie, however, I don't think I'll be watching it again. I'll continue treasuring the first movie.

The action never stopped and the humor was well timed. It was also interesting watching the Shia Labeouf injuries progress through out the movie (thankfully the injuries weren't any more serious then they were). He has really become a decent actor and I love the chemistry between him and Megan Fox. Hard to believe he's the same scrawny kid that played the annoying little brother on Even Stevens.
I would highly recommend this movie to anyone looking for a fun action packed movie.
The only negative I could give is that some of the humor maybe to mature for small children and the fast paced action seemed to make the smaller children in the theater restless. But certainly fine for the 13 and over crowd.

This intense action packed movie will keep you on the edge of your seat the whole time! although Revenge of the Fallen is long, you wont get bored. I went to the 12:01 showing and it kept me awake! You definitely get what you payed for.

While I really enjoyed the first Transformers, Revenge of the fallen fell hard due to it's poorly written script and overall immature, childish tone. While I enjoy toilet humor, there is something about see a robot humping a leg for ten solid seconds that just turns me off. The action was big, the acting was top notch, but it was all put to waste by the nonsensical plot, and constant loopholes. If you are looking for fast cars, hot women, and big over the top action, a la Micheal Bay, you will not be disappointed. But if you are looking for sense, and a fine tuned, well written script, Transformers Revenge of the Fallen, should fall off your list of summer movies to see.

Micheal Bay did not let us down on this one! Great graphics as usually and I loved how they explained the whole history of the transformers and why they originally came to earth. I also loved the twins in this movie. They really had me laughing. I wish they would have included the other transformers as main characters with bigger parts and dialogue. It was still awesome anyway.

This movie was just as good if not better then the first! It had the same level of excitement that you would expect after seeing the first one! Every scene was action packed and emotional. The story line was superb as well! I would recommend this movie to everyone I know!

Movie way to long. One of the action scenes at the start was in there twice. So much blowing up all the freaking time it was hard to see everything. It also seemed like the bad guys kicked butt the whole movie, till the good guys caught a lucky break. sort of like the old Steven Segual or VanDam movies. It got to the point I didn't care how they ended it, just end it. The 1st Transformers I went to the movie and saw twice. I don't think I will watch this one again even on DVD.

Special effects are as good if not better than the first. Action scenes are longer and more cyber filled. New bots and cons keep popping up to serve as extras on screen. Multiple quick catches on the humor, sarcasm, and crude material. Mom and dad are the hillarious caricatures they were in the first. While I think they could have put 5-10 minutes more body into The Fallen story for those yearning for a plot, it is definitely worth seeing on the big screen.

I'm absolutely shocked at how easily entertained some people are. This Movie was a big marketting gimic. All it was, was advertising s3x(Megan Fox) and companies like GMC. I honestly had a respect for shia LaBeouf, but now I wanna reconsider. The Acting, was at best around the acting level of The OC. The directing was mediocer, Micheal Bay, TRY AGAIN. The Music and plot was absolutely ridiculous. They tried introducin green and s3x. I felt like I was watching American Pie meets a cheesy sci-fi movie. I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THIS FILM AT ALL! You'll be very dissapointed. THERE'S A REASON THIS SECOND ONE W A S N ' T PRODUCED BY STEVEN SPIELBERG LIKE THE FIRST ONE THAT WAS GOOD.

While there was lots of action & special effects, there was litte plot. I fidgeted in my seat for the first hour wishing it was over; then the action picked up and caught my interest. The director could have cut half of the movie without losing anything. Too much unnecessary crude humor. In all fairness, I've never read the comics, so I may not have an appreciation for the characters. I liked the first Transformer movie better. My 20-something sons and their friends loved it, tho.

By far the best movie of the year!! I'd pay full price to go see it again. I've been reading reviews by critics and all I have to say is if you can't get down with this movie then your lame and you need to find other things to do with your lame life instead of bashing creativity like this. Misery loves company and critics are very miserable people. The critics are talking now but let's see what happens at the end of the weekend when The Autobots smash the box office.

This was a waste of my time waiting in a hot line of stinky ppl! The beginning was supper stupid! they were just milking the whole "megan fox is so hot", gossip. (the girl cant even act) the story was pretty stupid too with the new ghetto auto bots. eh. this movie made me just want to sleep if it was not for the loud action towards the end.

Anyone can get their fix for explosions, don't expect much more. Special effects are jaw-dropping (best I've ever seen). That said, the plot feels weak and drawn out. The Fallen is explained poorly, the love triangle is a weak 20 min, and most of the rest of the time you're left wondering how much longer the battle you're watching will last or when the next Decepticons will appear out of nowhere. There is NO reason this movie has to be 2 hr and 30 min.
Most of the attempted comedy falls flat and the drama feels laughable. Don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with the acting...the build up and tension just aren't there.
Bay made a summer action flick for teens...sadly. Teenagers will like it, doesn't mean it's a quality movie.

This was a highly anticapated film, kept under wraps for months. I attended the midnite showing of this film, buying tickets weeks in advance. I was extermely impressed by the movie, action packed, perfect in transforming the machines, cgi excellent. As in one of the pervious reviews I read there are several flaws in the movie, characters out of place and so, however it is still an excellent film. The theater I attended the audience including myself clapped at least twice during the film. I highly recommend this film.

Great action adventure movie. It actually had a plot, the action scenes fit into the drama, not just arbitrarily thrown in. Because of its fast pace you never notice that it is 2.5hours long. It is a little predictable but the overall entertainment value out weighs that short coming. Absolutely recommend seeing in the theater.

This movie is 2.5 hours long and not once did I feel the need to look at my watch or thought about anything else. Movie has a great plot, and the perfect pace. Plus the cars, robots and the girl is a plus. They delivered.
Probably one of the best movies out there that recaptures our childhood. I dont think todays kids will have nearly as exciting childhood comcis/heros come to life 2 decades later.

The whole movie was action packed which drew me in! Its been awhile since i actually liked a movie this much! I will go see it over and over til it comes out on DVD!! Their were 10 of us that went opening night and there was not a bad seat in the house!

Transformers 2 was one of the best movies ive ever seen! The special effects and action are amazing! All the robots look alot better than the first and everything has been taken up a whole another level! This move has everything that people would want in a transformers movie! All i can say is , if you dont go see this movie your doing yourself a disservice to yourself, this will be the best movie this summer and will top anything next summer throws at it! Im so pumped up for the 3rd transformer movie!
