I thought the movie overall was good. I think the 1st one was better. I didn't care for the massive increase in obscene language. Many kids will see this movie because of the animated version and the profanity that was used was totally unnecessary. The 1st one had profane words, but not nearly as much as this one and certainly not as obscene.

It's very rare that I feel a sequel is better than the original, but in this case I feel it is so. The intense actions and phenomenal graphics enrich the story and memories from my childhood.
A few scenes are a little over-the-top and should have been cut or shortened, but don't take away from this edge-of-your-seat movie. Add in plenty of jokes to lighten the mood and you're in for a ride.

The movie is pretty good, obviously the action is amazing and the audience can enjoy the characters. Now there are some obvious flaws; holes in the plot, corny over the top scenes and just some plain stupid material. In addition the movie seemed very LONG. It's about the same length as the first one but it just didn't flow as well because so much stuff happens. With Michael Bay as director the movie isn't going for any best picture awards; it simply aims to provide entertainment for a mass audience and it successfully does. The critics have been pretty rough on this movie but no matter what anyone says it's going to make an enormous amount of money.

Much better movie than the first. Action packed the whole time. Lots of funny parts throughout the whole movie. Megan Fox is not even the hottest chick in this flick. The autobots and decepticons had bigger roles than the humans did and there are a lot more of them this time. Bumblebee was really surprising with his butt kicking. This movie is a must see and can be enjoyed by everyone.

There were several good ideas presented, but they were poorly carried out. The plot did not mesh with the plot of the first movie at all. Several transformers were introduced just by showing up on screen, and never heard from again. And the new ones that did have starring roles (the twins) were annoying, and a horrible racial stereotype. And if you are like me and thought "no matter what there will be giant robots fighting".... you will be disappointed. Micheal Bay saw it fit to have extreme closeups on all the fight scenes so all you see are pieces of robot and metal with no way of getting a good idea of what is going on.

This movie was filled with exciting action and fight scenes, but some were so fast-paced that you couldn't even tell which robot was which or who was winning. At some points the story itself was a little hard to follow. On top of that, it's a very long movie, and by the end of it everyone in my party was running to the bathroom. I loved the action and the characters, but this movie just didn't do much for me.

Yes it had A LOT of action from beginning to end (a big difference from the first one) but without the action and heavy use of funny and sometimes excessive cussing, I'm not sure what to make of this movie.
Sorry but it's now obvious G.I. Joe is gonna be the real hit of the summer because this was just an entertaining ride....... just not sure where to???

I was a little disappointed in the movie as a whole. Both movies were action packed but the sequel tried to hard to be a comedy and the jokes weren’t that funny. The story line was ok, but again if the stupid humor was cut out it would have been more enjoyable. But I would recommend this to a friend, I would just tell them not to get there hopes up, if they were looking for a movie like the first.

This movie was the biggest let down for me in recent memory. This sequel had nothing in common with the first movie. The fight scenes were choppy and failed to meet the standards of the first film. The picture quality was grainy. I would give this movie zero stars if possible. The director should be ashamed of himself for releasing this movie.
