Some people are too opinionated. A movie is something you watch to enjoy, not criticize and take seriously. Its science fiction, hence the bloody name. I grew up watching the cartoon and this movie is amazing. The first movie is great, but this takes the computer graphics to another level. I couldn't care less about movie critics and anyone else that didn't like the movie. I would definately recommend this to anyone who enjoyed the first movie.

This movie blew my mind, around ever corner there was heart-pounding, intense action, that I was not expecting. This is a movie that MUST be watched by all, the graphics pushed Star Trek out of the spotlight!!! I would recommend to all ages, there is no gore or nudity and minimal language. I was literally on the edge of my seat the entire time!!!! Please, everybody, GO WATCH THIS MOVIE, if you dont, yo uwill be missing out on a experiance of a life time!!

This movie was AMAZING! It was full of action and comedy and a good story line. AT times it was a little redundant with the blowing up of things but it was visually good. The only negative thing i have to say really is that the actual look of the transformers seem to lack the almost real quality of the last movie. Other than that it was great!

This was an awesome 2 1/2 hours of entertainment. Miss Fox is Oooo so HOT, which makes for a very good show. Saw the movie on a Digital screen theatre... crystal clear. Totaly recommend this movie.

A must see. It was a little long but well worth the money. My 6 year old son loved it. The plot was in my view a lot better than the last. They once again left the end open to another sequel.

I love movies where they blow stuff up but this was about 2hr 15m of blowing stuff up and 15m of other stuff. They just overdid it. The special effects were awesome but I would not want to see this movie again.

It took 2.5 hours to tell us that this movie was about darn piece of cube from the first movie. Optimus Prime is the shiznit, but some of the scenes were way too over-extended. I.E. the beginning - they could just had the narrator say the Auto-bots/Deceptacons/Transformers have been around for years. Did I really need the whole Bots against the African Civilication beginning. Some Forced comedy - cool visuals though. But other than that wait for it on Red Box for a $1 rental.

If you know what you're going into, you'll probably have a good time. It's explosions, it's Megan Fox, it's CGI, it's story-is-secondary -- or more like tertiary.
It certain doesn't deserve the hate from the professional critics. It isn't Shakespeare or Scorsese. It's Michael Bay and on that scale, I'd say it is as good as the first movie. It isn't Bad Boys 2 bad, it isn't fire-in-spare Armageddon bad. Quit taking this tent pole series so seriously and have a good time. Three stars.

transformers was badass way better then the first one and the twins (skidplat and mudflap) were hilarious i dont care if ppl think they were being racial they were funny and did exactly what they were put in the movie for comic relief id deff go watch it again

The movie was good, no doubt. However, I did feel that it was a lot of the battle between good/bad and it seemed to drag on a bit. Graphics were amazing and Shia was of course at his best. Good movie.

The Good: It was nice seeing Devastator and hearing Soundwave speak with the same voice I heard in the 80's.
The Bad: They crammed in so much from the source material that nothing got fully explained. The story just jumped from fight to fight and we were expected to go along. Also, the sheer number of Transformers featured with little or no explaination as to who they are or what they even transform into made it very confusing at times.
It becomes obvious about 15 min in that if the useless traits of a Michael Bay film (excessive explosions, slow-mo shots, shots of the military that have NO bearing on the story, and the nausea-inducing 360-degree camera pan) were cut out, the writers could've used that time to tighten the story.

I think the Movie Rhino and I would agree that Transformers 2 was a pretty awesome flic.
As a matter of fact (or opinion), I feel this one was better than the first. The story was bigger, the fight scenes were more explosive, and the drama and action were top notch!
It was great to see the original cast return. And the new robots and faces.took it to the next level in entertainment.
It's amazing that this spectacular production was based off an 80's action figure series by Hasbro. Could we see a Thunder Cats live-action movie in the near future?
I'm already stoked about The Last Airbender (Avatar) trailer that preceded this sequel.
Finally! The cartoons & toys are really coming to LIFE! Thanks Hollywood!

I liked this movie, but I did not love it like I did the original. I could have done without the Parents being in this movie. I also think they could have pared down on how many Transformers there were. Sometimes it seemed like there was too much going on and the Decepticons all started to look alike. If you are looking for action and some nail bitting with some great special effects I'd definitely catch this flick. It wont be the same on a t.v. screen, no matter how many inches it may be. It's fun and entertaining.

I can truly say that Transformers 2 blew me away. I would say it was even better than the first, but nothing can beat the first movie out. I would definitely go see it again at IMAX, especially since the special features were incredible. It has tons of action, a great plot, and it is generally just another one of the best movies of the year so far. Go see it if you already haven't.

Transformers Rock. Good vs. Evil. A great lesson that military does not have to fight other humans. Peace prevails. Good lesson for my 5 year old grandson, who got a new BumbleBee t-shirt to wear and has been excited for a week!! After the movie he told his Mom and Dad there was too much for him to tell them about the movie. His 'head is full".
