Transformers 2 is a great movie as long as you aren't in it for the dialogue. The movie is definitely full of action and the main characters are more the Transformers, than the people, as it should be. It does have its highly sexist moments. It is rated PG-13, but they were walking a fine line on being rated R. If you are a true Transformers fan, then you will love the movie. All the critics hated it, but then again they were looking at the movie in whole and not from the perspective of being a Transformers fan. I do plan on seeing it again and buying the DVD.

I think this movie was a perfect hit for the summer. Some of the comedy was a little over board in some parts, the plot was almost identical to the first movie which made some scenes a little boring. But the action really keeps you in touch with the characters and movie and keeps you watching. I also recommend seeing this movie without reading a review before hand, otherwise you are already walking into the theater with guns ready to shoot down and pick apart every scene. Go in, grab some popcorn and enjoy a great action/adventure movie!

Transformers was GREAT, it was so exciting and funny!! I took a bunch of kids in my family ranging from ages 15-7, we ALL really enjoyed ourselves, it was a fun night for all.
Highly recommend the movie to others, especially Transformers fans, you won't be disappointed.

ENjoyed it alot. The action scenes were excellent. There was alot of well played comedy in this one as well. Although foul language and adult content was abit much for young childen. But for teenagers and adults i give it thumbs up. I actually liked this one more than the first.

I was very eager to see it and I wasn't disappointed. It was long but action packed. The CGI was flawless and just amazing with what ILM can do these days blending real live people and cgi.
My one problem with the movie was the amount of innuendo. Yes the Movie was PG-13 but the previous one had no where near the same amount.
Still all in all a great move.

I must say that this movie was great. It was filled with a lot of action, there were newer autobots and much much bigger decepticons than the first movie however I feel that there was way too much profanity for children to watch. This supposed to be a children's movie, I would have never guessed the Transformers would use such foul language. Great movie for those who loved the Transformers and a child but it's not really a "Family Movie" to watch with youger children.

I saw this movie ONLY because I'm hosting a Chinese teen who had seen T#1 and wanted to see the sequel. I was impressed with the computer generated animation at first, but even that became old very quickly. The (non)plot was idiotic at best, the characters had no depth AT ALL, and the sound was overwhelming. If you're into CGA, it's a playground; otherwise, it's a mindless waste of time and money.

A fitting sequel to the original movie it provides great visual effects, comedy, action all wrapped in a smart well thought story. It made me feel as if I were 10 again watching my favorite cartoon with comic book in fist.

Although it flopped at the box office, I think TRUE transformers fans will understand it, appreciate the amazing effects, and walk away wanting MORE!!! This version is definitely geared more for boys and Megan Fox has, uh, "changed" and they focused a little more on her as a symbol, but it was a GREAT flick and I HIGHLY recommend it!!!

The movie was awesome. It had action, comedy, and romance. I wasnt a huge fan of transformers before the first movie came out - but I love this movie. You should see it! The only thing bad about the movie - well wasnt really about the movie. But the theater over booked the movie and they had to open a new theater and link the movies together and that made my movie start late. But thats all.

I think the movie was great when it came to the grahics, the action and the story... However I think that the movie could have done without all of the foul language. There were of course a lot of kids in the audience and you could hear and feel the audience cringe and some of the language that was used. If I had know this I probably would not have taken my six year old.
Otherwise the movie was great!

I won't pretend to be an professional film critic, but I can tell you that this was a terrible movie. The writing was trite and unimaginative, the directing was disjointed and confusing. Worst of all, this was advertised much like the first Transformers film was a few years ago: an action-packed family film. Instead, it was lewd, vulgar, and grotesquely violent. The first Transformers was certainly violent, but this film made the violence done to humans and autobots alike much more graphic and personal.
I wouldn't recommend this film to anyone.

I could NOT take my eyes off the screen or stop squeezing my partners hand for the ENTIRE movie. From the first few minutes to the last second of the movie you are enthralled. I wanted to like it. I really did. But after an hour or so had passed, I simply gave up on finding anything of redeeming value in this film. When did Michael Bay become a parody, even of himself? Make us care about the characters, and the battle sequences mean something. I felt nothing, and I resent that.

I did like the movie a lot but it's too bad that they put in a lot of "suggestive overtones" (couldn't use the real word here...interesting because the review is not totally accurate then) in the scenes because young children don't need to see that. The movie was good without those scenes. The graphics were good and it was definitely a lot of action.

Dont listen to the critics who are too self absorbed to enjoy themselves. This movie rocks. The special effects are done extremely well. I only noticed one flaw in them and I wont mention it. The story flowed well for me. The comedy breaks were good. The Twins are awesome.
