the action in the this movie was spectacular but the plot and dialogue seemed to be crammed in between the 2.5 hours of explosions and fight scenes. if this movie pushed 3 hours and slowed down the dialogue a little betwen the actors it might have been easier to follow. special effects and graphics were amazing though.

This is a movie about badass alien robots, not a moving journey highlighting the tragic human condition. If you are an uptight film snob, I'd recommend avoiding it. That being said, I'd much rather watch this than that Slumdog garbage any day of the week. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is an adrenaline filled 150 minute ride. Michael Bay does what he does best for the entire movie, launching you into an epic larger than life thrill that epitomizes both the word fun and the much loved 80's cartoon on which it was based. Definitely a good time and worth the overpriced cost of a ticket.

Movie did have alot of action, more than I expected. The best part was the Chinook and Osprey in some scenes..I help build them.

I liked it alot even though I wasn't really too into the first. I thought Megan Fox was really overrated but after seeing the movie I changed my mind. She and Shia both did excellent jobs.

This movie is very worth seeing IF you are over the age of 9. The effects are awesome. BUT, the evil decepticons are much more brutal in this one, smushing humans and not caring about the carnage left behind. LOTS more language. The tone of evil is very scary for the little ones. My 5 year old and 4 year old will have to wait a couple years to watch it on DVD.
The movie could have accomplished the same story in 20 minutes less time and the plot goes off base here and there(Sam's 'other world' experience with the Primes).
Enjoy - but leave the kids at home!

I thought it was pretty good, good graphics and alot of action. Preferred the smaller autobots to the large ones - they are funnier!
Not much of a story line so if you prefer action, things blowing up and fights - you'll love it!

Though the actual plot line gets a bit muddled through the first 45 minutes or so, the movie begins to come together quickly after that. The level of action is right up there with all of the great testosterone driven guy movies that Michael Bay has become synonymous for.
The cars are also characters that play an interesting part, not because they transform but because of how sweet each ride actually is.
I would give this movie two thumbs and a high-five....

I'm giving it 5 stars because i thought the movie was pretty good. The action sequences were awesome and there was some great comedy in there! Megan Fox, where as she is so incredibly gorgeous to look at, wow she cannot act! I love the parents...they are funny! Definitely a very entertaining movie!

This movies was so jammed full of special effects, and excitement. I would reccomment this movie to everyone, from my great grandmother to my youngest child. With the exception of some language ofcourse.

The first movie was way better! This movie was good, but too much love story. Plus too much comedy! I understand needing a little comic relief, but it was too much! The twins were horrible! I would wait to see it after the hype wears down or it comes on video. I expected a lot more from this film, I hope the third can bring it back!

It had better effects then the first movie, and maybe even a better movie overall. I would love to see it on an Imax screen though. The critics running the movie down probably never got transformer underwear for christmas like all their friends!

Overall this is a great sequel to the first movie. There are some action sequences that will leave you blown away, and there are some that will require some Tylenol. Have no doubt, if you blink for a second in this movie you miss important parts.
The biggest flaw I have with the movie is that you can tell they are making the Transformers move around way too much to make the computer animation seem more real. In fact there are only about two scenes where Transformers are standing perfectly still.
All in all though this movie was great, a lot of fun and definitely a pleasure for old fans and new.

This film was excellent. If you like the first Transformers film, then you will love this one. This movie makes going to the theaters fun again. I think that the films from 2008 really didn't do anything for me. Transformers 2 is definitely a film to see over and over again. I saw it on the Ultrascreen and it was incredible. Star Trek was a great warm up for summer block busters...Transformers 2 is everything you want in a action packed film.

I ordered my tickets on line - got to the theater, and the power was out... came back on, okay, got our treats to eat... got settled in our seats.. and right when the movie was to begin... the projector broke.... moved to another theater, and finally got to see the movie.... which was totally worth all the problems.... Loved the whole movie... just wish they didn't have the cursing ... they had plenty, plenty movie kids watching..... Will watch it again and again, I'm sure.

I thought the movie was fun. I really enjoyed the fight scenes between the transformers. The ending left you with the feeling there will be a thrid movie. My son pointed out that two of the Deceptocons got away. Sam's parents are great.

Great movie!! As good as the first. Optimus was awesome. The new Transformers were so humanized they were great. Definitly will see it several more times, to catch things that I missed the first time. This is a summer blockbuster, MUST SEE movie!!!
