This was by far the worst movie I seen this year!!!! I was totally embarrassed!!! The language, vulgarity, and offensive "Black Ghetto-illiterate" characters made it difficult to sit through. This is not a kid friendly movie like the first one. I should have read the reviews first, next time I will... If there is a next time. The movie was too long and if they had cut the inappropriate items it would have been a good length. My 11 year old son, said it felt like he was watching a movie with the deleted scenes in place. That was 2.5 hours of my time and money wasted. Do yourself a favor, save yours.

Took granddaughter to see this Transformer movie. I live on a fixed income, so imagine my dismay when less than ten minutes into the movie we had to leave. Violence I understand - but there was such vulgar language that was totally unnecessary and out of place in the context of the movie. Please explain why a fun movie was turned to trash...did not know that Steven Spielberg would lower his standards to this type of entertainment...and to think we didn't stay long enough to see the infamous "humping dog scene".........it is a shame that's the scene the kids are talking about....all for the money, Hm-m-m?

I think this was a chance for all Autobots to be created equal. I guess not! I did not find it amusing at all, that there were two Autobots, that were supposed to obviously be "black" . One had a gold tooth, they had faces and ears like MONKEYS, and stated "We don't read much". Also in the beginning of the movie, they were a broken down ice cream truck. I did not appreciate this at all! I have told everyone about this. Get it together!!!!!!!!!!

Besides the fact that the cgi in this film makes it pratically impossible to follow any battles, a grammy should be given to optimus prime... Since he had more speaking parts than any other charecter...lol....or not,
the vulgarity of the robots came as a shock to me since the original show was geared towards children and most of the people in the theater were there with young children, besides the apparent lack of charecters from the first film and the almost exact same story line from the first freakin film, the good news is I had a nice nap right at the middle =)

it's 10x better than the first Transformer movie and my wife and i loved it,we can't wait for it to hit DVD so we can buy it.
I have been a fan of the Transformers ever since their arrival on earth LOL back in the 1980's and being a teenager at the time i loved it.
We hope that DIRECTOR Micheal Bay makes another one,but how he could top this one would be tough,Transformers is the best movie franchise in years in our opinion!

it fell into the vat of crude, vulgar language, senseless vulgarity and innuendo. The otherwise good movie was completely trashed and degraded by it all. I felt dirty and assaulted when I left the theatre and ashamed to tell anyone that I respect that I ever saw it. It is unfortunate and so sad that Hollywood has decided that a well made film and classy, clean movie making are mutually exclusive.

I am a huge fan of the 1st Transformers film, however save amazing CGI action scenes this sequel had at least an hours worth of unnecessary dialogue and perverted additions. For example the humping, the male organ on a robot, and the twins idiotic "gangster chatter" to name a few.
Furthermore the plot was completely unrealistic... the entire hope of earth was reliant on a few decepticons turning from evil to help Sam and the others. Why after being programmed and spawned from chaos and destruction would these decepticons desire to help the lives of these humans. Lame
I was very disappointed by this film and have already told everyone I know not to waste 20 bucks on it at the theaters.

It was really a very good movie. I would have to agree with lots of the viewers. I wanted to see a good movie with good story line, but having the Ghetto Ice Cream truck with two supposed twins, that used profanity, that was alittle much. I don't think it was intended that way, but flopped on that part only. Every thing else was outstanding. I only hope that if J.B. does another film, he leaves ou the language, it was for Kids and the young Hip Generations, they don't need that language. Even us ole Skewlers don't need it.

Hmmm, not sure how to approach with review. First off, the language coming from the robots was ridiculous and offensive. It wasn't necessary and the movie could have been better without it. The dog on the robot - absolutely not necessary and completely ridiculous. I had 4 boys with me - ages 13-17. The 17 year-old hated it. the younger ones liked it but were uncomfortable in some parts. Come on Hollywood, can you not just pull back a bit on the offensive tactics. Really, I'm tired of it and I know so many others are, too. You are getting ready to lose your audience.

This movie didn'f fall short from the first. It picked up right after and from begining to end left you on the edge of your seat. With an addition of multiple characters and the return of the entire cast, it lived up to a phenominal sequel. It had a story line you could follow, plenty of action, a huge amount of comedy, and an evolving love story. This is definitely a must see!!

I was really disappointed with the amount of profanity that was used in the movie. The Transformers are TOYS!!!Which means they were made for kids. My husband and I took our 5 year old son to see this movie and he was covering his ears!! Overall the action was good but it lost points from me for the use of profanity. Not to mention how IGNORANT the "Twins" were.

Loved this one almost as much as the first one. The twins were a bit much at times, but pretty funny at other times. Missed hearing the sound effects for when the Autobots transformed from one to the other.

I enjoyed the movie, but some parts were moving so fast that I lost track of who was who. I agree with some of the previous reviews that they need to slow it down some to see more of the transformations and that it is hard to tell the good ones from the bad ones. I laughed out loud at some parts. Action, laughter, and an emotional tug. This movie was great for me.

Optimus Prime is back to defend our world against the evil decepticons. This entire movie is one crazy rollercoaster ride. With romantic and comedy themes mixed in to provide breaks from the heart pounding action sequences; this is an IMAX must see movie. Fanboys of the original cartoon/comics will be a bit dissapointed at how they treat some classic transformers in this movie, but overall, this flick is a great evening at the movies.

This movie had its moments, I'll give it that. But mostly it was a 2.5 hour blur of crashing metal, stock military footage, tough military guys showing who was boss to the weak civilian government...every time you think the movie is finally over, there's some long expository dialogue about the history of the Transformers, and you realize with dread that the end is far away..

I was out-explosioned by the first hour. Megan fox is the worst actor ever. Shea Labeau isn't far behind. Humans can be crushed by decepticons yet run towards with hand guns. Optimus prime died within 10 minutes and came back to life after a terrible acting filled emotional run to insert life back into him by the humans. I could not tell the different between Megatron and half the decepticons. Rent this movie, do not waste money on it in the theatre only to be blinded by text checking.

Transformers was riveting and fast-paced from start to finish. The movie is really unbelievable and very funny too. You will be at the edge of your seat hoping for more... Truly an excellent movie, although a bit too fast-paced at times which makes it a bit hard for the youngest to follow... Still a great movie and a definite blockbuster...

i love this movie,it kept up with the last transformer movie and story line. it was a little long but with the action you didn't really notice until the movie was over. the transformers-transforming should have been slowed down just a bit so you could get into the transforming! it was so fast it seem rush for time.

What can I say, FANTASTIC! So much for all the negative reviews. This was a non-stop, action filled movie that my family and I thoroughly enjoyed. This is one of those movies you could watch over and over again. Transformers is destined to become a classic that will be enjoyed by generations to come. Although this movie is absolutedly fantastic, I would not recommend it for the very young.
