I think so long as you let go of ANY expectations and sit back and let the movie take you where it wants you to go, you'll have an awesome time with this movie. I've heard a lot of complaints about how it's not like the cartoon: well, it's time to get over that, 'cause when has ANY movie replicating a comic or cartoon been accurate 100%? It's called having creative freedom....
GREAT action, effects, it had moments of genius hilarity, and they didn't concentrate TOO much on the "hotness" of Megan Fox. It was badass....

I really hated this movie. Horrible story, horrible characters, horrible jokes.
The movie is like watching someone's really obnoxious muscle car, when you know the director is trying to over compensate for a lack of size in a certain anatomy.
The humans were horrible, didn't care about them. I found the robots the most interesting but they're left as a side note in their own movie. There's only one dramatic scene and it's with the Decepticons. I wanted more of that. I wanted more of the Autobot characters. But what I got were twin Jar Jar Bots. Please don't make the same mistake I did by supporting this movie.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Transformers overall was a great summer movie. There was action, suspense and comedy/ I did feel that the violence, language and crude humor, warnted an R rating. I also am not sure why, if the deceptacons were at war with the world, were they knocking over US flags?

To say the least I nerdgasmed. Multiple times!
The fight scenes were epic, and the special effects, same as the first were AMAZING.
The bots were witty, the awkward scenes with Sam's parents left the crowd rolling, the ending was beyond duh as to the fact that this series is definitely NOT over.
And like I said before... had to go home... and change my pants.

This was definitely a good movie and worth watching with friends and family. There's action as well as some comedy so there's some for everyone. The action scenes are amazing. It's even a little better then the first one.

Not is sure why there are bad reviews for this movie when you know what to expect! A great action flick with Megan Fox! She is really hot in this movie and oh yeah, the robots are cool too. The fight scenes with the autobots and decepticons were much longer and more developed. Awesome!

Overall I thought it was a good movie for adults. My only gripe is for the kids. If you have small children leave them at home. I watched 3 sets of parents leave the movie with their small children. Too many unnecessary vulgar situations and language. Just by these I would have suggested an R rating to keep children away. Everyone knows that the kids will want to see it because at the heart Transformers was supposed to be for the kids!

I really loved this movie! Yes, all two hours and thirty minutes. My eight year old enjoyed it as well. Love the song "New Divide" that Linkin Park wrote for the end credits!

As someone who grew up watching the cartoon in the 80's, I absolutely loved what they did with the robots this time around. Excluding the autobot twins, the robots' personalities and strengths stayed true to their original characterizations.

Much more action than the 1st Transformers, i really liked all the new cars/trucks/motorcycles that were added in this film!
And my favorite part of the movie is when Optimus Prime Finally Transforms into, Somewhat of a full blown transformer!!!
Much funnier than the first much more interesting, and the story made sense from the 1st one to this 2nd one which is very important, unlike other movies!!!

This movie as AWESOME! I took my 7 year-old son, we both really enjoyed it! Bumble Bee and Sam's parents were great, they almost stole the show. It was great how they brought back old characters and introduced the new ones. TOTALY TOTALY AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

I am sorry but this movie was great! I never listen to critics to begin with, for they do not know what I like to watch. Almost everything they have ever recommended I thought was horrible. I went to see this with my boys (8 & 12) and my sister-n-law and we all loved it. It had an element for all of us on all levels. As of this morning my boys are still talking about it. And the Twins and the little 4-wheel truck were amazing. I would recommend this to anyone.

While it was a very fun movie, it clearly did not meet the standards of the first, particularly in dialogue and plot (and given the nature of both in the first film, prepare to be disappointed in these aspects). However, the action sequences are WAY better than the first.
Some new characters are good comic relief (the twins in particular were annoying at first but at the end i found that i really liked them).
Fallen stunk. Autobot Matrix of Leadership is finally back!
Devastator was the best part of the whole film!!!! Made me feel like a kid again!!!
Definitely recommended, but don't go into it expecting to be blown away like the first film.
