I went to go see this movie with my two sons 9 and 4. There are some parts that I feel unappropriate for children such as language and the little robot toy truck humping the girls leg. I also think that the robot that turned into the "human girl" was off the story line. Transformers transfor into cars and such, not humans.
Anyway, my boys didn't catch that and they were very excited even after the movie. Very entertaining.

I took my 8 year old son to see this movie. The special effects were great as well as the fight scenes, but the movie was long, especially in the very uncomfortable chairs that my theater has; even my son said it was a little long. All in all it was a good movie.

Movie was very good. I took my 7 year old grandson and he loved it but I was disapointed with the vulger language. That did not add but really cheapened a good movie. It was not suitable for children that would have enjoyed seeing the transformer movie. Would not recommend for children.

For a special effects fan like me, this movie was a blast! The storyline improved upon the first film. However, in an attempt to go for more laughs, the writing was a bit campy at times. If you are a sci-fi/fantasy nut like me, this movie is a must see on the big screen. For the average movie goer, Transformers, Revenge of the Fallen will be just a good way to kill 2.5 hours.

Confusing for a movie about robots. It jumped around from their homes to college to Egypt too much. Phenominal special effects and better characters then the first one. The plot line was hokey but afterall it is a movie about giant robots.

I enjoyed this movie alot, they really went all out on the special effects this time. Visual masterpiece and a must see. I thought that some of the fight scenes were a little drawn out. But, a great movie! Go see it!

Although Trans- Revenge is a movie I would definitely recommend and will buy the Blue Ray, it wasn't as good as the first movie. It felt bout 20 minutes too long, didn't like that Op-Prime wasn't in it for 1/3 of the movie. Absolutely loved the new transformers (twins were more for the kiddie than me).
Over all I liked the movie and recommended it to friends, just not as enthusiastic as b4 I saw the movie.

Just like books, movies in general need to be scripted so that there is downtime in being spikes of action. It has been proven that the human brain functions best like that.
The reason I say that is because Transformers is 2.5 hours of non-stop action and mass destruction. It's too, too much without ever taking a break. I took my 5-y/o son to see it and felt a little awkward with all of the foul language used. Megan Fox is fine as can be, the special effects are jaw-dropping...but the movie needed to slow it down a notch. I left with a headache!

I'll admit I was skeptical when I heard it was almost 3 hours long, but I honestly didn't notice! The effects were great, I laughed alot, & the story was easy to follow (I'm not as familiar with all the characters as my husband so I'm usually lost!). My only complaint is that Megan Fox is super-hot...until she opens her mouth. Thankfully she only has like ten lines so her acting-or lack thereof-is bearable only because she's so fun to look at.

The action scenes in this one are non stop and come at you fast and quick. Better action sequences than the first, although the first had a better plot. The parents are excellent but the soldiers really had no real impact. It was awesome that they brought John Turturro to the front of the story and made him a hero. Didn't really need the mushy love story but Megan Fox is definitely someone to bring in the male crowd. Overall, it is definitely worth seeing.

This movie wasn't as bad as I heard. The plot wasn't as good as the first but the action was good. I was kinda disappointed in the character development of the soldiers-they seemed softer this time around. The robot that was disguised as a girl, was pretty far fetched-seems like they would all try to hide like that one. Lesson to be learned for the guys out there-if a really hot chick is super into you-she may be a robot from outer space.

It was quite possibly one of the worst movies ever made. It was written by 12-year-olds, edited by 12-year-olds, filmed by 12-year-olds, for 12-year-olds. My inner 12-year-old hated it. The best part was Megan Fox lying seductively atop a motorcycle, painting the gas tank, but unable to see what she was doing. Classic.

I went into this movie hearing some negitive things but I have to say that when you look past the terrible story line the movie was awesome. It was a non stop, something always blowing up, transformer movie! Miss Fox is absolutely amazing even though her lips are huge!

Megan Fox is a huge distraction, but the distraction is not beauty, it was her huge new lips. The action was great, I'd like to see if it's clearer in IMAX. The twins where more than a poor attempt at comedy. Transformers can't turn into humans, I'm not sure what idiot had that great idea. All in All it was a good movie. Better than average, I am going to see it in IMAX.

Megan Fox distracts you from many of the plot holes, but this is really a bad movie.
1. Devestator the huge decepticon titan can eat the pyramids, but the smallest autobot car gets in it's mouth and that's way too big AND that TINY car easily rips his head apart...
2. No matter how much damage you take, you can transform into a complete and fully functional jet with no problems at all...
3. They can bring megatron back with a stolen piece of the all-spark, but no one thinks to use the other piece to bring back Optimus?
4. Since when can decepticons become people? Why wouldn't they all just do that?
5. The twins...They transform into a jalopy, swear and fight with eachother, have bad teeth, can't read...no hidden message there...

Our 4 year old and daddy watch the first nightly. He was in shambles when he was told he couldn't watch it because Mom and Dad said it was too adult, even for a 12 year old. There was little character development on good guys, plenty on decepticons which are what we call "naughty guys". In fact it left my wife and I clueless in the battle scenes because there was just too many machines everywhere with too much action at points. Humor was belly wrenching, but there wasn't nearly as much as the first and in this movie it is totally adult. It is not a family flick, but we recomend it for its action for the adult crowd. Our son and daddy will have to wait for the next one....

The movie wasn't bad. However, it was rated PG-13 and I have, and will continue to discourage others not to take children (even those 13 years of age) to see the film. The language and explicit content was completely un-necessary. It did not add to the film in any way. In fact, it took away from it. I am very disappointed that I will not be able to share one of my childhood favorites with my children. Poor judgement and tolerance are ruining our society, and I am very sad to say that Transformers is now a part of that.

The movie was exactly what I expected it to be... an intense action film with lots of explosions and transforming robots. The acting was average, but not as bad as other reviewers have made it out to be. For families with younger children-While both Transformers have been rated PG13, this one has many more crude material and innuendos. I felt ok recommending the previous one for an 8 or 9 year old, but not this one. The MPAA rating tells you WHY it is rated as such. Leave little ones at home.

First of all for all of you who are criticizing the film for not being kid-friendly, look at the MPAA rating before talking. It clearly says "PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi action VIOLENCE, LANGUAGE, SOME CRUDE AND S*XUAL MATERIAL, and brief DRUG USE". If you take your kid to this movie and complain about it, it's your own fault.
Overall the movie was the best movie ever made. It was a bit lengthy and some of the scenes could have been cut out, but no biggie. It was well directed and produced. It is definitely worth seeing and I would recommend it to all. I can't wait till the third one comes out.
