My 8 yr old boy thought this movie was awesome and better than the first movie. There is definately lots of action. However, I would have preferred that he didn't hear all the bad language and see all the sexuality that is portrayed in this movie. Definately a "guy" movie, definately NOT a young boy movie!

this movie was good although the plot was some what predictable I would much rather seen a movie where the decepticons won because it would have made more sense. this movie is helped if you watched beast wars which is a prequel to transformers.

This was an exciting moving with lots of action and awesome graphics but the vulgarity and the sexuality was completely unnecessary, especially for a movie geared towards kids and teens. I went with a teen but I would never take my younger boys to this film.

Very entertaining and pop corn thriller. From it's first part to this second part , it keeps you sit on the edge of the seats.
The story line is good , sounds are very good coordinated as movie progresses.

Wow. This movie was one big roller coaster ride. I had a blast watching it. Yeah, a lot of the jokes were over the top, but I actually laughed at a few of them. The action was amazing, the special effects were incredible, and the acting was pretty good, too. The plot was a little iffy, but it served its purpose. Overall, it was a ton of fun to watch. I definitely recommend it.

Transformers Revenge of the Fallen is the best movie I have ever seen! It had a lot of action in it which made the movie awsome. It had a ton of Transformers in it so seeing each one fight was awsome. It had more Military tech in it than the first one and more comedy. Michael Bay did an awsome job on this film. The writers were excelent in keeping to the story line and the music was awsome!

The movie was good for special effects. But it didn't need to be 2 1/2 hours long, as most people seem to agree. The movie subject is geared for kids...I know...I know adults go too!
My young grandchildren were with us. The vulgarity was unnecessary. The dog humping the leg; the dad smacking the mom's rear and taking her upstairs to bed. etc..etc. Kids are learning younger and younger now as it is. We don't need to help them along. If all those parts had been cut out it would have been a great show to take kids too.

Loved the movie - had good action scenes and lots of explosions. Some parts were a little slow - didn't think it needed to be 2 1/2 hours - wished a couple of times I was at home with my Tivo so I could fast forward. Just 2 hours would have been sufficient. Definately will buy it though!

It was my husband's birthday present so I had to go. I actually made it through and was not disappointed! I loved the visual effects and he filled me in on the storyline before we got there...it's been two long since it was on TV! The only thing is that it was too long for me and too much action at times that it was hard for me to follow, otherwise, I would definitely advise to go see it.

This movie was just too awesome. Michael Bay is the bomb. Kick butt action from beginning to the end. Reminded me of Transformers when I was a kid...BTW..I was not offended by the Twin Robots and I am a black man...it was just comedy..folks lighten up...Love this movie

Not the best. Lots of action, but too much visual and audio to keep up with. I felt like I was watching something edited specifically to attempt to keep the teenage attention span from waivering for more than 1.5 seconds. It was overwhelming at times, and kinda silly. Not much depth or emotion - but I guess that's not what it was meant for anyway.....

This one had a lot more action than the first one, without much plot. Also, the focus seemed to jump around. At first they had their piece of the cube, then they were looking for the key, etc.
Also, it seemed like more decepticons kept showing up, without any explanation as to where they came from.
I'd give it an A for action, but a C for plot/storyline.

I liked it. Despite not being a huge fan of Megan Fox, I'm starting to warm up to her character a bit in this one. Another great performance by Shia LaBeouf. Overall a must-see movie.

This movie was obviously made for a younger generation, but there was no reason to make this movie sophomoric and not child friendly.
There was way too much vulgarity for children, plus the (albeit accidental) drug use by the mom, and the robot acting like a dog on a young woman's leg. (Couldn't they just have had a transformer zap the mom and had her do all the funny, stupid things that she did?)
The action-packed robot scenes, the comedy, and the beautiful young people could have carried this movie for a lot more families.
I hope they clean up the next movie and let more people enyoy it.

I can not believe someone paid to have this movie made-- and I was stupid enough to go see it! The robots are cool- of course-- but the acting and script was so hideous!! They should have only had the robots in it-- the only worthwile part of the movie! Megan Fox- her fake lips looked liked she was stung by a bee- the push to have her be sexy was so ridiculous & gratuitous!! Shia LaBeouf-- absolutely stunk! The rest of the cast were such poor over-actors!

We enjoyed this movie as much as the first one. And that opinion comes from 3 generations that watched it together. We're all in consensus on this. We watched the first one enough that all of us can quote lines. I'm sure we will do the same with this one. The action is almost non-stop. Fun movie! Go see it!

you will need to have seen the first film and suspend reality a little more than before. The supporting cast (Mom & roommate) kept me in my seat waiting for when they were going to show up again. The plot has holes which is disappointing considering the money and talent attached (both in front of and behind the cameras). But the pleasure my 13 and 8 year-olds got out of it and nearly passing out laughing at the Mom scenes --- it was totally worth it. It only dragged in a couple of places, when it was getting so far-fetched suspending reality was nearly impossible, but it got back on track. Go see it and let's hope they correct the mistakes when #3 comes around.

I am 7 yrs old and I took my mother to see this movie. Even she enjoyed the action and humor. Of course, there were a few naughty words and I hid my eyes during a couple of sexy scenes, I am really not in to all that stuff. I like how they brought back all the same actors that were in the first Transformers movie, it was easier to relate and get into the story line. My mom was amazed that I knew all the names of the transformers before they were introduced. There was a sad moment in the film that almost brought a tear to my eyes, but for the most part, it was all excitement, you will have to see this movie!

The three of us really enjoyed it. The action was almost constant and started very early in the movie. It was difficult on occasion to know who was the "bad" transformer, but it didn't affect my enjoyment of the movie overall. It brought back memories of all the hours upon hours my boys spent transforming their machines. They still have several and they are both late teens now.

Clearly this movie is geared toward 12-18 yo males. The women are SMOKIN' hot with a few shots that will arouse disdain from one's date (if you risk bringing one). The computer graphics and special effects are stunning! The movie is so action packed, that when you leave the theater, it takes a few minutes to calm down from the overwhelming visual and auditory stimulation. The plot is as thin as bad soup and the script is imbecilic, but who cares? With all of the impressive skin, CGI, explosions, and crazed action, this movie will rate high as a total guy flick. If you're bringing a date, be prepared for some crusty looks and lame commentary. Best to see this one with the guys who can really appreciate it.

as i was reading some of the reviews before i went i was disapointed to see that so many people took there young children and grandchildren to see this pg-13 movie. it was rated pg-13 for a reason. but aside from that it was a great movie with great action. the length didn't bother me and when it ended i didnt relize that 2 and a half hours had passed.
