This movie has excellent graphics, lots of action and a small bit of comedy.
A little bit of something for everyone.
The only thing I didn't like is a few of the tranforming scenes moved way too fast , I couldn't tell what was transforming into what.
But overall was a great movie!!

I liked it, maybe not as much as the first one, cuz it was the first. I found the sound to be so loud as to drown out the dialogue at times, causing me to feel as if I might be missing something. The movie got better as it went along and I liked the end. The special effects are a wonderment. I recommend it to all ages.

The action and the transformers introduced in this movie were awesome! (Who would expect anything else from Industrial Light and Magic.) Plot was predictable but I didn't go to this movie for an Oscar-winning plot. I went because nothing could keep me from watching a Transformers movie! I've loved them since I was a kid! The cheesy girlfriend/boyfriend stuff was distracting but I loved the movie anyway. Will definitely see the 3rd.

Great, exciting packed movie-but with a somewhat predictable plot. Hasn't the Egyptian/alien thing been a little overdone now (Indiana Jones, Stargate etc.)? I mean aren't there thousands of other ancient civilations that "could" have been linked interestingly? I did so enjoy the fight scenes, graphics and it did have fantastic continuous action. Lose the skanky females, corny love scenes and get a beautiful gir with brains and you would have the ultimate Transformer movie.

In his second installment of what will obviously be an ongoing franchise, action director Michael Bay has opted for a full out CGI experience of robots at war. Shia LaBeouf is starting to look grown up and Megan Fox is as hot as ever. It doesn't even matter what the plot is here or how weak the dialog may be because this movie is all about Big Screen fast moving action, action, action. And Bay delivers big time on that. I saw it in a huge theater and the audience actually applauded at the end. This isn't art house cinema, its a popcorn chomping movie and it works on that level.

This movie held my attention for the duration of the movie. It was not the deep or thoughtful movie but it was good at keeping the story going and had some pretty awesome action scenes. If you are looking for a good way to waste an hour or two I would recommend this movie; however if you want to see a thought evoking drama, go to a different movie.

I can't believe how the movie industry tricked us all into buying into the illusion that this movie would be better than or even as good as the first movie. Too much confusion/action/transformations and not enough to keep you intouch with any of the characters. I should get a refund just for having to sit through this movie.

Even though I saw the first Transformers & liked it, I didn't jump on seeing this one, but my hubby really wanted to see it so I went along. So glad I did! I never pay attention to reviews (I find everyone has a different opinion & what some people hate, other people love) BUT saying that, here I am reviewing this film and I think it was definitely worth the money to see in the theater! I say, if you are even thinking you might want to see it, go! There was a lot of action & the entire film really flowed pretty well together. I didn't leave thinking "Hmmm....why did they have that scene in there?" I am planning on going again to see it with my son & I ONLY go to the theater to see a movie more than once when it's REALLY good! :-)

I don't know how much more simply I can state it. This sequel paled in comparison to the first. It was way too long and there was plenty they could cut out. I was very disappointed in the scenes with Sam's parents. They came off ridiculously and many of those scenes at the college could have been cut.. The battle scenes were excellent however and that's what made this movie a blockbuster for the summer. Oh and Megan Fox...she may be beautiful but the girl couldn't act her way out of a paper bag. But go see this movie on the big screen before it's too late because this is a BIG movie and should be seen on a big screen. It is worth it to sit though the carp to see the battle scenes.

HOW GREAT AND ACTION PACKED THIS MOVIE WAS!!!!! Producers stuck to most (if not all) of the original story line. It was funny, dramatic, triumphant.....I LOVED IT! The love story pt. of the movie did not overpower the story line.....it was great.

In a time when theater tickets cost nearly the same as buying the dvd later. I wait for most movies.
This is a TOTAL theater adventure that is worth it. I can't wait to buy the dvd, I may even see it again in the theater. It has great jokes. Awesome special effects nearly every minute. It may be 2.5 hrs but I never noticed I was so kept in the action. I won't give spoilers, there are plenty you have to see for yourself. Plus some of the shots from the movie are just beautiful.
Speaking of beauty, does Megan Fox ever look less than amazing? WOW. Mind you, I don't know how she put on fresh lip gloss while running for her life, but who cares. Check out her eyes near the blue bottle wall. That is a beautiful picture. One of many.

Go see Transformers:Rise of the Fallen, kick back, let the thrill ride take you away. I enjoyed this latest action packed Michael Bay flick more than any other movie this year. I especially love how our military is portrayed as the brave heroes they are and the politicians as the micro-managing incompetents they most surely are. The Washington bureaucrat sent by Obama to "take over" NEST operations and making a royal mess of it gave me a chuckle, its nice to see someone in Hollywood is not kissing this administrations backside. Maybe that's why many of the so called critics didn't give this movie a very good review including our own AZ Republic, up yours Bill Goodykootz!!!! Go see this one folks you'll love it.

If you liked this the first Transformers you will love this one! Special effects were amazing. I was a little disappointed in the character portrayal of Megan Fox's character. She had a stronger character in T1, and she was little more than a hottie in this movie, thrown in for eye candy.
My biggest disappointment was not checking movie ticket prices ahead of time. Thought I was getting a huge discount by pre-ordering from Movie Tickets.com but I still had to wait in line to get my tickets at the window, and discovered regular prices @ the theater were also $5!! I paid an extra $3 for tickets for a service fee for buying ahead while I was trying to save money and for what? I received no extra service..

Action with a storyline, must go see!! Love the aerial shots of NYC and his spanish dorm-mate is a cutie~! The parents are hilarious, the twins take the cake and outshine Shia's character, more of them please!!!! Loved the Egyptian scenery.

I am so glad this is rated PG 13!! The reasoning behind this rating was very clearly noted. I am certain all parents are truly appreciative of being able to take a close look at these ratings before making tough decisions for their children. I ended up taking my 13 year old but not my 10 yr old (although he certainly protested!!) My son (and I for the most part), felt the special effects were great. He loved it all whereas I, as an adult, felt the non stop action made up for a bit of a stretched story line. At 13 years of age he wants to resurrect some of the more difficult transformers he had......I guess thats what the toy manufacturers wanted!
