Once again Hollywood tries to ruin a great movie with curse words and innuendo. Overall this is a good movie, the action is awesome, it would still be a good or great movie without all the innuendo and four letter words. Almost all the bad words did not need to be there and seem to be added for cheap laughs by people who don't understand real humor. Unfortunately this movie is based on a childs play toy and many children are going to see it. I would not let a kid under 16 see this.

Did this really need to be 2 and a half hours long? It didn't make a lick of sense and had a lot of cursing and low brow humor for a PG-13 movie. Way too drawn out and tedious. Even the robot fights got boring. Just plain stupid.

The movie overall stayed with the cartoon series and has them do everything they should. The whole last half of the movie could've been cut in half. The actual end only last 5 minutes and disappointed me but thats what the cartoon did so I knew where they came from.
To put it bluntly, as an action movie, it is worth the money if you love non stop twists and turns and robot battles. But if you hate movies longer than 2 hours, don't go.
This movie was a stereotypical sequel. Not as good as the first and just average. FIlled with romance that was never truly in the cartoon.

My son, a six yr. old, loved the first Transformers movie, which I thought only had one inappropriate scene. We decided to go to this one since he enjoyed the first so much. I can say that he still liked it, but as a mom, I cringed a lot because of the inappropriate language (every other word at some points) and innuendos, etc. The PG-13 rating is true for this one...definitely needs an older audience. I wish they would make movies like this more appropriate for the action-loving younger boys.

Is it Psycho ?? Is it Weathering Heights ?? Is it the Wizard of Oz ??? No, no, no.
But then it never purported to be. It is what it is, a moderatley interesting / plausible story line whose main purpose in life is to qualify the large use of CGI and other effects. If you are going to see this expecting your ideals of morality to be strenghtened, you need professional help figuring out what those ideals are. Because thinking that they are on display in a Sci-Fi action movie.... well...nuff said.... Only one sore point with me: the atractive brunette star is shown riding her Aprillia motorcyce twice early on. So why does this $15K Italian twin have the exhaust sound of a 2-stroke dirt bilke??? Sorry guys.

It was exactly what I expected in a sequel, bigger, more transformers, more fights, etc. The story might not be an epic tale that will last for ages, however it's a movie based on a cartoon based on toys, what were you looking for?
I'll go see this again in the theater, and I'll buy the DVD the day it comes out.
I'm just hoping a third gets made now, maybe a Unicron story?

I'd have to say I give this installment a solid 4 out of 5. Excellent movie, good character and actors, and some really funny comic relief. The main problem I had with the movie was that when you were being told the back stories about all of the human characters it seemed to drag on and on. Then when it came to some of the big action scenes (the final scene, for example) they seemed to be rushed. Still, I'd go see this movie several times in the theaters. Very good!

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was excellent! It was better than anticipated. The action, storyline, characters, etc. held their parts and captured the attention of the audience the entire time. I never heard one complaint from within the audience, no groan or moans of disappointment. It was great! The only part I didn't like was the little off-shoot of Mojo and the new dog and the "dominance" issue. Other than that....it was RIGHT ON! I'd see it again...I will be buying it when it goes to DVD...it was worth every penny! I will likely see it again in the theater before it goes to DVD!!! The "Old Timer" from the past (Jet Fire?) was awesome.... It added a "Knights of the Round Table" feel to the movie and was quite welcome!

I was extremely dissapointed that one of my best childhood entertainment memories was oblliterated by what should have been a rated R version of what could have truly been called one of the best overall action fantesy movies of all time. All of the gross explict content and enuendos were completely unwarented and did not fit in any part of a movie that a parent takes their 13 year old daughter to. Who ever reads this review remember BAD is not the new good its still the same old BAD, Dont let hollywood poke your eyes. Signed extremely dissapointed!!!!!!!!!!!

Spielberg has a habit of condoning sexuality and cursing unnecessarily in his movies. I was very uncomfortable watching and hearing some of these scenes with my 12/14 yr old daughters. I know I own the development of my children...so I just need to learn to stay away. The fight scenes were very confusing as to who was doing what... with the final battle scene being inconclusive to me, until the victor finally rose from the battlefield. Not a repeat viewing in my future. Very long.

TF2 is in many ways leagues better than the first movie, particularly in terms of action set pieces and more Autobots & Decepticons. Unfortunately, the humor was increased as well, and it just felt like there was a lot of "fat" than needed to be trimmed. Hopefully for the 3rd movie they'll get a better editor and spend more time on the script. They really need to focus more on the story and action, and less on crude gags. Overall I would recommend it, but with reservations.
