This action packed movie was great, for the adult that is. I enjoyed this more than the first Transformers, and there was a lot of humor. This show is not for the young ones though, there is A LOT more foul language and also a lot of violence. Too bad they had to use so much foul language, it could have been just as funny without it!

Overall very well done. The only complaint I really had was the battle scene in the desert toward the end of the movie took twice as long as it needed. That put a slightly negative spin on a movie where upto that point I was completely into it!!!

Ok--to the person who took "her 10 year old grandson" to see the movie and was apalled by the language. Can you read? The movie is clearly rated PG-13... And since 10 is less than 13... And you blame the movie instead of yourself.
Folks, the movie is a sci-fi/action movie. Will Optimus and Megatron sit in a flower field sipping tea and ruminating on good ole days long past. Of course not.
I was a transformers fan from the 80s cartoon and I thoroughly enjoyed this installment. People who want the movie to be something else should go watch something else instead of complaining about their disappointment. Just enjoy the show.

Took my 10 year old grandson and was appalled at the language and the off color situations. Hollywood could have left off all of that, shortened the movie by 20 minutes and had a winner. As it is, I agree with Roger Ebert.

It was an absoulety awesome movie. i would recommend most people would go to this movie. Definitely not as kid friendly as the first Transformers. Take your teenagers to see it. but not anyone under 10.
Other than that great special effects and good acting! Recommended to see in theaters rather than wait to buy the DVD.

A sequel better than the first in every respect.
The transformers get a much more central role in this film compared to the first. They are in the limelight in almost every minute of this film. From the gigantic multi-machine behoemoth, Devastator, to the little RC monster truck who will keep you in stitches with his comedic antics.
Optimus Prime breaks out of his shell and kicks some major metal rear-end, without spoiling too much he goes berserk and takes out multiple decepticons to protect his human companion.
The new transformer characters are all phenomenal, the new twins, to the female autobot motorcycles. There is one ancient autobot that will make even the old-timers cheer him on.

What a totally awesome movie!! Did I say awesome again?!? The action combined with the effects was amazing, dramatic, awe inspiring, and incredible. I was on the edge of my seat for most of the movie. I also enjoyed some of the slapstick fun and word play. My movie experience was thoroughly enjoyed.

Excellent, filled with action, lil bit romance and comedy. Transformers fans from back in the day will enjoy this movie greatly, it tells some of the history, and tries to stick to the original series to a certain point. With characters like Devastator, and Soundwave, now granted we old school fans know that Soundwave was a boom box, but the new take on having him in this satellite dish was dog gone creative. And the Twins OMG!!! Now that was F-ing funny. Hats off to Michael Bay, this movie have caused me to revise my personal favorite top 10 movie list.

First off I thought the action in the movie was so AMAZING! Props! but ....there was Way too many innuendos it really just got annoying. And there was too much language that didn't even fit the scenes. It was like they where trying to put as much in as they could to get PG-13...and I thought the human transformer was a very bad idea! besides that it was great!

OK, way too much bad language for a movie geared toward kids & let's be honest it's based on a kid's toy. I took my tween who was surprised at the language but loved the action. It doesn't feel like a 2 hours + movie, that part was done well. There is no real plot here if you don't follow these types of movies, you may be lost. See it for the action because the acting is pretty much just running, screaming and hiding (no oscars here). Fun summer flick if you have time to kill and want to see a bunch of stuff get blown up.

The movie is frenetic, and yes there were a few questionable scenes, but honestly, my 8 year old was oblivious. I question for whom the movie was made. Was it made to pump the action figures to kids, to sophomoric teens, or for the dads that were forced to take their kids? Its unclear.
Did everyone miss that a decepticon TURNED INTO A PERSON! Huh? I don't think it added anything except to the dorks who have some kind of fantasy about getting violated by an alien.
As for the whole strained relationship drama, they could have cut off a good half hour off the show. The mom at college was funny but unnecessary. The fight scenes, especially the hand to hand combat, were wicked and innovative.
It is what it is, a Transformers movie.

This is a good movie! It was better than the first, but it wasn't better than some of the other films currently playing.
Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox did an awesome job and really worked hard.
Director Michael Bay delivers what the audience expects, except a new, different storyline.
The visual effects blew me away and kind-of helped the story roll!
Once may be enough, but it is a film that is meant for the theaters and IMAX screens!
I give 'Revenge of the Fallen' 3 stars!

This movie was done incredibly well. Well, I did think the human bits were a little on the eh side, but who watches transformers for the humans anyways?
There are great fight scenes! If you were a decepticon fan, you should be ecstatic!
If you liked the first movie, you should like this one even more as this one just blows the top off.

The first time I was just in awe of the effects and the transformers and didn't pay as much attention to the story. However the second time I was able to take in much more of the story. The action is great the fight scenes with Optimius Prime were priceless. I would have liked to see a little more interaction between the other autobots but I realize they can only do so much. The dialog between the humans is corny and a little predictable. There are one or two short scenes that are unsuited for small children but they see more on network TV and this shouldn't stop parents. If you are expecting some deep intense story, you are going to see the wrong movie. But if you just want to be entertained then you will be happy with it.
