Hi there! If anyone has ever seen any Transformers cartoon they will understand that the whole premise behind the franchise is what is engaging and exciting. I am a fan boy to some extent. But from a movie perspective, it delivered on transforming goodness, realism and action. There is some romance and comedy. It does try and cater to the varied audience that will inevitably view it. I will say that I'm partial to this one... :D Yey, Megatron! TIP: Its a little long if you don't care for these types of movies, but fine if you are a fan! Cheers and do Enjoy!

My ten year old and I really enjoyed this one! It's fast, it's fun, lots and lots of things get blown up. Son literally had his mouth hanging open during some of the sequences! Sure, the plot's a little thin, but who goes to see Transformers for the philosophy?
A word of warning, though, if you worry about rough and/or raunchy language, this movie does have quite a bit of that. If my son was much younger, I'd have been annoyed. (They bust out the 'p' word to describe a wimpy dude. Not a word we use around the house, and thankfully, child was so rapt that he didn't ask about it.) The other stuff was just run-of-the-mill cuss words
Otherwise, this was a great time!

This movie was really enjoyable; great action, good humor and wonderful effects. It was long at 2 1/2 hours, but didn't feel like it. I would recommend it to anyone who wants some good, escapist fun.

A fun action movie with lots of great-quality special effects. Definitely lots more special effects and cool transformations than the first one. The further character development (revelation) of the whole Primes history (especially if you didn't know it beforehand) was very well done and quite interesting. It was sometimes difficult to tell who the good Autobot was versus the bad Decepticon when they were fighting (they looked similar). You definitely get your money's worth - as the movie is a solid 2-1/2 hours of action adventure. If you liked the first one you will love this next chapter.

This movie is terrible. Unless, of course, you are a hormone-charged 13 year old boy with an affinity for talking robots. Notch this one up as another Michael Bay exhibition in oversexed, sophomoric, and (ultimately) empty spectacle. I want my 2 and 1/2 hours and 20 bucks back.

Hard not to like a film with Megan Fox in it. The fight scene's got a little old because it was hard to keep up with who was taking the punishment. You know, all metal looks the same. However, a nice story line and all the characters are well developed and of course set it up for another one at the end. Great action film and the kids will love it!

I had the pleasure of watching this at midnight in a packed IMAX theatre in San Francisco. What I love about event movies like this is the energy of the crowd; there were all sorts of people in attendance: teens, adults, men, women. But, for those two and a half hours, we were all 10-year-old boys playing in the backyard with our action figures, and loving every minute of it. Granted, most of my good will toward this flick is based on the environment I saw it in, that nevertheless improved my attitude of it. The speakers blasting in your ear, the eight-story-tall IMAX screen towering above you, the crowd cheering and clapping at every action scene; it all really makes the experience that much better.

I loved this movie and was very please it was 2 1/2 hours long. I think it was well packed with action and adventure. I have but one complaint, where did they get a humanoid transformer? This was not true to the original cartoon. Hopefully they wont do that again in the next one cause it says more Terminator than Transformers. I'll see it again and again. A must see for any true fan.

This was a great movie. I was either laughing or in awe of the amazing special effects in this film. I just thought that there were a couple of noticeable plot holes, but overall it doesn't hurt the movie to bad. Definitely worth your time and money.

well this was a bay movie for sure. lots of boom; and T&A. the story was all over the place; if u are a G1 transformer fan. this movie took pieces frm all over the transformers world and just thru them in the belnder and hit blend; lol. it was long too; i mean so long; i think if they continue dwn this rd, they should bring bck intermission, so we can take a leak.

Overall, I thought the movie was cool. I loved the special effects. It surpassed my expectations and the first Transformers movie for that matter. I did, however, think that there was too much cursing. It was so unnecessary and took away from the movie, imho. And did anyone else pick up on the racial overtones besides me? What's up with the gold tooth, slang talking', no-readin' twin Autobots? Again, it was unnecessary and took away from the movie.

I grew up loving Transformers. I have been looking forward to seeing this movie since the credits rolled on the first one. My 7 year old son has also been excited to see it. Taking children to see this movie is a HORRIBLE idea. The first movie may have been kid friendly but the level of inappropriate scenes in Revenge of the Fallen was disappointing. The length was also an issue. I feel there are many scenes that could have been removed to make the movie shorter and just as good. All in all a good movie, but a little disappointing for kids that were hooked by the first one.

If your into the whole cgi, noisy overdone violence thing, this film is for you. I went expecting to be entertained and I was, but 2.5 hours is a lilttle much. If you like the first film then by all means see this one.

All my husband asked for, for his 48th birthday, was to see Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. I did one better and got balcony seats at the Warren theater! My husband couldn't have been happier! The movie was awesome in every way. He liked it so much that he wants to go back and see it again! I also enjoyed the movie and am willing to go back and see it again! Normally I would wait until it comes out in DVD
