The adult humor was overdone. The scene with the dogs at the beginning, yea should have left that one out and others I won't go into. Decent length movie, too fast of an ending, I mean really, the final fight was less than spectacular. For a leader of the enemy transformers, the fight was less than epic. Could have tacked on 15 more min or so to give the final fight what it deserved.
Overall good movie, fan of the series since it was a cartoon. Just tone down the adult humor and be sure the ending battles are given their proper amount of time like the rest of the movie was given and this series will continue to pull in a crowd.

High octan take off with a thunderous explosion. Optimus came out full swing in this one. He should why he was the leader of the Autobots. I thought he seemed a lil weak in the last movie. He was full strengh in this one. Mudflap and Skids ( I think that's his name ) I could have did without and RCs ( all 3 ) and Sideswipe should have had bigger parts other then that it was great. Seen it twice and might be going back for a third go. Can't wait for the 3rd movie.

This goes out to all the haters. Before you go watch the movie, maybe read about it. Its called a preview. Also, If you want to be negative about things and dont want your kids to hear curse word..etc, KEEP THEM HOME. Do you realize how many kids curse around each other everyday. So leave your negative comments off this movie. It might not have been as good as the first, but it could have been worse. (like brokeback mountain)

Not gonna go over the story or tell everyone how moronic the critics are (and they ARE morons). This is all I'm gonna, or have to, say: I went to see Transformers 2 on Wed the 24th. The theatre was packed (it was a 10pm movie), and the movie received TWO (2) standing ovations, one DURING the movie, and one when it ended. How many movies can you say that about?

I thought the movie was excellent. I would definitely recommend the movie. The only down side is the language and all the so-called "adult content". For that reason I would not bring my child to see this movie which I really wanted to do because he really wanted to see it. That was the only disappointing part of it to me.

I felt overall it had too much side plot going on and not enough primary plot. At times what was happening to all the characters was too muddled and unrealistic. The robots were all so similarly colored that in a fight it was sometimes impossible to tell exactly who was the good guy and who was the bad guy. The action was exciting, but the main plot really needed more bolstering. On a positive note, I felt Shia's acting showed growth. He's always had great comedic timing, but I thought he carried off his seizure-like fits very convincingly and showed growth overall as a film star. It was worth seeing once in the theatre on the big screen. I'm not certain it's worth paying to see a second time, like the first one was.

I really enjoyed this movie. I went to watch it with my wife and my soon and both of them loved the movie. Is awesome when you can see a movie of the cartoons that you used to watch when you where a kid and even better when they make it like this one .... awesome .. I have already the 1st part in DVD and I will buy this one in Blue Ray.

Just as I expected and more. I took my son, who had allreay seen it on opening day, and he enjoyed it even more. It was a blast for me and I will definitely buy it once it gets released to DVD.

If you liked the first Transformers, then you'll like the sequel, and in a way that's the problem. I thoroughly enjoyed Revenge of the Fallen, and was suprised at how quickly 2 and a half hours can go by.
My only complaint, and the reason I took a star away, is that by the end of the movie, I felt like I had just watched the first movie over again. There were too many similarities to the first Transformers movie, and I came away feeling a little underwhelmed. Not by the special effects, which were first-rate, but by how the story played out. It almost felt as if this wasn't a sequel, but the first movie made somehow 'more epic.'

Improving the best of the first movie: amount of screen time for the transformers themselves, and the bot-on-bot action, the movie also includes more of the worst of the first film: the crass humor and major plot holes. I love seeing the bots brought to life, but the movie loses a lot of storytelling cohesion by throwing in plot devices that appear for no other reason than, well, we have a bigger budget, so let's add this. Some of the characters shine: Optimus, Jetfire, Megatron and Starscream, while others completely get lost in the larger scale: Ironhide, Arcee and even the Fallen. Shia, Megan and the human cast do a fine job in their roles, even if they are mostly used as objects in jeopardy. I liked it, but didn't love it.

This sequel in my opinion was a lot better than the original. There was more actual transformers and the graphics were amazing. The only downside to this movie would be the inappropriate adult refrences. This is a movie made for kids and if you have kids under 14 you cant take them to see it. How pathetic is it that hollywood has to forces adult content into every movie. For that reason I won't give it 5 stars, now If they edited those inappropriate sceens out it would get 5 stars.

Visual effects were amazing in the movie. Megan Fox hasn't done nice acting but she sure looked beautiful. I think comparing to part one of this movie the sequel was also nice and kept the movie interest.

Hated it...didn't make a lick of sense and had a lot of cursing and low brow humor for a PG-13 movie. Way too drawn out and tedious. Even the robot fights got boring. Just plain stupidI I just don't understand why filmmakers think that they have to add senseless, crude humor, like the couple of scenes showing the Chihuahau mounting the other dog and senseless crude sensual humor . Theypushed the PG13 RATING TO FAR!!!

Very poor humor and bad language that wasn't necessary for a movie that a lot of kids will see. The special effects were great and visually the movie was good, but it was just too stupid in parts. I would not see it again. The first movie was 50 times better.

Great Movie. Disappointing because of the juvenile subplot... "Do you love me? You say it first!" Disappointing because it lacked the subtle humor. Went for the obvious. Geared for the teen/tween audience completely. Rewarding special effects and action sequences. Hope next one gets back to originality of first movie.

I loved this movie. I've been waiting for this sequel since the end of the first one!!! The final fight was amazing. The graphics were more advanced than the first. The only bad part is that this movie is 2 and 1/2 hours long and kind of loses momentum about half way then drags on till the end.

I loved Transformers 2 . I hope you can agree but i think it was the greatest movie i have seen in awhile. From second 1 to the last second i thought it was action packed, emotional,sad, happy, ect. Although Megon Fox is absolutly beautiful and a wonderful actress.That wasnt the best part but it did help me think this movie was wonderful hahaha if you have 6 or 7 dollars i suggest you see this movie it was fantastic.tell me what you think of it...

i just came back from watching transformers 2. after hearing everybody on radio and other critics bad mouth it . first off if u didnt like this film something is seriously wrong with you. it was nothing less than great. 2.5 hours of top notch action and fast sory line. it is by far the best comic based/cartoon film i have watched. wouldnt recommend for small children because of the cussing but seriously how in the he** could u not like this movie. i honestly think most people that did a bad review on this film hasnt even watched it. cant wait to get it on blu-ray. surpasses dark night and iron man in everyway. dont listen to the sorry critcs and radio hosts. i hope it beats all the movie records just to proove my point
