I liked this as much as the first, however I took my seven year old with me and was concerned on the amount of adult language and adult content that was in this movie compared to the first one. So go see it just beware of taking young children as it is not as young children friendly as the first movie.

I loved this movie, just as much as the first...well maybe a little more. I heard all the comments about stereotyping and language. I have to say it was a lot of cursing, but in today's world teens have seen and done much worst. I do believe that anyone under 13 should not have been in there, but that is up to the parents on what to censor. ANYWAY...back to the movie...great action scenes. Enjoyed the look back to the begin....gives the story a much needed beginning. Only hope that part 3 is good as the first two. Way to go Micheal Bay, you live up to your outstanding way of capturing action scenes.

It was an action packed movie, however, I thought there was some things that should not have been in the movie, such as the language; sexually explicit scenes; and the stereotyping of some of the characters. I was especially offended about this because it just wasn't needed - why show buck teeth and mentally challenged robot/transformers? I was also dismayed with the destruction of Egyptian history - why was it necessary to destroy all those beautiful ruins in Egypt? I must say, though, that I was really involved with the movie as there was lots more action and the C.G. effects were awesome. Next time, leave the nonsense out.

It was as a good as the first one. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and would pay to see it again. You dont even feel the length of the movie. It was nice to see Optimus Prime get an upgrade.

From start to finish a none stop movie. This movie pickes up were the first left off. This movie has something to offer the whole family.Sam and Girlfirend have began a new part of there lives movieng away from the Autobots when the fate of the world is held in Sam's hands once again. Alot of old faces in this movie and alot more new ones. The only bad things are it can be a bit long and for some the language and one a Hot and Heavy part between Sam and..... part nothing to over the top would be the only parts of the movie some may not like. So go see it .

I saw this movie with my boys, who absolutely loved it. However, I think they would have loved it just as much without the foul language. It wasn't necessary. Also, a couple of the scene were inappropriate for the age group targeted..

I definitely give this movie a 5 stars! This movie was packed full of action and entertainment. Just as good as the first one. I will definitely buy this one when it comes out on BlueRay.
Only one minor thing I did not approve of. I don't like the fact that they had to put a "subliminal Message" in the script.
One of the actors lines said "I always knew Aliens built that thing". Also connecting the alien transformers to the great pyramid of giza when they built that weapon inside the pyramid to destroy the sun.
Some people believe that the great pyramid was built by aliens. Which is stupid in my opinion
That is the only thing I didn't like. They didn't have to write that in the script.
Other then that. It was a excellent movie. :)

Having read some of the reviews it is my belief that average IQ's have dropped substantially in the US. This was a complete waste of time. I challenge you to ask someone what the PLOT was. There wasn't one, really. It's just a long loud action sequence interrupted with some cleavage (Fox is gorgeous I'll give her that). Don't waste your money on this people. Wait for it to come out on TNT and just fast forward through the commercials. Boring!!!!!!!!!

Very well done movie. Although it was long, 2:30, it was sufficiently engaging that you almost didn't notice the length, well almost. I liked the realism added by the militray involvement, much was not too far from what could happen. Too much profanity for my tastes, it didn't add anything but detracted from my overall enjoyment. The female decepticon was a page right out of "Species" and a bit out of place for this movie. Great special effects again but the storyline was a little "soft" this time. Still looking forward to Transformers III

I loved it! I tool my 3 son's and one of their friends and they all loved it, only thing is that i thought it was just a little too long so i wouldn't recommend taking anyone under the age of 5 inless you know they can sit still for long periods of time, but other than that it was an awsome movie!

A typical explodey, effects-heavy Bay film. It's fun to watch and a great ride while in the theater, but afterward the plot holes and inconsistencies become painfully obvious. There was also excessive language and crude behavior acted out by robots which made it feel like it was purposely there to be "edgy" and failed miserably. It just made things feel "off" and uncomfortable. Fun, but wouldn't bring anyone under 13.

As expected in the sequel there is a lot of action going on. Do not sit to close to the front so you catch it all! OK..so we noticed a few me-toos from other movies and the story line was a little chopy, but overall, it was fun to watch, well cut and kept us engaged right up to the end. We are amazed at how animation has made these high quality stories possible. Hail Lucas and Spielberg!

than this movie is for you. Not that I expect great acting in a Bay movie, but when it goes through pivotal scenes with the robots movement overpowering the vocals, it ruins the movie experience. Action and special effects were great but I think this movie would be a better BluRay than movie theater.
