OMG...I loved this movie. I have waited patiently for the sequel and did not dissappoint. Although, I felt it was a little long, it was full of action and gave more insight into the story of the Decipticons and Autobots story. I just love Shia he such a good action actor and really gets into his rolls. I know it takes a lot to make these types of movies, but I can wait to Trans3!

Good story line, CG's are excellent, has all the action you could want from beginning to end with some good humor built in. The language is a little rougher than last time so parents should heed the PG-13 rating for the little ones.

This movie has recieved good and bad reviews. In my opinion, this movie was true to the TV series/comics yet more "realistic." This was a 1980's kids cartoon that became a live action movie for said kids in 2009. If this were depicting real life, what would be the point of going to see a movie about robots from another planet? . . . to escape reality. Ok, there were some story "dead" spots, but in the end it all makes sense. If you still need closure, go see it again!

This was a long random, emotionless destruction sequence loosly tied to the plot with virutally no attention given to finer details. In one small example, early in the movie the aircraft carrier USS Stennis CVN 74 (it is given a ficticious name for this scene) is blown up in a spectacular fashion. Later on in the movie they give the same carrier a larger part doing flight ops in multiple scenes as though nothing ever happened. Transformers Revenge of the Fallen gives you over 2 hours of carnage and destruction but fails to pay for it with any emotional feeling or sypothy making the the whole thing very difficult to take seriously.

My girlfriend & I went to see Transformers 2 and really enjoyed the movie. It had plenty of action, though some was hard to imagine it could really happen like it did in the movie. But hey, that's Hollywood for ya. You all have seen the shootouts where nobody ever runs out of ammunition. Nor do they ever have to reload. Personally, I enjoyed the humor tossed about during the movie. I was really surprised that it was just rated PG-13. I feel it was borderline R rated.

Where to begin? Egregious plot holes, abominable continuity blunders (ex., how did Sam get his hand wrapped after the injury?), horribly slow 2nd act, stupid new collagen lips on what's-her-name, unlikely character choices. Bumblebee is content to be Sam's whipping-boy pet living in a garage. Optimus Prime is the ONLY other Autobot seen in the movie, and he's absent for most of the film. Lame setups for wimpy payoffs. Should have been at least 45 minutes shorter. The movie's only saving grace is the CG work, which I would say is the best I've ever seen, were it not for the ridiculously confusing editing in the battle scenes - could hardly tell what was happening sometimes. It gets 3 stars only for flawless compositing and sound.

This movie spent way too much time trying to please everyone for all the wrong reasons. There was way too much teenage se*ual tension and garbled action scenes that it was hard to keep from laughing - at all the wrong times. This movie is a really good step up from the first movie. Lots of action, great special effects and the storyline was good too. I still would have like to have seen more Autobots, they had to many Decepticons. That being said I thought the movie was great and I would like to see it again.

This is what you get when you try to make a movie for every demographic--a hot mess.
With all of the adult content in this movie it should be rated R.
Totally unbelievable is the last part of the movie where the two main characters have to run 4 miles through the desert while being shot at with missiles.
With just a little editing this could have been a much better movie.
I wanted to see if there was anything to the criticism about the stereotyped black robots. I was mildly offended; but what can I be mad at? It's Independence Day weekend and I am still a slave, my people my revel in bufoonery.

We watched the film with our 16, 12, and 10 year olds. There are a couple of short scenes and colorful language that I could have edited from the film and still loved it.
The "domination" and "humping" are short lived. The opening language is not continued throughout the film, thankfully.
The development of the characters is good, the action sequences are packed. It's a well choreographed dance. The scenes would be overwelming for young children, imo.

This movie was what I had expected. Full of action and had some comedy relief. Not the best acting or dialog though. Some scenes did not really make sense like the actor who stripped off his pants to show the audience his g-stringed behind - not really needed in the film.

This was a great movie, kept you interested. However, I wish they had watched the language for the children this show attracts. I realize it was rated PG-13, however I know the producers know that the majority of the fans are children. All in All a great movie.
