As a person who grew up playing with Transformer toys and watching the cartoon, I was very disappointed with this movie. Not because of the acting, the special effects or even the storyline... What made this movie very depressing to me and many others is the gratuitous killing of humans for no reason. This movie should have been rated R as no kid should have to sit through this.
I only recommend this movie to people who have seen the other transformer movies and want to know the storyline, otherwise stay away from it or simply watch one of the other transformer movies which were way better than this one.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

First off is it absolutely necessary to make Megan Fox look so raunchy in the movie? Seriously the scene on the bike took things little too far.
Second the movie was slow and left me wishing it would hurry up and end. How long can it possibly take 2 actors to run 200 yards?
I have to say it did make me laugh, but the definitely could have done a better job.
The acting was alright but, perhaps the actors could have been pushed a little harder.
The graphics rocked and was one of the redeeming qualities of the movie.
The storyline could have been a lot better.
Overall I was disappointed, it's only worth seeing in the theater if you want to see the graphics on the big screen otherwise rent it!

This movie was AWESOME! We seen this movie 4 times. We complained about not getting a full view of the transformers on the first movie and I guess that everyone else did and they listened. We loved it!! It had good action, good acting, good everything. I really hope that they make a part 3. This movie was so cool that we didn't even notice that it was 2hrs and 30mins. If they make another for 3hrs that is just as good; we would be very appreciative. lol

Another awesome Transformers movie. I do have to agree witht some of the other reviewers, the vulgarity and language could have been toned down a bit. It was a great movie without. The effects, Megan Fox, Shia LeBeouf have awesome chemistry throughout the movie. Josh Dumel and the the rest of the returning cast really bring the movie home. It was left pretty open at the end again, so I am looking forward to another adventure with the Transformers!!

The movie was a nice blend of CGI and action but the story was little weak. Seems that Micheal, who loves to blow things up, used that to camoflauge the weakness in the plot line. Will still buy the DVD just because the mind can't possibly process all the visual "eye candy"
that TROF provides.
