This movie was very cute and funny. My son is 10 and liked the action and the story. Kids that are too little won't "get it" becuse they won't understand the plot. They'd get bored quickly.

This is a "wait until it comes out on dvd" movie. My 6 year old seemed to like it, but grew bored several times throughout the film. I kept looking at my watch myself. Nothing really held my attention. My son enjoyed the talking animals, etc. But no big laughs came from him. It's basically a movie with a message about believing in yourself. Cute, but save your money and wait to rent!

Took 4 kids, ages10 - 4 They all enjoyed the movie and 3-D effects. The youngest child kept trying to reach out to touch the 3-D effects, it was so funny watching him interact with the movie. 1 child didn't want to wear the glasses because he said he didn't want things coming out at him, but once he tried it he loved it . I would recommend this for other children, especially the 3-D version.

I went to this movie and I took my son which is 3 and he loved it. After the movie he was running around quoting the movie. I also took my nephew who is 11 and he liked it as well. He even asked his mother if he could get a ginnie pig. I don't think that I would go that far but it was still a good movie for kids of all ages. I even liked it a lot but I wish we had seen it in the 3-D version.

I took my GodDaughters, 6 and 9, yesterday. The six year old was bored and wanted to go home. The storyline is too adult for kids to follow. And the male-female relationship discussion between the guinea pigs is too mature for little kids. The ending action scene iw more like transformers and not what either of my girls wanted to see. They are not into action films of that type. The animals were cute, but don't spend the money at the movie - just wait and rent the dvd. Not even worth buying it.

I liked this movie because it had a mixture of action, comedy, and futuristic technology that my 9 year old son loves. We went with a group of 9 kids boys/girls ages 4 to 10. The 4 year old found it kind of boring other than when there is a loud action scene, or when the guinea pigs are doing their scene. However during the adult interaction scenes she lost interest and wanted to go home. This movie is like putting Alvin and the Chipmunks, Ironman, and Transformers, blended together. There is a message about people being cruel to the environment and animals but that revenge to humans is not the answer.

I took my 8 year old grandson, my 11 year old granddaughter and 12 year old grandson. The 8 year old and the 11 year old (who is a little immature for age loved it), but the 12 year old and myself thought it was absolutly horrible. Don't waste your money.

This was one of the worst kids' movies we have seen. I think my kids laughed twice during the whole thing. My husband and I laughed once. It was ridiculous. We went to see this movie with little expectation and overall found it very enjoyable. It’s not a summer block buster by far, but all in all we were very glad we went to see it.
Great graphics and special effects. Decent story line for the target audience (kids). As adults it may lack a little in the storyline, but overall you will laugh, smile and appreciate characters.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

My husband and I took our 2 little girls, who are 5 and 2, last night and they really liked it. My 2 year old covered her ears most of the time because it was incredibly loud! Once the story started it was only really loud when the "action" sceens started. All in all the animation was cute, animals were fun to watch and just overall fun humor. Yeah, a bit far fetched for story line but it's from walt disney-where they let your imagination come to life. Overall it was a fun family night out with the kids.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
