This was a good too! If you're dog lover like I am you probably will enjoy this. There lots great dogs. and although it does start off the comedy makes this worth a watch.

Cute movie...all kids from 2 to adult will love this movie, especially if you love dogs. It has you laughing then I found myself in tears. Like the fact that none of the dogs (that had been adopted) died. Hard to explain to children.

Attended movie with 7 and 4 year old. Funny with lots of action for both children and good message for the 7 year old. Some parts were over his head but he enjoyed it. Sad parts with happy ending. I recommend it to all but understood by 7 and above.

This movie was very very entertaining and quite funny! I was very pleasantly surprised. I would recommend it to anyone with children above age 7 (under that age bracket, may be afraid of certain scenes or not understand some of the messages). My teenage son enjoyed it as well. I gave it 4 stars as some aspects are not realistic (how can the pet food employees just leave work like this, in the epilogue, how many dogs can realistically be taken in the hotel and how is its operation funded , etc)

I took my 6 and 9 year old daughters to see the movie. I have to say, one of the best family movies we've seen in a while. The dogs were adorable, the sibling relationship between the two lead stars was inspiring, and the family values were lovely. One note, there is a very sad part of the movie when the siblings are separated by family services and my children were crying but the happy ending more than made up for it.

My 6 and 8-year old nieces just loved this comedy--and that's just who it's designed for. If you're an adult, just sit back and enjoy it as another cute and harmless Disney flick. Actually, there's a lot to like about the two imaginative, hard-working and resourceful teens trapped in the abysmal foster care system and their caring case worker (a classy Don Cheadle). For laughs you get dimwit wannabe rockers as foster parents (comedians Lisa Kudrow and Kevin Dillon) and other IQ-challenged adults. Grandma, Auntie and 2 kids 6 and4, What a wonderful message. What a pleasure to hear the kids as well as adults laugh at this well planned message of teamwork hope and laughter . Even the 4 year old told her parents "the kids lost their parents and made a whole new family."
