Definitely a must-see for any Apatow fans. But also for anyone who loves awkward comedy ala The Office. This movie goes beyond my expectations and delivers a solid film with great casting and a finely paced plot. The film has it's raunchy moments, but the genuine sincerity of Segal's character really brought me into the movie. This movie hits on all cylinders and you're a robot if you don't laugh out loud at least three times during the movie.

A really great, albeit somewhat unbelievable, story that was superbly acted. The movie had everything, laughs, drama, and most of all heart.
It's definitely an adult movie, so don't bring the little ones. But this is a movie that you and your significant other will both enjoy.
5/5 - Highly recommended. Will add to my movie collection as soon as it is available.

This movie was great, I was laughing the whole time! The only thing I would have changed was the amount of times I saw Jason Segel's junk... wow that was a shock! It definitely was funny but dang... was it necessary? Now that I think about it, it is kind of ironic because normally in these kind of movies, you see more female nudity so maybe it was it a nice change... nice may not be the word. Anyway, the jokes were great, the actors had great timing and were very comical, and the story line (especially the Dracula show) was very original! Loved it!

Movie had no real meaning and acting was of course lacking. It was just short of a really bad XXX rate film. A full frontal of a really ugly guy isn't my idea of a fun sight. He must have been desperate to get into the business. People in the theater where mortified and all groaned at the sight of him. Don't take your teenage kids to see it.

I knew this movie would be funny but the trailers made it look like it might be somewhat dull. I couldn't have been any wrong. This movie is hilarious. I laughed just about the entire time. It's worth seeing just for all the one liners from some of the characters. My only complaint is that it was a little longer than it should have been. Other than that, I highly recommend this movie.

seriously, i don't generally see movies in this genre. that said, this movie is hilarious and smart. i definitely felt like it could have pushed the envelope more - so it definitely falls on standard tropes, etc. but it is laugh out loud funny. a real joy!

An excellent movie. Every cast member down to the smallest role is wonderfully funny. Edited at what feels like a brisk pace, the laughs are virtually non-stop. Despite the often raunchy comedy (not a problem for me), there is a sincerity of emotion that grounds the film. Writers Segel and Apatow could easily have let the characters slip into purely cartoonish archetypes, but they are actually written (mostly) with depth and complexity. There may be more "nice" (read: boring) rom-com's out there nowadays, but there are almost none with the humor, sincerity, or depth of "Forgetting Sarah Marshall". Bonus: Who can compete with "Dracula," the puppet musical? Noone, that's who.

The "full frontal" buzz got me to see this movie, I admit, plus the positive reviews. I give it 2 1/2 out of 5 stars. There were too many long-ish stretches where I didn't laugh, so it doesn't get a solid "3 star" rating from me. That said, it did sort of "grow on me" (pardon the pun) as the movie went on. The complexity of the relationships was suprisingly realistic, and some of the characters were endearing.

My wife and I enjoyed this a great deal, it's got some good laughs and a decent story. The movie worked well - it isn't anything that you will remember for a long time but it's well done.

I was expecting the movie to have it's cute & painful moments and I was right, but I was surprised by just how fluid and cohesive the entire film was. It was all believably portrayed and was a joy to watch. Although I must say the line about Sarah's show having another season in it and wanting to make a transition into film seemed to parallel Bell's own issue with the sudden cancellation of Veronica Mars. It's a breakup movie and goes as expected, but it is the ride that makes it worthwhile... much like many relationships.
