It was one of the best Pixar's movie yet. It had all kind of humors. There should've been more pops-out in 3d. I would recommend this movie, but if you don't see it it's ok. There's nothing really special to miss.

This is a very good mixture of comedy & drama. It is an excellent choice for the whole family. There are some sad parts, but mostly it is very funny, especially the idea of having the dogs speak.

I really extremely enjoyed this movie. Saw it in 3D, lil bro saw it in 2D and both agree it was great. There were several laugh out loud moments and several moments where I had to wipe tears from my eyes. I loved the talking dogs! They were hilarious! There were several moments that were really sad but it quickly picks itself back up and your laughing and having a great time. Loved the Boy Scout, and the Snipe hunting. Great great movie for everyone.

I love Pixar's movies, but this has to be the best ever. It's definitely more adult friendly and has some great action, absolutely hilarious moments (many of them), and some very sad parts (more than I've seen in a Disney/Pixar movie).

There wasn't a child in the theater when I went to see this movie with my two adult children -- most people there were 40 or older -- and we all had a grand time. There was a lot more to this movie than I expected, and I was fully entertained for the duration. The artwork was fantastic, and the plot line was definitely intriguing. The humor was understandable for young ones but sophisticated enough for us older folks -- a lot of laugh-out-loud moments. The overall story was very touching.

i think disney and pixar are the best combo in animated films! the short film at the beginning was hilarious! poor stork! poor cloud! the movie itself had me in tears most of the time from laughing so hard! OMG! you definitely dont have to be a kid to see this one! Like all other Pixar movies, Up was well done - touching and funny with a lesson for all, and the good guy wins in the end.
A little formulaic? Perhaps. Predictable? Yeah a little. Does it matter? Not so much.
As long as you don't go in with exaggerated expectations, thinking you're going to see some art festival film, then you will enjoy yourself.
The one caveat - it can be a bit scary for real little ones (hence the PG rating), but honestly? Spiderwick Chronicles and Coraline were significantly scarier

Though many of my friends have refused to see this movie because it is "depressing," I thought it was absolutely phenomenal. "UP" is Pixar's best movie to date. Not just visually beautiful, the story is concise and unimaginably moving emotionally. And oh yeah, it's really funny too.
Accompanied by a sweepingly romantic musical score, you will quite figuratively be swept off your feet. A strong contender for Best Score and almost sure-fire nominee for Best Picture (especially since the Academy is nominating ten films this year).

Disney's Pixar made 'UP', a wonderful, laughable, and successful animated motion picture! It seems to appeal to most ages......this was better than almost all the other animated pictures of the year. Usually Pixar makes movies just for the money and they try and get a movie out every 6 months. But Disney really earned the money sent to the beautifully filmed picture. If you go to see this movie, try to see it in 3-D. Either way, this movie is one of the best films off the year!

This film has made me realize (with no small sense of wonder and some sadness) that animated films have now actually become more valuable tools for conveying complex ideas and deep emotions than modern "adult" films do these days. I feel as if the tables have been flipped over and nowadays the "cartoons" are the R rated action films. Up is a great film by any standard and the voiceover acting is superb. Both my daughter and me enjoyed it immensely despite the fairly large gap between our ages. It is both highly entertaining and a deeply moving film. Go see it! Well worth the expense and the trip to the theater.

My 12 year old son and I went to see "UP" and we both enjoyed it. I would most definitely recommended everyone to run and see this movie. This has to be one of the cleanest, most wholesome, entertaining picture of the summer of '09. The characters are engaging and fun. However, the peril scenes were quite intense, which explains why such a charming movie received a rating of PG. All around good movie. A little scary in spots for the little ones, but other than that its got a good story and Ed Anser delivers a great performance.

From an adults perspective, the movie is great - thought provoking, retrospective, especially to those of us who are older. I took my grandson to see it - he is nearly 5 - and while he liked the movie overall, at least once during the movie he said he didn't like it. I think it was because he obviously wouldn't grasp the idea of 'time slipping away' on your dreams, and how the needs of the day can cause you to dig into the "dream funds", making you start all over again. And then having something final, such as a death, end the dream - with it yet being unrealized. However, there were parts he did like a lot (mostly the upbeat times). He said afterward that he liked the movie.
