After seeing trailers for this movie, I had every intention of hating it. But there was nothing else showing this weekend and my husband wanted to see it so we went. This was the most touching, original story I've seen in years. It is a beautiful tale of humanity. I literally laughed and cried several times during this movie. Adults should go see this and while kids may not get every moment, they will like it too. This movie has heart. Thanks Disney for another winner!

If I could give this movie 10 stars I would. Up blew me away. The story was original. The characters had character. Even the sort file at the beginning of the movie was great. This is a movie for all ages. Disney/Pixar out did themselves this. I am going to see this movie again in 3D.

Me and my husband went and saw this with some friends and their little girl. We laughed and realized the adults laughed more than the children.
We were hit by surprised when we found some sad parts and of course the children didn't understand it but the adults it.
This was a great movie for both adults and children and we have already voted its being bought on BluRay when released.

I took my 2 year old to see this movie and he loved it. I definantly enjoyed the art style of this movie the main character has a very pointy look. The beginning was a little sad but thats Pixar. They have always been great at crafting a story that targets a dual audience very well. Parents can watch their movies and relate and so can the children. Over all its something worth seeing.

I thought this movie was just wonderful, my kids were just excited when i told them we were going to see the movie. And boy oh boy were we all happy we did. I went with my whole family, including my 3 & 6 year old children.I almost walked out b/c it was too intense for small viewers.I thought the graphics and the story line was great, but I did not think it was for small viewers.I think they mislead the people to beleive it was, so that they would have a greater turn out,but it was more of a show for teens and up.I would Not reccomend this movie for small children.

this was one of the most enlightening films i've seen in a long time. i got there late and had to sit in the very front row with small children running around everywhere, and i still loved the movie. it has a truly heartwarming story-line, and the comedy hits at just the right times. the humor isn't outdated or inappropriate, and it's funny for everyone. i wholeheartedly recommend this movie to everyone.

Pixar once again delivers beautiful imagery and environments. Characters are funny and relationships, touching. Children in our theater struggled to stay interested through first, largely dialogue-less portion of the film. Destinations in the film are not super interesting for an adventure movie. The climax of the film involves conflict with villains we haven't had time to get to know and dislike. Still, the movie closes with happily emotional scenes that satisfy. If you think The Incredibles is the best Pixar movie, you'll probably rank this one in the bottom half for Pixar all time; somewhere around Bug's Life and Cars.

My son and I went to see UP yesterday and it was a very cute movie. I was surprised by some of the deep and more adult themes in the movie (aging, inability to have children, etc.), but it certainly kept me as a parent engaged. The humor in the middle kept my son laughing, which is always a plus. If your kids like Pixar movies, then I highly recommend taking your kids to see this movie as well.

My husband and I took our 3 year old son to see this movie, knowing he'd enjoy it...but not expecting it to reach out to the adults. Well, it did. By the end of the first 15min, you might find yourself tearing up and again at the end. There are lots of laughs in between too! Another surprising detail was the little boy made the movie! We thought Doug, the dog, would...being dog lovers and all. hee hee

The first quarter of the movie sets up the story and was maybe a little over the heads of the kids. This was when the "audience" was the most restless. However, the pace picks up nicely and the story holds together and is really engaging through the end.
Maybe a notch below Wall-E but not by much. Highly recommended.

This is not a movie for little children. That does not mean that there is anything inappropriate - it is just that this movie will have a deeper meaning for those who have experienced life and had to deal with disappointments. This was a fantastic movie! Already recommended it to several friends. Laughed and cried - perfect combination! Even addresses difficult home lives for some children in a positive manner! Great - Great - Great!

Great movie! Made you laugh and cry. There were some scary moments for some of the younger kids in the theater (3 and under). We had three generations in our group and we all thought it was a great movie!

I HIGHLY recommend that anyone see this movie. It's emotional, exciting, original, and unexpectedly hilarious. Definitely one of Pixar's strongest films. Do yourself a favor: skip "Star Trek" and "Terminator Salvation"--go see "Up" instead!!!

Up is simply a masterpiece. The storyline and writing is excellent. There are many good messages found in this movie relating to following your dreams, and the emotional highs and lows of this story are simply brilliant. Gotta see it.. Let us welcome Up to the list of classics.
