The previews for this movie did very little to explain the plot...this movie took me completely by surprise, I went in with no idea of what I should expect and walked out with a smile from ear to ear and chattering on about my favorite parts with my friends. This movie will make you laugh, it will make you cry...and then...when that's all over with...the last 60% of the movie will have you falling out of your chair with uncontrollable laughter in complete hysteria!...If I could give this movie more than 5 stars, I totally would...in my opinion, this movie is the BEST thing that pixar has ever turned out...the story is great, the animation is amazing, and the dialogue is completely, utterly, and ridiculously funny.

My grand daughter and I both enjoyed "UP". The animation was awesome, and it had a different story line with a bit of a lesson on giving of ones self...at any age. Very enjoyable movie. I took my sons and we all loved it. Our ages 46, 20, 17, 8. Russell is my new favorite kid. Animation was as expected - outstanding. It made me laugh and had a couple of touching moments ( Mr. fredicksons wife & Russell speaking about his Dad). Close to giving it a 5 star Perfect length 136 mins, not to long.

I loved this movie, even though it wasn't your typical Disney Classic. It was cute and humorous, and could entertain both child and adult. However, I have some friends who are young moms, and they thought the movie was too dark for the younger kids. My opinion is that is might be more for older children, but the younger children would still enjoy it.

My husband, teen daughter (14) and her friend, son (7) and I went and saw this and it is a very good movie.
It is very sweet and touching in the beginning (I even found myself crying through it). We were laughing in the middle through the action and adventure the old man and young boy end up going through. And in the end I found myself crying again as you see a lonely old man and a young fatherless child connect and become deeply bonded.
Not once did my 7 year old need to use the bathroom and sat entranced with the movie, so wiggle factor was a zero with him. We all recommend you go and see this!

This movie was good. The animation is what you would expect for Pixar, very good. The story line was original. My local paper gave this movie 5 stars. It was very good, 4 stars maybe but not as funny as I was expecting. There were several funny moments but I would classify this as an action adventure more than a comedy. Definitely not as good as Wall-E or the Incredibles.

My six year old loved this movie. He had a little bit of a hard time understanding the beginning about the couple's relationship, but it was very tender and I was able to explain it to him. The grown-ups will love this one too. Great message.

Feel good movie, good for the family but the pacing is a bit off, not your typical cartoon for kids mainly due to the main character being an old man. Older audiences will probably have more to relate to. Pretty funny movie as well, especially through the "boy scout" character. Overall, enjoyable.

Pixar does it again! Up is a wonderful adventure--full of humor and touching moments. I've come to realize anything connected with Pixar is an absolute "must see"--no doubt about it. Hesitate no longer. Purchase your tickets, sit back and enjoy the show! :)

My husband and I took our daughter and her two children to see UP.... the oldest being 2 years. We all LOVED the movie. Like so many other PIXAR and Disney movies, it appeals to all ages.
