My wife and I had dinner and then a movie. This is the movie we chose. We had a great time and loved it. It kept us entertained througout and had enough comedy as well as love and passion to keep you hooked. It was a good mix to keep the viewer focused. Good Flick!!!

Sandra Bullock hasn't disappointed me yet. This movie has all the emotional elements: laughter, joy, love, sadness, etc. In my opinion, it's a well-rounded movie. Ryan Reynolds is truly adorable, gorgeous, sexy, and funny. However, the movie doesn't do the Alaskian landscape justice! I've been there, and it's far far more beautiful in real life. I would recommend this movie, AND A CRUISE WITH A BALCONY TO ALASKA'S INSIDE PASSAGE!!

Having one of those "I need to let go of it" days? This is a great movie to take in.
A "Romantic Comedy" with plenty of laughs, and just enough "romance" to keep it "real". OK, the premise isn't to beliveable and there are plenty of "that couldn't happen" moments. But it's FUN!
Sandra Bullock is totally believable as the "ballsy editor-dominatrix". Ryan Reynolds is her perfect counterpart as the "eager, but not heart-less" over-achieving assistant. They are well matched.
Betty White! SHE IS A HOOT! as the "older but incredibly hip" grandmother.
Predictable outcome? Yes... But isn't that what you want in a "my day sucked, need a good movie to turn it around" sort of movie?

The movie was entertaining but contrived and a bit predictable. Both Ryan and Sandra look great in the movie, and Betty White is fun. LIke most date movies, however, this movie gave away almost every funny line in the previews. There's not much else to look forward to except "Ramone." It won't be the worst $$ you've spent but is probably better as a rentable.

It's refreshing to see a movie that entertains and leaves you feeling good. Here you have the best actors making the most of a tightly-written script. Yes, it's about a problem (deportation) compounded by a quick plan (marriage) with a common storyline (boss falls for secretary). The twist is who is being deported (a executive) and the pairing (female boss/male secretary). Add a bucket of fresh ideas and a perfectly layered story and you've got a funny, funny movie. I missed jokes because he theater was full of loudly laughing people. I guess I am going to have to see it again...and again! And did I mention the puppy? Scene-stealer!

I thought this movie was great. Good romantic comedies are few and far between. This one made me laugh and cry. It was a great movie; much better than I've seen in a long time.

The wife and I went to see this on our weekly date night. I typically tolerate and enjoy "chick flicks" and have a good laugh, but this one was out right hilarious. We both were laughing out loud the entire movie. We both highly recommend it!

How did two such talented comics end up in this disaster of a cliche? The jokes were predictiable and not even well-executed. Betty White's role as the irascibly hip but lovable grandma was quite annoying. It's one thing to willingly suspend disbelief for the sake of romantic comedy, but anyone with half a brain will find the banality of this film painful. The scenery was stunning, but the exaggerated time spent filming location shots( accompanied by "inspiring" soundtrack) merely prolonged the agony.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
