From the time that this movie starts until the time that it finishes, you will be laughing your head off.
Ryan Reynolds has completely mastered a level of pithiness in this movie that hasn't been seen since in quite some time.
Sandra Bullock -- two words -- oh my! She has transformed herself into an ice princess for most of the movie. But, much like the Grinch, her heart grows several sizes by the end of the movie.
This is a movie that you will have to see more than once to be able to catch ALL of the one liners and great moments. Oh, and don't leave out that you get to see Ryan and Sandra BOTH 100% in the buff --- it's definitely got some Oscar nom's headed it's way!

I laughed through the entire movie. Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds are an awesome comedy team. They play so well off of each other you actually believe they are going through this whirlwind romance/sham.
The only part that saddens me is that I cannot recommend this movie to any friends or family due to Hollywood's incesant need to put as much nudity in as the audience can handle. The entire scene could have been tastefully done without having to show a completely nude Sandra Bullock , covering herself with a glove, for more than 5 minutes. - but as usual that is what people pay to see.

Any movie with Sandra Bullock starring in a comedy makes me laugh before I arrive at the theatre. Add the absolutely adorable Ryan Reynolds to the film and a perfect supporting cast and this movie has little chance of failure. Sandra once again shows perfect timing in her role as a tightly wound, over-the-top, professional book editor who strikes fear in the hearts of every person in her building, let alone her office. The cast couldn't be better; the dialogue witty and quick; the scenery magnificent; the music perfect and the laughter unending. This is a perfect date movie or chick flick. Take your pick!! Excellent movie. Both my wife and I laughed hard and the location shots in Alaska make for a nice locale switch between NYC. Bullock and Reynolds are great together, and you can't help but love Betty White. My only complaint, which is not plot related, is the film copy/dupe in our theater was really poor in terms of color correction between reels. Drastic and startling difference in the color saturation levels. Ouch! Film, plot and acting, though: wonderful!

This movie was funnier than I expected! I knew it was going to be good, but I'd give it four thumbs up if I could. It was Sandy at her funniest.... I cannot wait to see it again!!!

Laughed, snickered and even chortled all through this movie. Is is believable? No. Is it jam-packed with suspense & twists and turns? No. Does it have some unnecessary, over-the-top, distractions occasionally? Yes. So what...I "propose"? Pitch perfect comedic acting by Bullock, Reynolds & Betty White ...throw in gorgeous scenery....season with an excellent musical score....and top it off with several awe-inspiring memorable sight gags perfectly timed (the naked scene, the dog & bird scene, the first notice of deportation scene, the male dancer scene & the dress fitting scene are some examples) and you have the piece de resistance in comedy movies so far in 2009. See it with your honey & prepare to laugh!

This movie was funny with serious family issues going on at the same time. The scenery was breath taking, the music was great and of coarse the actors were the best. Definitely recommend it to friends. Great date movie.
