Although the plot was predictable, the comedy wasn't. Sandra Bullock was hilarious. I'd buy this DVD just to see her dance with Betty White in the woods again. Andrew's character was a bit two-dimensional, but he's cute, so who cares?? I think the guys would enjoy seeing the 'Queen Witch' dethroned in this chick flick.

This movie was a good combination of all the things ladies want to see in a "chick flick." There was the hidden romance, great scenery, and good chemistry between the leads. Betty White definitely added something special. I'd buy this movie when it comes out on DVD.

This movie is a throwback to old good movies. The characters are well developed, the plot is good with many surprises (especially the Paxton empire). The "Margaret" dragon lady needed a more time to show that side of her character. The "Andrew" character needed to show more of his "falling in love" because it was slightly unbelievable that he would change so much in such a minimal amount of time, with no real contact. The "Margaret" character was better at showing her increasing feelings for "Andrew" and her confessions caused by those feelings. Maybe they cut out that part making the movie fit time limits, but then too "short". The finished product delivers a "feel good" movie. Funny end takes.

A great family movie! We went to see it together and we all loved it. The whole cast is great and Sandra and Ryan have great chemistry. The plot was excellent; we lughed, we cried and were definitely entertined. I would surely recommend that you see this film.

This movie has great comic timing and is hilarious throughout. Bullock and Reynolds have great chemistry and a quirkiness on the level of Hepburn and Grant in "Bringing up Baby". Parts were laugh-out-loud funny and others parts just made you smile - especially scenes with Betty White. I thought Steenburgen and Nelson were very likable as well. Yes, the ending was pretty likely but getting there is the adventure. Go see it if you want a good laugh. It is a movie that has something for everyone.

I have to admit, I was skeptical about whether or not Sandra Bullock (not much of a fan) and Ryan Reynolds (big fan) could have any sort of chemistry. They actually do, and it's wonderful. But even that pales in comparison to the comedic timing of the film, its hysterically funny writing, and the scene stealing amusement of Betty White. I am not a fan of romcoms, but this one had me laughing from start to finish. Loved it.

This is a great movie to see when you need a lift. It shows that everyone has a soft side. Ice queens (kings) can be broken, they have hearts too. It is no secret that I LOVE romantic comedies. And, yes, a happy ending is a given but isn't that why we go see romantic comedies? The comedic talent of Sandra Bullock leaves me speachless. Though this romantic movie has a very predictable main plot, certain individual characters and situations create comedic moments that are extremely enjoyable. There is a strong chemistry between the main characters which makes the viewer want to see them interact more. This is a movie I would see again and will probably buy.

We went for Father's Day (really Mother's Day). I loved every minute of it -- from Sandra to Ryan (yum), everyone including the dog. The eagle was good, too. It had laughs, loves, and tears.
