Light hearted comedy with just the right amount of laughter to elevate my mood. Nice to see Bullock doing what she does best, romantic comedy. Reynolds was a nice suprise and Nelson, Steenbergen, and White gave the movie it's well rounded comedic characteristics.

This is a feel-good romantic-comedy with lots of laughs and something for practically the whole family (except the littlest kiddies). Betty White is hysterical in this movie and Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds have chemistry and are wonderful to watch together. I have already recommended this movie to several folks who have called to thank me for telling them to see it. Have fun this summer and see "The Proposal"!

I loved this movie. I would pay to see it again! The plot is great and Bullock and Reynolds have such a great chemistry.
Normally when you see a trailor for a romantic comedy, that's the funniest part of the movie, but this movie was full of laughs.
It's a nice change from the blood and gore flicks that have dominated the industry the past two years. If you are interested in a comdey that doesn't make you leave the theatre feeling dumber, then this is the perfect choice.

We enjoyed it. Great twist on an old plot - very similar to "Green Card". Sandra Bullock is great as always and Betty White stole the show in all her scenes. Very refreshing because there was very minimal bad language & nude scene (the only one) was tastefully done, especially for a PG-13 rating.

If you are a Sandra Bullock fan, you will love this movie. The supporting cast in this movie play very well off of each other. There are some funny moments as well as serious one. The movie is very evenly paced. Ryan Reynolds is good in the male lead. Mary Steenburgen and Craig T. Nelson are the perfect parents and Betty White is everybody's slightly off center grandmother. My wife and I had a date night to see this movie and could not stop talking about it all weekend. One of the best movies that we have seen in years. Sandra Bullock had us in tears while dancing and signing. We are actually talking about seeing it AGAIN in the theatres (very unusual for us). This was one of the best movies I've seen. Everyone in the theater was laughing and enjoying this movie, women and men alike. Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds were great together and should definitely co-star together again! Don't miss this one!
