I was skeptical about this movie at first because it seemed like a typical romantic comedy but it was amazing. It definitely went beyond my expectations and was certainly not a chick flick. I laughed the WHOLE time, often to the point that tears ran uncontrollably down my face. The cast was a perfect match and the story was great. Excellent movie for girls or guys. I will be buying this one on DVD for sure. I highly recommend this to anyone!

Yes, the proposal is a somewhat predicatable love story. But, the movie had me, and everyone else in the auditorium laughing the entire movie. It is long, but if you need to take a break, be sure not to miss the bonfire scene with Betty White. Make sure to stay through part of the credits also.

OK, if you have ever seen a romantic comedy you already know the story, but who cares it's all in the way it's told. Went to see it with my wife and our three daughters while our 4 sons were eating out and staying as far away as possible from the Kleenex zone as they call chic flicks. I expected a 100% girl's movie and was ready to suffer through it like a man and father.
Nice surprise it was an Excellent comedy with some tones of a girl movie. Laughed and laughed non stop. Loved the Alaska outdoor scenes. Too bad for the boys the missed a nice film.

It's a cute premise (with lots of plot holes!) and the actors are all very good. The scenery once they get to Alaska is gorgeous, and there are some funny moments. However, the age difference between the two leads is too great (and never commented on by anyone on in the movie!) and the movie could have easily been cut by a good twenty or so minutes. It's a fun, light, don't have to think, kind of film!

Fun, entertaining and a feel good movie. Somewhat predictable, but I, personally, require a happy ending unless I'm at a horror flick. Ryan Reynolds holds his own against Sandra Bullock and has a great screen presence. I love his "deer in the headlights" expression.

Hilarious! Sandra Bullock is a great comeidan. Ryan Reynolds looks great without his shirt on and Betty White is always delightful. Laughed all the way through. Highly reccomend.

Sandra Bullock was delightful as the wicked witch for a change, of course there is a warm heart underneath. Betty White was fantastic-very funny, Ryan Reynolds adorable. Light, yet entertaining.
