I took my daughter, age 9, to see this opening weekend and we loved it! It's been a long time since I have laughed so loudly in a movie theatre. The comedy is great and even though it's the 3rd time around, they have not run out of great material. It's a must see and the 3D is a nice touch for all of the action scenes in the film.

My 3 year old and I both loved Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs so much that when it was over we wanted to see it again. It is a great story that shows how familys aren't always made of blood relatives in a very funny and entertaining way.

This movie a great movie in the sense that you can go to it & just sit back & enjoy it. I was very impressed with the 3-D technology in that I didn't feel it to be intrusive like other films. Plot wise: the story line was a little dull & slow. The movie takes a bit to get going & then the ending comes too quickly. I don't think the humor was as "smart" as the other 2 Ice Age films but the character of Sid never fails to deliver. I was disappointed that the main characters of Diego & Sid took a backseat to the plot after I've come to love them so much & that's not to say that they are important to the movie, but not as much so as the last 2. This one seemed to focus more on Manny, Ellie, Crash, Eddie, & a new character, Buck.

Not as good as the first Ice Age. Parts of it were trying to be more scary than fun or funny. The 3D was great, but charging $12.50 and $11.50 to see it is rediculous. How about a $6 or $8 movie? One liners in this one not as good as before!

Took our grandson. We are so happy we have him close so that we can go to these shows, although I noticed quite a few adults & young adults without benefit of little kids to bring along. My favorite of the 3 Ice Age movies is the second one where we are introduced to Queen Latifa's character, Ellie. Buck was very entertaining but I think the humor was geared more to adults than our 9 yr old grandson. He enjoyed the chases and the silly stuff. I am sure he will go again with his Mom, because she wants to see it. She really enjoyed 'Up'.

Ice Age 3 is fantastic. Took my 6 and 4 and girlfriend to see it in 3D, but the appeal of the 3D aspect soon took backseat to the excellent story content and accompanying lines. The comedy is by far the wittiest of the three. A perfect movie for all ages and the graphics, 3D or not, are cutting edge and visually pleasing. Highly recommend!

All six 11 year olds loved it. A slow start; the rest fast moving. Great family values, friendships and relationships, and a few laughs. Very positive and sweet. Predictability -- a plus for a family movie. Love Sid and the new characters. The 3D doesn't take advantage of objects popping off the screen, but it does give a warm feeling as if we are a part of the movie. We all think it is the best Ice Age and a great stand alone!

I took my grandkids, 12,10 and 2 and we all loved it. I will never tire of skrats antics. Being the third ice age, it was just as good if not better than the first two. Definately will add to my collection when it comes to DVD

Totally worth the $13.75! Highly recommend watching this if you've never watched a 3D before. No cheesy in your face 3D effects which was great.

I think some of the other reviewers are far too critical and unappreciative of the creative achievement. This is fun stuff for all ages. The 3D effects are used artfully and reinforce the action and storyline. We're beyond 3D being the main attraction (or only substance), yet where there were opportunities, the 3D took center stage, was very clever, and added greatly.
The script and animation are brilliant.
Go and enjoy. You will!
