Good movie for intra-generational family! We liked that they were 'historically correct' in explaining the dinosaurs vs. the ice age. Don't know if I liked the squirrel message at the end, but it was pretty funny. We saw it in 3-D, which was expensive, but interesting and fun. I was glad to see some politically correct voices to the characters, finally!

Plot was solid. Very sweet and funny. Loved the 3D effects. I recommend you do the 3D although it would still be a good movie to watch without it. It is not entirely dependent on the 3D like most 3D movies are.

My husband and I (nope, we don't have any kids!) went to see it for 3 reasons. First: we both loved the first 2 Ice Age movies, Second: it was showing in 3D, and Third: we hadn't been to the new IMAX Theatre yet. Let's just say we were NOT disappointed with any of it! We both thought it was a GREAT movie, very funny! Great for kids too if you have 'em!

It seems the writers of Ice Age are out of ideas. The first one was great, the second was funny, and the third...well lets put it this way, if you have seen any ads for it on TV you have seen all of the best lines. The kids liked it at least (so it gets at least a 2), and the 3D part keeps you watching, but I suspect there are better movies to go see right now.

Dawn of the Dinosaurs 3D is a little bit light on plot, but the continuous humor and effective use of 3D technology more than makes up for it. 3D effects are tasteful and not overwhelming. As always, Scrat's subplot is a laugh a minute.

This was my 1st 3D movie, so I was pleasantly surprised. The storyline was good, but I don't think it was as funny as the 1st Ice Age. There were quite a few moments that the adults laughed, but the kids didn't get it. But my 5 year old was throughly entertained. He giggled most of the way through. Overall a pretty good flick!

My son and I recently saw Ice Age 1 and 2 in anticipation of Ice Age 3. My 5 year old son loved it from beginning to end. Now we just need to have smaller 3D glasses for children to fit more comfortable.

Fun and what you would expect from Ice Age but don't waste your money on the 3D version. It doesn't add that much to the movie.
